Steve last saw his brother and wife...last April when we met them in Colorado for his sister's surprise bday party :)
I'm doing ok with him gone...he's gone so much normally with his teaching that I'm pretty used to it..the only difference is waking up to see him next to me in bed...but that's ok...because I wakeup to Tobi, she sleeps under the covers next to me...everynight :D
I guess everyone is having a busy day!!! Although, Kathi should be in Vegas as of several hours ago...Lucky her!!!

I also get used to MB being out of town alot... but it's still hard.

Well Brenda - the fridge wasnt leaking this morning... but its a slow drip... so its very hard to detect.
I have never eaten at a cracker barrel... ever. :o( Sounds like Im missing something!!
Oh Tina :D Well, we could take a drive to Yuma and you can try it out....Yuma Arizona is the closest Cracker Barrel to us :) Like Marci said it's pure homestyle comfort food...I'm sure they have healthy stuff too but I have only had the bad stuff
YEs, at the Cracker Barrell the "bad stuff" is the Good Stuff!!!! LOL
they do have a "health and heart" menu as well... :)

:) Thanks Tina...I had fun after work prior to the meeting (post fair meeting) Phil is one of my teachers/mentors and he has me shadow him ...and yesterday I got to watch him repot a Coral tree...I have a full grown one and a bonsai and this type of tree is a challenge (it's actually in the succulent family), for me anyway, since I'm so new to learning what I'm doing LOL..then I got to trim a juniper's foliage and then Phil comes and cuts the branches... I got to watch Janet in her element and she gave me some plants (she's one of my teachers) and watch Cindy (another one of my teachers)..Now all of that is so FUN for me :D

I am off to my psychiatrist appt and then my psychologist appt (hope I spelled those right)- yea, I know! Back to back appts...that can make you feel looney for sure.
It's this anxiety - driving in the rain and over bridges - which I have to get over so that I can jump in my car and zoom home on the weekends.
They are going to be upset because I didn't start taking the Zoloft when I was home - that was the deal...I am bringing it with me and I am going to try and work up enough courage to take it...

This could work - I say that we collectively make a goal and when we all reach it then we start planning our trip for next year sometime.
Like mine could be:
Find a medication that treats my anxiety (which would require me to take it) - huge challenge for me!
or
Drop a pound a week for five consecutive check-ins - I would have to up my cardio and decrease my calories.
See, whatever goal we set for ourselves is based on where we are in life. So, we would support one another and when everyone has reached their goal we start planning, but that goal has to be maintained! Like, I couldn't quit taking my meds or gain that 5 pounds back!
What do you guys think...I know it's out there...what can I say, I have a lot of time on my hands:)

Got into work late...after work, I'm taking myself to the zoo...to walk those BIG hills....visit the animals and plants (PEACE and TRANQUILITY) then will head to the airport for Steve's arrival at 8pm

Well Marci ...LMAO....I think I lost track of my goals on the blog because I started just having fun with all of you .BUT NOW :D the prize is a trip for us to play, in person...now that is my focus...must lose 25 pounds so I can play with my boogers!!!! :)
I will need to reset my goals too. I will NEVER be at the weight I set when we started this... and since its so NOT obtainable... I really havent put my all into it. So... I reset to 10 lbs and if i can do that... i will be meeting with my BOOGERS in VEGAS!!! WHOO HOOOOOOO

My revised plan for now will be to lose 25 pounds :) and my prize will be to meet/greet fellow boggers on a trip~ another prize will be able to wear clothes in my closet~ and then I will feel complete :D zen like on the blog

Hey Tina...Steve and I won't be attending the soccor game tonight
:( I have a dental appt at 3pm...but after that...we're going off on the Harley for some MUCH NEEDED down time....then going home to go to bed early (me anyway LOL)...we got home from the airport last night to Joes Crab Shack going on in the house (Dana was in the mood to entertain and prepare seafood), so there was quite alot of activity for Steve and I to have some quality time. I'm mad at him, so therefore, it must mean we need quality time..

Hey all...I had a great evening with Steve on the Harley...a ride up the coast to one of our fav places to eat :) ....sigh...
then I spent time in the garden watering and touching my plants...then some quality time with the piggies :)
then I updated my blog...come by for a visit :)
