Ok...girls got beat but took 3rd overall for tourney. Not too shabby. Tia got a yellow for taking some girl down HARD. They carried her off the field.. but hey... it was a 50-50 ball and Tia was just NOT gonna be the one to go down. ha.
Jenna got nailed in the eye and side of the face with a ball to the face... she will have a shiner tomorrow. LOL.
LOOOONG day. They are still out at the field with the team watching playoffs.

I felt like I was hit by freight train this morning.... my throat is so sore... and I have a huge bruise on my breast where I got punched.... she was a demon... PPD is nothing to play with...
Mike and I kept Mylee in our room last night... I gave KK a panic pill from Madison and it about knocked her out...which was good.....
she was very quiet this morning, like she knew something happened but she didn't know what... we didn't say a word... but I brought her her meds for PPD...
Whew... you talk about needed a beer!!!!!

She didn't even know what went on last night... I showed her my breast today... it is a huge bruise... she just looked stunned... she really didnt have a clue Steph... she was another person... scary...

Well... rather than napping Fred and I went to home depot and bought a bunch of stuff for our patio in the back yard. LeighAnn... your plants look WONDERFUL out there! Brenda - I cant wait till you can come and bring the trees and help me decide where to put them!! Its so peaceful and relaxing. I love it! Well... I REALLY need to go work on that stupid bonus plan. I have 2 days of training to do so its not getting done at work!! :o)

Oh dear, Leigh Ann; I'm sorry about Mack; hope she feels better soon...ear aches are fun anyway, but when you're traveling across country... I heard that Riverwalk is awesome (and the Alamo). I now have a cousin that lives in Texas; she just got a job in Galveston. She's on my mom's side of the fam. I also have a cousin on Dad's side that lives in Running Springs.. you ever heard of that?

Hey all...this afternoon I was at a friend's plant nurdery having a great day volunteering...then something terrible happened...an elderly lady stepped out on Hwy 67...it's a 2 lane hwy right in front of the nursery...a car hit her doing 55mph (the speed limit) it was awful...she was concious..and badly hurt...let's all say a prayer for her and her family
Now...on to something more cheerful...can't wait to hear how the Wrather's liked the basketball game!!

Yea, the guy stopped after hitting her...he almost lost control of his van trying to stop :( my friend got a blanket for her to keep her from going into shock and an ice pack for the huge bump on her head and another lady held her head in her lap...it was just awful and I'll never get her screams out of my head when she was hit :(
Morning Ladies! Brenda - how AWFUL! Poor woman! I seem to be having an alergic reaction to something... my top lip is swollen in 3 places... looks like botox gone bad!!! Hurts too...and I get to do training again all day and talk and talk and talk... ouch.

The kids have been so busy, I don't think they have had a chance to be sad.
After an ER visit (they sent us to PEDS) at Brooke Army Medical Center...she has both an external an internal ear infections bi-laterally! Can you imagine? I left with a sack of drugs:)
We are packing up and heading for Beaumont and then to Kentwood tomorrow. I am glad we split it up cause those long days kill me.
Tonight I am going to try and add some pictures and stuff!

You have to do what works for you.. sometimes it is not the "ideal" job that your mind is set for. .... but something that generates "self worth"... check with the schools.. a lot of times they need a helper with the certified teacher... which would mean benefits for you as well as what you want to do... :)

The thing with the schools though is, there's SO MANY teachers getting pink slips, that I don't know how stable that is right now.. I don't want to get a job and then be laid off soon after; and it's the stability that I want; if you guys read my blog, I believe that is my calling..to work with children.. I was actually thinking of getting back into a Klassic Kids this summer, if I don't get anything from the job fair today

...yes, sorry, I am just tunneling out. I am just on the wagon with Tina and Marci, working my tail off...I feel like it has been a day of progress; I got through a HUGE pile of stuff to be filed, lying on my bedroom floor (i.e., receipts, old statements to be filed, just plain old TRASH, etc.) And, got some new software loaded for work. Woohoo...I have noticed that things that make me say 'woohoo' are not as fun as they once were...pretty lame, I am! :)

Yes, it rained the hardest I have ever seen on Monday, for about 2 hours. I don't think we had any tornados around...I had to spend some more time on my patio, replanting my tender little potted annuals that had floated to the top of the saturated soil! Ahhh!! Other than that, it was nice to hear the rain on the roof. I love that...makes me want a nap, or just to lie in bed and read.
Yeah, me too. We don't get that much rain, but when we do get a lot, I love to listen to it with the window open

Steph, I work for a State Farm Agent, I've been here for 15 1/2 years and I am his top producer. He is one of the Top 12 Elite agents in the United States.. I also track production for our entire office which is 10 people in sales.

Me and the girls arrived around 4:30 and Leigh Ann was back to join us around 8ish...
Kathi, wait to you see the awesome pictures I took.... Mike opened the first sack of crawfish and there was a solid BLUE crawfish on top of the pack... the rest were bright red so he really stood out... oh, and he screamed the loudest!!! LOL
You would have though that our 8 girls grew up together.... they all bonded so well... Rayna was quiet but in an age group to herself so she and Mylee set off to cuddle each other most of the night!
I could go On On and ON.... we planned to leave there around 10 and head home and Mike had to drag me and Leigh Ann from each other around 1:15.... whoops....

For those of you in California, I know what you are missing in your life right now.. I have missed it for 16 years.. I got 5 hours tonight and will cherish that for years to come.... we are already planning the next boil!!!! this time crabs....
wanted to tell ya'll, not the typical table with newspaper... no one had tables... Paul and I dug in John Mark's shed (L.A.'s brother)... found 2 pieces of plywood... and looked to the side of the shed and found 2 table bases... and Paul and I made 2 tables!!! awesome...
Madison loved Paul... great conversations there!!!! she loved him.... and the gheco(spelling?)

They left Kentwood about 8:30 and at 11:15 were in Meridian Mississippi, they are probably due to arrive about 6 .m. in Tennessee...

Hey Marci - Fred and I played soccer last night and Brenda and Steve came out and watched. It was lots of fun!! I am glad you all got to enjoy LA and crew... we miss them alot!

they are 20 minutes from their house... they ae so excited to be ending their journey....

oh very cool updates Marci :) We just got home from Lakeside (inland) Steve and I were helping some friends at their plant nursery...I must get over and look at your pics Marci!!! Your night sounded really FUN :D Loved how you just open the shed and make do...That's Paul for sure LOL..glad the Wrather's are in Smyrna now!! that's funny about your Steph comment :) LOL ...ohhhhh fig tree!!!! When we lived in Pensacola when I was a kid we climbed our friends trees to pick the figs...and I ate them LOL luv it!! What a great place to nap..outside :) Today was alot of fun at the nursery..it's a dream come true for her..the nursery used to be her back yard..but then she moved it off site and it is WILD LOL and hokey...kooky ...and has pretty things too :) I can't imagine you have the energy to do anything after your night LOL...HUGS! Well...we're getting ready to go to Tina's ...so I'll check back :) I'm so happy for you Marci that you got to spend that time with Leighann and family...I could feel your energy through your comments :D

Well girls, they are here, and safe! I thought I would drop a quick update. We had a bite together and now they are chilling on my deck, while I get Ansley to bed...too much excitement for her, all of those new girls to boss around! :)
Marci, we heard all about their visit in Louisiana. They had a blast, and it was fun to hear, too!
