Thanks for letting everyone know we made it - it was drama central here for a while. It's weird cause now I am in the same time zone as Steph and not where I have lived the past two years.
That does sound weird. My parents and sister are in the same time zone as well; they're in Chicago right now for my mom's brother's (and his wife of course) 60th Anniversary party/brunch; it's today; they left yesterday and come home tomorrow

LA - Im glad ya'all made it to San Antonio. - Zach just found out he is an inch too short to be an MP in the Marines - so is gonna give college a try! THANK YOU JESUS for a short handsome kid!!! Oh... and he LOVES the card you guys sent! Its up on his dresser in his room! We will need a new address to send the thank you to!

LA - you are the only woman I know who can manage a mani/pedi in the middle of a cross country trek!!! I LOVE THAT ABOUT YOU!!! I so miss you already... *sigh*
Hey Leigh Ann, glad you made it to mid point, and are resting up! I went to get my nails done yesterday, the full deal, mani/pedi with white tips. I deviated from my normal and went to VIP instead (you know that little place down the street from your house, next door to Merle Norman?) and OMG....never, ever go there! It was horrible! I have been getting my nails done since I was 20 years old, and I have never had anyone cut me, but she actually cut me with that little tool they use to scuff your nail...it bled and bled. And she kind of giggled and said oh sorry, but I think she thought it was funny, that little bitch! And she charged me full price too! So, when you get back, you will have to come with me to Eva Nails in Murfreesboro. They are the best!
I ran only 11 miles last week. I will get my butt back on track this week.

Not only am I impressed with the pedi/fill, but that you can stay even on a cross country trek.. with eating nothing but restaurant food; I mean, I know you can order healthy things, but still, I would think the stress of driving cross country would be enough for someone to gain

Well girls got beat... (by the ref team dammnit) but they play tomorrow at t 10 - and then at 2 if they win. Zach's team needed a win to go on... and were playing the first place team. Needless to say - a win was not in the cards. So he is done and the girls go on. I am sunburned... hungry and my lips are chapped. LOL. We are off to take gramma and grampa to HTB for dinner. :o)

I had to go back on the other comments and catch up... Kathi, I have to go to the PT twice a week for about a month... soft tissue injury.. they make me do exercises then they zap my muscles for 15 minutes then they do a deep heat ultrasound... feels good... getting better after only 2 sessions....
Brenda glad the set up was easy and ya'll had a beautiful day at the fairgrounds...

Sad tonight... we had a meltdown here.... KK went balistic...I found out she has not been taking her Post Partum Depression meds...
I almost had to call the ambulance.. I ended up giving her 2 meds to calm her down.. Mike and I will Keep Mylee in our room... I am so scared.... her doctor is out of town for 2 weeks....
I tried to call a friend of hers to come and sleep with her....
please pray for her....

I did actually get out by the pool yesterday, girls! It was 87 degrees here. Loved it! The pool thermometer said it was 76 degrees, and I actually stuck a toe in there...closest I got to jumping in! :)

Brenda and Tina, it's good to hear what's going on in San Diego still...I have grown quite used to keeping up with goings on, so keep it coming! Doritos for dinner...that was cute, Brenda!! Don't laugh...I had a chicken breast wrapped in a lettuce leaf. I actually laughed when I looked at it, all alone on the plate! I actually put a spoonful of sour cream in there, it looked so barren and lonely! :)

Just got back from going out to a bar with a guy that I met online probably a year and a half ago...finally got up the courage to go out; went to Chasers in North Park; it was fun and it was actually pretty safe; they're a good bunch of people that CJ hangs out with, so I wasn't worried at all; but had my cell on JUST IN CASE. Going to bed now, so I can get up for Brenda...she's coming at 10...hope I get some sleep:);

Here's an online dating funny...My mom talked to a guy online for 6 months and then he surprised her by flying in one weekend from Illinois to see her. She said he had sent her several pictures and he was a handsome older guy, well built and tan...she went to pick him up at the airport and he saw him coming out of the terminal...and he was 5 feet, 4 inches! My mom is 5 feet, 7 inches...she said she was totally turned off...I laughed my butt off listening to her tell that story!
