Whew... what a damn day... LOL. Boy you said it Bren!!!
Just spend the better of 2 hours in Urgent Care with Fred... He was out jogging in Breen Park behind the house when a dog attacked and bit him. The owner (a woman) grabbed the dog's leash and took off... POOF.
So.. he has 2 very ugly holes in his thigh... scrapes all over him cuz this dog was strong enough to bring BIG OLE FRED down to the ground... and he had to have a tetnus shot and poor baby!!!! Antibiodics and they gave him a prescription for pain pills...
This is his 2nd time in 6 years being attacked and bitten by dogs while jogging!!! Shit.
I can't believe the owner would run off...unless there has been an incident with the dog before...I'm thinking hse lives right nearby...LET'S GET 'EM!!!!!!!
OMG, poor Fred. That is awful. As much time as I spend out running, I worry about that too. I carry a knife, clipped on my belt. I will do my best to put a hole in him, before he puts one in me.
Of course, I worry about 2-legged dogs attacking, too. Same policy for them. Poke some holes and make THEM yell for help.

Have you seen this woman before, Tina? If you have, go to her house, get her name and call the police/animal control (and kick her @#$& from all of us).....I hope Fred feels better soon
I've got "Dad duty" (not at all saying that in mean way) again tomorrow; sissy wants a day off.......BUT the good thing is HE SHOWERED TODAY with his nurse..so his "reward" was he got mail
Oh my... passing through before bed...girls, I saw with my own two eyes the leg wounds on Fred..pictures show nothing.....I'm horrified! I so feel for him..these are not going to heal anytime soon :( And the docs sent him home with 3 bandages!! He used them all by the evening with the serous (sp?)drainage

Well... i got the pictures of freds bite posted. I think im gonna make some reward posters and put them out in the park. This womnan should NOT get away with leaving. I dont care how "scared of my hubby" she was. Bitch.
If I can find someone that was at the park and knows where she went... i will send animal control AND the police there.
Anyway... gotta go finish making the pasta salad for the soccer picnic and then trying to get fred to stay off his damn leg. It bled all night.
Brenda - those bandages I picked ARE too small. Im gonna go over to CVS today...then maybe walmart. dun dun duunnnn. (dont tell steve or he will TRULY be convinced im ready for CAMPING vs GLAMPING.) hahaha

well ladies, I'm finally able to move this afternoon... got a flu shot on Thursday... and I guess I caught a virus on top of that.. been heeving both ends since Friday night.... I got on the scale this morning.... I have lost 7 lbs since Friday.... unreal... I told Mike last night I think I want to go to the hospital... KK had it too... she doesn't need to lose a damn ounce, poor baby... she cried all night, MB took care of Mylee, and us... I know fluid and dehydration.. but I just thought that was crazy! 7 lbs...
Unreal about Fred.... they make little miniature baseball bats.. that's what me and my friend walk with... knock the shit out of them..
Leigh Ann, hopefully the stretching of the hat like Steph said will work for Dailen's hat..

Marci, the doctor would have written a script for some muscle relaxers for my head/neck, but I told him I have to be alert, for my toddler, my job. No time to be comatose. He suggested lots of little breaks to get up and stretch, and making sure my keyboard is angled correctly, etc. He really encouraged the yoga/Pilates, too.
Yuck about the flu stuff, too. Sounds like you are way dehydrated. Replace those electrolytes! I hope you feel better soon.
My doctor also said it was refreshing to meet someone with the "fortitude" to tough out a cold and not come in demanding antibiotics...I told him that doesn't make me hurt any less! Ha Ha! (He thinks the headaches could also be a sequela of my recent bad sinus infection).
I meant to say MONITOR angled correctly...duh.
Wow... it was a long day. Girls got pissed off at some of the girls at the picnic so i went back and picked them up...they were there about 10 minutes. *sigh* We watched the charger game... then went shopping for fuzzy jammies and fuzzy slippers. got both!! YAY
Fred's leg is gross... and i dont know how he will stand ALL day tomorrow at work... poor thing.
Oops..I forgot... Marci - I never got the sweats from my medication... sounds like the flu... poor thing. Get some rest

Me too. Poor thing... he has the worst luck. He says it doesnt hurt too bad... but he moaned last night everytime he rolled over... so I dont believe him...
We both go to court for my "exhibition of speed" ticket on Tuesday... then he goes to work from noon till 8.
