Hi Everyone - Happy Monday:( I am trying to keep things in perspective - learn from what worked and didn't work from last week and move on! Hence, Buddha's quote for the week!
I'm trying to keep that in mind... and I have an appt. with vascular on wednesday, so hopefully i'll get to the bottom of what's going on, if anything.
Yes, I may detox for three days...trying to see if I have enough stuff from last time I did it! I need to kick some butt! Yes, Kathy stay positive and keep us positive.
Leighann and Tina...it's a kick butt kinda week...love your thigh report LOL
I, too, am detoxing...I guess, that's what it is..for dinner this week..it's salad with chicken...lunches are side sald with a frozen smart ones...I have to work alot of hours this week so it just kind of worked that way for food...
I also feel like I may be on the verge of maybe cold/flu...I sure hope not...we'll see!!!!!
HUGS to all the blog buddies...I'm thinking of you :)
Kathi, Best wishes! When I was 20 I had Deep Vein Thrombosis (DVT) - blood clot in my main vein of my left leg where the vein enters the torso. I've been on blood thinner ever since (with vein scarring and a couple of other clot scares). Turns out it is genetic. I'm going to talk to my kids pediatrician to see if they can be tested. Hang in there. You are doing the best thing you can possibly do - getting healthy & exercising.
Well Leigh Ann, I think if you can quit smoking... you can do ANYTHING! So you just smile pretty lady, cuz you are AWESEOME and have way more will power than you are crediting yourself with!
Thanks Tina...although I was a lot skinner back in the day when I lived off ultra lights and diet cokes, ugh - yuck! Brenda, hope your hectic weak goes by quickly, good job on preparing all of your meals! I hope your not getting sick! I do have some of my detox shakes left over from my endocrinologist's reset program...I am going to use them as a few meal replacements this week and see how it goes. Hitting the gym hard!
wrightcrew, that is/was EXACTLY where mine is/was; that's funny (but not really, obviously); it's ironic that the one thing they tell me to do is hurting me...walking; do you have to wear a support "sock" on that leg? that's another thing he told me to do but don't
You guys are funny! And right - if you can quit smoking I'm confident in your strength!
Kathi- I HATE the stockings and never wear them. Although I did for the first couple of years under jeans in the winter. Pretty much now I only wear them when I'm on a plane (and usually grab an ailse set and make myself go to the restroom for some extra movement). I'd say it actually took a year or so to get back to doing stuff w/o the pain. And the leg is slightly larger than the other because of the pooling that happens sometimes. But not noticible to others. Just me and my microscope! Angela
yeah, me too angela; about all of what you said...the stocking are embarrassing to wear, that's why i don't; purely out of vanity; did i learn something from this though....UH, YEAH!!! don't just lie in bed when you're sick (that's how, i think, i got it in the first place...cuz no one in the family's had one)...course, my smoking probably doesn't help matters much....lol
i've smoked on and off for a couple of years now...it's something that my family did that caused me a considerate amount of stress that got me started; everything's fine now though
Hey everyone, I have been in therapy sessions with Leigh Anne today! Thanks Leigh Anne, I did not loose anything, I have been stressed out with a PG teenager and everything that goes with it, and have eaten everything that she has craved and then some and drank Coors Lites on top of that..... will be looking at a new tomorrow... I need to stay out of the black hole...... Marci
Marci, You are welcome...but you helped me today just as much:) What a inspiration you are to me - you did it! I Understand your frustration and wish I lived closer - I mean I am going to be a great aunt! I am regrouping...I printed out the "workout over 40" and I am starting that today. I have come to the conclusion that I will drink miller lite and eat out on the weekends (during the week I do really good) so, if I am to continue - I must increase my workout A LOT! Remember earlier, when I talked about being arrogant...that's me! I have never had a weight problem that couldn't be fixed quickly. IT IS KILLING ME THAT I CAN'T SEE MORE RESULTS AND HUMBLING AT THE SAME TIME! I am over 40...my doc has already warned me that it could be 6 - 12 months for my metabolism to increase even with a "normal" TSH...I love to eat and out...so, I must work out harder and smarter! I realize these things... And it still pisses me off! Sending lots of hugs your way!
I feel like crap...when I don't feel well....I EAT so I have had peanut m&ms today to comfort myself...Leighann...you got it...work around what you want to keep in your life :) And I too, will do the same... WOMEN RULE!!
I did my Walk/Jog/Run today! AND with the weights. Did more power walking than anything else... as my legs are STILL sore from Soccer friday. You would think i wouldnt get sore anymore... oh well. Did increase the water intake, but not enough. I will keep working at it. Happy Anniversary Leigh Ann and Paul!!
WTG Tina :0 Some of the girls at work have been powerwalking but I tend to walk with the leisure crowd...I think I'm going to jump ship and try it out :)
Thanks Brenda & Tina! Brenda, Let us know if you jump ship...too funny. Tina, Nice day working out Tina! I just got back from the gym...I am so hungry I could eat...everything!
ok... i ate... a HOT LINK. yes... on a bun. And oh god i wanted chips... but had a side salad instead... and a hard boiled egg. Now i will go drink a freaking gallon of water so i dont feel hungry anymore. I hate this shit. LOL
it could be worse ladies!!!! LOL come to my house..... a husband who would rather be hunting, a 19 year old who knows everything, a pregnant 17 year old, a 7 year old on zoloft for anxiety... and a 6 year old that will be your buddy and tell you everything is OK adn you look great "sugar mama"...... think about the Proud Family... sugar mama is really BIG!!!! LOL my hero a 6 year old with great hopes.....
Can I just tell you... my son says "mom, just have the stupid chips. you only live once... be happy!" I said... i wont be happy as a flabby 147... now.. a FIRM 147.. YES. And off to do crunches! hehe
yes, she is my hero.... all her aches and pains and everything she goes thru, (she has a blood disorder and joint disorder, she always looks to the positive).. she is a trooper and an inspiration to everyone in her life!
Wow, Marci - I had no idea...I have to do a better job keeping in touch now! I am with Kathy, what an inspiration she is! I love the Proud family and you are not sugar mama. I guess we should get our oldest ones together and let figure out world peace, why not all of the worlds problems - cause they are smart...asses!! LOL Tina, way to say no to the chips! and yes to the crunches!
yes, I would love for them to all have a big huge slumber party, with yes, Paw Paw, he would absolutely love it.....
I am so glad everyone is doing such a great job!!!! Go Girls.... Continue to let everyone know what works for you, and hopefully a little info will help everyone.
Thanks to all (hopefully will meet ya'll 1 day) Marci
I think we should all be 6year olds with amazing outlooks!
Well, I went out for 2.5 mi during lunch today. I adopted the 'use gravity for good approach'. I only ran downhill. I power walked the other parts to keep my heart rate up. The only thing gravity has done for me lately it to make things sag (like my butt)! I had forgotten my healthy lunch and managed to stick to my guns in the cafeteria only to just now scarf down two handfulls of wild oats mini-choc chip cookies. (It's all hubby's fault - he opened the container.)
I used up all my 'you only live once' points by using that as a justification for the beemer. I am now going to go put in a dvd and exercise AGAIN!!
LOL...I love it Angela, nice BMW, though! And over two miles at lunch - nice. I know I could just hang out with Dailen (my five y/o), they are just incredible at that age...and then they become teenagers and all hell breaks lose.
I can identify with your cookie scarfing...Paul grilled Salmon which he served with spring squash and onions along with a spinach walnut salad w/ a orange vinaigrette dressing (he zested his own organge), nice glass of red wine...I just scarfed a handful of m&m's damn it! Would have been more, but I finished off the bag!
Hmmm Leighann what a nice anniversary dinner :) Love that he zested his orange LOL..
I'm stepping aside so the runners can go by ;) Angela...
Good luck tomorrow Kathi on your walk :)
great job to Tina too!!
Marci...amazing about your sweet 6year old...you deserve all good in life, for what you go through :D
And me..I need a bath and bed...I have fever in my eyeballs...very odd...I didn't get in any exercise today....didn't feel good, worked late, then went off to a class tonight....and tonight I had lots of sugar too :(
LOL...at least we can say ...we give the best hugs :D
I think Paul is wonderful for cooking that beautiful dinner for you! My husband would think zesting an orange involves washing it with the shower soap (just kidding..we don't use Zest) :)
Love my girls. Another great day in the marathon of health and fitness!
It was a wonderful dinner! Marci, She's right, you deserve only good things... Brenda, I hope you aren't getting sick...and what a Monday you had to deal with - so busy! Stephanie, Zest...I remember that soap, LOL!
Heres to a fantastic Tuesday! I plan to walk/jog/run and do core today. We will see how it pans out. Easy to say at 6:30 in the morning from my desk at work... LOL
LOL...I hear you Tina...great plans are made in front of the computer monitor LOL
I have the fluuuuuuuu it went into my back, ya know the aches...luckily, motrin will take care of that..I do have the gym scheduled in for today...I'll walk on the treadmill and do floor stuff ..that's about all I can do ...it's a another busy day night..all good though :) off I go to bum some motrin off somebody here at work
Brenda, hope you find that motrin...I am going to do cardio, and legs today. Then core and stretching...I am following the over 40 workout suggestions and when I have it all done I will share how I have incorporated it all.
Thank you! No, no luck but I have a doc appt at 11am for RX refills anyway...must get motrin!! Yes Leighann share what you find out...I saw a pic of an excercise and I can't figure out how it works..even based on the intructions on how to do it...maybe you gals can find it...it's in the latest prevention magazine and it's called the tricep pushup...
that was my deleted post...I sort of just rambled..so I deleted it...basically..went to the doc for a routine BP refill...bottom line...BP is up...need to be serious now on the weight loss
Dang, I've missed so much.... I wish Mike would "zest an orange" for me... sounds kinky!!! LOL
Appointments all day.... ultrasound showed none other than "girl".... and yes, already marathon shopped today... CRAZY... my husband said he wanted a boy to save on shopping sprees!!!
Had a great day, lots of walking, lifted the spirits.... going to do my strength training tonight.. :) Ya'll are all amazing! truely an inspiration.... I love this blog!
Kathi, LMAS - monthly annoyance...yeah, mine is on the way! Brenda, that stinks about the high BP...more motivation! Did he give you any pointers/programs? Marci, yah for the baby girl! Sounds like a fun day...poor Mike, he's like Paul and Brenda's husband, Steve - living with a house full of girls - aren't they lucky. If I adopted right now, I would adopt a girl! Off to work out - Mackenzie had a dental appt. so, I haven't been yet. I am waiting for Paul to finish his work out and then my turn.
Brenda - bummer about the BP. I'm sure the heathly changes will help prevent #3.
I don't have prevention mag, but often do tricep push-ups. They hurt my formerly broken (by soccer) wrist though. It's basically bearing your body weight like a backwards pushup (hence it hurting my wrist). Can you repeat the description or have you figured it out?
Kathi/Leigh Ann A quick peek at the scale this morning reminded me that it's about that time as well. Typically you could build a bridge over me due to all the H20 retention!
Tina - I don't think Fred has a physiological explanation for that!
Plus I won't get home until after 730p tonight and didn't feel like getting out of bed to exercise this morning. I hope we don't have chocolate at home or it's all over! Angela
thank heaven for Hysterectomies... 2 years ago for me, the best thing ever!!! just water retention 24/7... bummer..... Ladies, ask your doctors for a fluid pill to take 2 days before and 2 days after, you would be amazed, it takes away the bloated feeling and the "uglies" to everyone in the house.... LOL
Marci, Brenda mentioned the water pill to me the other day...my next appt is in FEB for my thryroid and I am not leaving without them:) Thank you both. Kathi, Don't do anything drastic:)
Hi all! Did my walk/jog/run... without the run. ha. added a few jumping jacks tho. My knees hurt so doing more walking than running/jogging. but boy I can walk FAST... lol.
Subway sandwich for dinner with a glass of milk. :O) YAAY! Have a great night everyone!
Well... they get the ole heart rate up. I walk for warm up... then power walk with some jumping jacks or jog to sprint to jog ... then walk for cool down. Jumping jacks arent as hard on my knees.
Thanks to all :) I'm gonna take the BP 2x day so I can have better readings to give the doc....if need be
years ago Leighann introduced me to ediets...and it was then, I had made changes...some of them stick with me to this day (even though I have packed the weight back on) the changes that stuck with me was the whole wheat bread, knocking out the red meat to rarely eating it..rarely eating egg yolks, fat free sour cream, fat free cheese and healthy choice luncheon meats...
I'm thankful to have kept up with those changes...they are engrained in me..NOW, I want the exercise and the rare sweet tooth to be engrained in me :D they are the life changes that need to be done!!!
Thank you all for this blog's success and comfort in our daily struggles :)
cute story to share...a friend of mine (in her seventies) had sloppy joes for the first time, last night, and liked them...I was also with her the first time she wore jeans (or to her DUNGAREES)...
BTW...I make mine with ground turkey sausage...less fat than ground turkey even
got to work and paniced (ohhh how do you spell that)...I had forgot my Cheerios...and my grapes!!!!!!! I had my banana and pretzels...now looking at my apple LOL
Angela, I had my daughter look at the tricep pushup and she did it for me to see....I may be able to do that one since the regular push ups and the modified are too hard for me to get right now
we are eating out for a coworkers b'day today.... UGGGGG.... so hard..
I ordered the grilled shrimp with lump crabmeat, a salad.... grilled veggies on the side... I'm sure I will have to eat a bite of stuffed potato.... :( and :) on my 2nd 32 oz of water for the day....
go girls!!! Brenda way to get all the fruits in! that's awesome....
I have so much trouble trying to plan the meals and make sure everything is fresh.... and stays fresh....
Marci, Brenda is so organized - she brought me veggies and salad stuff this past Sunday! Now, that's a friend. Nice job with the water and ordering out SUCKS - it's my biggest downfall - that and the beer I order with it. LOL Shitty day today, down in the dumps, I am sure I will feel better in a few days - if you know what I mean! I will be seeing Kathi later, so that will help. Stephanie, Where are you? Tina and Angela, Hope work is going well. Mandy & Heidi, Chime in girls, we need you. Crystal, Hope your week is going well!
aww, thanks leigh ann; i'm glad that i can cheer you up a bit; i feel like shit today too, or at least right now; i think i'm gonna go for a little walk before getting ready for my appt.
hope this passes real quick for you Leighann and Kathi!!! hugs for you both! Marci...drink on..Mmmm your lunch sounded soooo very yummy! It's hard to keep the fruits and veggies if everyone in the house isn't eating them...then they go bad...I'm finding that if I open up the veggies in the crisper drawer and not wrap them in those plastic bags..they stay fresher...I just figured that one out...the salads...I spin them dry after rinsing, then put them in a ziplock with a papertowel and they stay fresher that way :D
THAT'S A GREAT IDEA BRENDA, THANKS... I THINK I WILL TRY PICKING UP A FEW THINGS EVERY OTHER DAY.... IT'S MY KIDS EAT EVERYTHING THE SAME DAY SOMETIMES, WHICH IS GREAT, BUT BAD FOR ME....
KATHI AND LEIGH ANN, HOPEFULLY YOUR RED HEADED FRIEND WILL BE KINDER TOMORROW...... MY BOSS CALLS IT, "FALLING OFF THE ROOF"..... HE IS A TRIP! LOL
uh.....red headed FRIEND? I DON'T THINK SO...lol; i can say this though, i don't feel like ripping out my Os and u today, or right now, at least......you know if i'm back on later and i'm screaming more than usual, then it'll be time to get the scissors
Hi all... just a crummy very very busy day. Leigh Ann... its like last friday! Had egg, oatmeal bar and some cashues for lunch/bkfast with a coke zero. Now... water, water water, with an occassional water. :o)
Sorry I have been out of the loop today. It's kind of been bad here too. Just stuff constantly happening. It's like, row, row, row, but sometimes you just want to put the dang oars down and just BREATHE...
I hope you feel better. I will call you in a bit, and your Tennessee friends love you lots.
Thanks Stephanie! Tina, ...and the occasional water, lol, have you bought your new dress yet? Marci, "falling off the roof" is by the far, the best description I have heard in a long time!
My boss, God look after his soul, works with 9 women, he has known a few for at least 10 years, and the rest of us more than that... he has watched me (age 23, with a 2 year old and a 9 month old).... grow into a woman, ups and downs at battle, get married, have children, and yes, "fall off of the roof" and finally have a hysterectomy, which he says, "is the best thing that can happen to a woman!!!" ha.... we give him hell.... he just turned 63, and he has earned every year from the woman he works with!!! LOL
girls, we are at a turning point, this is getting us ready for our next weekly battle.... one day at a time....
OOOOOhhhhh, and grandbaby is a little girl!!!!!! Mylee June Spears!!!!!
hey ladies..wow lots going on with everyone!! This is my first night off in 6 days..I am pooped!! I have been taking in boiled eggs to work and having a 3am snack good protein to finish out the morning!! i had two diet dr peppers and yes a REAL COKE I know I suck, but i was soooooooooooooooo tired this morning. Leigh Ann- i got the gift from nana last night
LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and that is the first outfit she has gotten of her very own in a big girl size!!!!!!!!!! Thank you so much praying for quick paperwork!!
I'm hoping you all have a better rest of the week...you have certainly earned it :D
I didn't have a bad day but a vry odd one thanks to my own...after working late, I forgot to get gas..arrived at the lake on fumes!! had the hardest 6 mile ride I have ever had...dud...the air was pretty much gone in both tires ...then was having a GREAT conversation with my husband on the cell phone as we were both stuck in traffic both coming home from our workouts..phone dies, dammit...forgot to charge it...LOL...all in a day :D thanks all for the laughs through the haze
I can tell its hump day... tomorrow BETTER be better. Got off work, went to zach's game - we won 4 to 1. Took my parents to dinner as its my moms birthday. She wanted hometown buffet... and i unfortunately ate ... and ate... and ate. :-) I did have a salad! lol. No work out... as im too full... hahaha. Tomorrow its an extra 1/2 hour of cardio!!! It might kill me... but if it doesnt... gaining weight this weekend WILL!! LoL.
Now for desert... can every one say it with me?? WATER!!! whoo hoo!
Marci, I would love to meet your boss, he sounds like a hoot! Have you seen a "diaper cake" - I made one for Stephanie's shower - too fun! I have pics... Crystal, I thought you were working three nights a week? I am glad you like Savannah's gift...me and Tori wanted the perfect outfit for the shoes - I love them! Brenda, That sucks about your ride, I know you were looking forward to it...today was something else! Tina, So, you sacrificed one for the team and had dinner at HTB...you were a great daughter! And, you continue to amaze me with the water. Glad Zach won! Me on the otherhand...didn't workout, Rayna having a LOCKDOWN at her school pretty much sealed my day as one of my worst in a long time. On a more positive note...yesterday when I went to the library I found my favorite all time book on Henry VIII, the first time I read it I was in highschool. So, I will be reading it later tonight and as Tina put it, tomorrow BETTER be better. Oh, yes, tonight, Dailen came home with her science club "stuff" - two worms that she has named Hope and Loveable! Thanks!
Hello Ladies! Guess what I wound up having for dinner last night?! 2 CADBURY CHOCOLATE bars w/Almonds! Yes, I know - 2. I stopped at CVS for some medicine, completely avoided the chocolate isle only to find a special display right next to what I ran in there for. And yes, they jumped right off the shelf and into the basket all by themselves! Can you believe that! :o)
Well, I've done WW for so long now, I know it's not a big deal. I just passed on dinner (was full anyway), hit the water and spent most of the Biggest Loser peddling the new exercise bike. My HRM said I burned about half the choc calories I just consumed.
Only bummer was that I was saving extras for tomorrow night. It is my monthly Drunko (Bunko)group. Guess I'll have to chew gum the whole time. Went running today and will probably go do something cardio again shortly.
Angela, LMAS...2, yes, they should really put a fence around those little guys and keep them out of our baskets! I was almost safe, in my jammies, in my bed with my laptop and here comes Mackenzie with a late b-day gift someone gave her...two stuffed animals and a bag of valentine choc! Yes, I unfoiled one of those babies in record time and popped it into my mouth! I, however, will not be doing any cardio...I have spent the day on my pitty potty and will be back with it tomorrow.
well, went to the doctor today (yesterday) and my leg is fine...no clot; so the pain and swelling is most likely from the walking :)..... i did manage to go for a little walk before getting ready to go to the doctor....i'm ready to take out my Os and u again though
That is funny about the worms! Dailen cracks me up! You could not have paid me to touch an earthworm at that age. Even now, it would have to be a LOT of money! :)
Jonathan came in from school to tell me he has to have miniature animals and a fence to build a shoebox farm scene for social studies, which is due TOMORROW!!! Teacher told him on last Friday, and whoops, he forgot. I swear, he's hitting his teenage absentmindedness WAY early. Where would we all be without that constant urgency factor with our kids!
Marci, congratulations on the baby. What a pretty name! I love to hear new baby names. Nicole Richie named her girl Harlow Winter. I think that's gorgeous!
Oh oh no about the chocolate, ladies! Well, one piece occasionally won't hurt. I wish I could indulge, but I would swell up like a puffer fish (ALLERGIC!) Haven't had any since an ER visit at age 9, except when my mother-in-law forced a sliver of red velvet cake upon me once. I had a huge fat lip and malar rash for a week. Coincidental? I think not! Guess I should have known! :)
Leigh Ann, I have to take my computer in to StoneCrest for some security updates today. They say it will take all day, so I am on the laptop! Yay for downtime!
I love that everybody is settling into this weight loss thing, and realizing that every day is not going to be perfect with the food intake, but we are compensating with exercise and Crystal, water, lots of water!!! :)
I wish it wasn't going to be so cold today. I would take my shoes to the track around the hospital and run. It is supposed to snow here! Guess it's back to my "wheel"!
How funny you all are! I am wetting my pants in Louisiana! Wish I could meet all of you.
Steph, never trust a M.I.L. mine plans every minute of my misery!! LOL
Kathi, so glad it wasn't a clot in your leg.
And sounds like all of our children give us a run for our money and sanity is some form or another!
L.A. send me some of those pictures of the diaper cake, I printed some off of the internet, her shower will be black/pink.. stripes and polka dots... I will attempt to make one.. may need some moral support and feedback. :)
I'm going to float my teeth today Tina~ will drink lots of water...Steph, you are so lucky to have an allergy to chocolate...you and Marci cracked me up on the MIL comments :D
Yes, Leighann...tomorrow is Friday and I am sooo very excited!!!!!!
Kathi..glad to hear your good :D
I'm up for my personal challenges this weekend...it's a rough one but will cut out the stuff my body doesn't like....the caffeine and nicoteine gum...going going...I'm going to be rehabbing as an INPT this weekend...you can reach me at the House on Dauntless (my house)...I'll get passes to go outside and exercise though...as funny as I make it sound...it really isn't but I'm going to keep the spirits up because this is a hard one for me...BP is just too high :(
Brenda, I didnt know you were chewing the nicotine gum! I am glad you are getting rid of that! Is so bad for you... I will cross my fingers and say a prayer for your BP!
Brenda, did your doctor say that the nicotene gum can cause your BP to elevate? I may have missed that if you talked about that...
This blog could definitely be a movie..... oh, and Steph... my MIL is 5 foot even also...... and a damn mean hornet, to me and my children.... just hateful..... I have chosen to remove her from the scenery in my life!!! LOL it's her loss....
Good husband, bad mother in law bad husband, good mother in law
Marci, Too funny! I have a great mother in law this time around, also! Have met Stephanies and she's no joke!:) Brenda, thinking of you and I will see you this weekend.
Wow! Allergic to chocolate - I think that has to be both a blessing and a curse.
Teeth Float!! LMAO! Tina, how do you do that so early in the morning?? Even if I am up, it's sure not a pretty thing.
You guys are never going to believe what I just found out! My male co-workers have been singing the Rocky theme each day I've gone out jogging during lunch as I pass the windows(my office is by the windows). F'ers! They are TOAST! I don't know how yet - but TOAST!
Brenda- hang in there and chuck the gum replace it with sex ...fun and good excercise!!!
Marci congrats on your grand girl her name is too cute!! Is june after someone?? that is my Nana's middle name and I think is is darling!!
I also have been floating my teeth, but my bladder is feeling the pain!!
awh well no pain no gain!1
Leigh ann I love the shoes!! how are you today??? oh I am working three nights but I changed my schedule from thurs, fri, sat to sun, mon, tues so they kinda ran togther this week. I am off til sun night at 11pm.
hope everyone is having a great day!!
Stecph did you enjoy the snow last night? So pretty but useless school was not cancelled :)
Crystal, it was a huge disappointment not to wake up to a mound of snow, pushing against our door, at least to my child. Took me forever to get him going this morning. He had his mind set on bumming today. I never pray for snow...ick! Unless I have booked a snowskiing excursion. I would love to go skiing; haven't been since I was 19!
Well, the brain-trust here at work will live to see another day. Between getting stuff done and my ump-teen trips to the bathroom because I went thru 3L of water, they got a reprieve. Now I need to swing by the bathroom AGAIN and go stand at a cold soccer field, hand out the boy's all star uniforms and PRAY that I do not have to go to the port-a-pottie! Wish me luck!
(I'm whining about the cold and you guys are in snow. Sorry bout that!)
good job today ladies...tina, i'm floating my teeth right now
i just got done with my mile walk; my resource counselor says that it's really starting to show in the back that I'm losing weight...NO IF I CAN GET THAT TO SHOW IN THE FRONT!!!!!!! any suggestions?????
Yes, the baby's middle name is after Paw Paw June... Leigh Ann's dad and Katelynne's Paw Paw. Ha, Leigh Ann will be a great aunt again!!!! You are getting old girl...... but at least not a Maw Maw yet.... I need to keep quiet...
I would love to see snow, how wonderful that would be....very seldom in Louisiana as well.
Everyone is doing great, and we definitely have good spirits and good senses of humor.
i have to ask......IT'S KILLING ME!! how are you all, if you are, related to Britney? i think leigh ann's her aunt (?).... not sure how though i'm sorry for bringing it up, but it's just killing me
Wow...great day for water, I see...I go to the dentist tomorrow...wonder if she'll see my teeth floating too LOL
Sorry guys for the snow or lack of..
Kathi...you're awsome...up to a mile now :) never go back!!
Tina...I think that big exercise ball has ab work outs...I just don't know what kind to do on it...I'd google it
I'm drinking caffeine free diet coke now :) and tomorrow will await to a chew of extra gum LOL..It's going to be a transition but...I'll do whatever it takes...and Kathi, the sex part..I'll do that too LOL..
Great job Brenda, i know how hard it is, quit almost 9 years ago, and miss it sometimes, not every day though... you get into a routine....
yes Kathi, Britney is Leigh Ann and My niece..... she just needs some prayers from everyone.... just searching for love like everyone at that age.... just in the spot light and it makes it worse....
Chew that gum girl.... think about licking an ashtray every time you want a cig.. it really does help.. .think about the ashes on your tongue.. gross... it helps....
brenda, it all depends on how i'm feeling...that kind of determines how far i walk. marci, ty for answering my question...i will pray for her; and you're right, all she needs is love right now and a lot of prayers.....it does make it worse that she's in the spotlight...i think she needs to come home, away from all that
Good Morning Everyone! Just catching up on the posts...they are too funny. I think I need to drink more water and I haven't worked out in two days! Had to go to the emergency room yesterday afternoon, really bad anxiety attack, along with some depression mixed in for good measure, not sure where that came from...the anxiety has been around a few years, but, any hoo - going to try and get my act together today. Thanks to Brenda who met me at the ER - I appreciate it and love you bunches.
Leigh Ann, my 7 year old has been having anxiety and panic attacks for 3 years now, its so scary... I will say some prayers for you... I know how she gets and its difficult to understand. Tell me if I am too nosey, but, are you on a daily prescription??? maybe think about that... Madison is on zoloft, they just increased her recently to 75 mg... which is alot for a child, but she can function...
good morning everyone....eating cheerios and grapes right now...with a diet coke...then will drink water the rest of the work day....I have a frozen meal, etaname and cut up vegies for lunch....
Leighann...good morning and glad to see you sign in :) you are a trooper
Happy Friday everyone! Once again - here is to the drink of QUEENS... WATER!!! LOL. Hey... tonight after soccer there will be ONE beer... as I have save all alcohol consumption for this one occassion. :o)
Leigh Ann... call me if you need anything, Im glad Brenda was there for you!
Thanks everyone, I was on Lexapro for a couple of years and then took myself off of it...thought I was ok...obviously not, they recommended Zoloft instead of Lexapro, so I am going to do some research before my first appointment. Marci, any info on it that you could give would be great. I feel ok today, just ashamed and embarrassed, wihed I would have just sucked it up until it passed instead of going to the ER, but, just couldn't do it. Going to go back to bed and try to rest.
Leigh Ann, Believe me, I research, b/c it wasn't me, it was my child, and zoloft is the best thing to be on.... it doesn't have as many side effects as the others... Don't be embarrassed, it is nothing you can help... They told me that someone is born with anxiety and panic attacks and different life changes/situations is what makes it rear its ugly head.... please don't be ashamed... Madison was in a fetal position for 4 months not going anywhere or doing anything.. throwing up on herself, wetting herself, just so I would have to stay home with her... she was scared of any change in her life... you would NEVER know, if you see her now... she has completely bloomed.. still has some struggles but not near what she was doing.... You HAVE to get help, don't ever think it will just go away and wait it out... You did the right thing by going to the ER.... call or write me anytime, I wish I could just give you a big HUG... Love you! Marci
What a great place to get such positve and encouraging support...Leighann ..you taught me not to be embarressed about anxiety when it pops up :) Because, I too, have had ups and down because of it :D there...so you are not publiclly alone..Marci shared her daughter's story, I shared mine....you are soooo not alone...and even if there was nobody here to have gone through it....there are so many compassionate people around you...feel good about that...and you will...sleep well and...BTW...I'm not licensened...have know idea what the hell I have to back up anything I say LMAO..
Brenda, Thank you for coming out of the closet with me:) Marci, Thank you for sharing and I will give the Zoloft a try. Tina, Thanks for the blog hug! I will see you at the Soccer field.
That would be very funny about the punching!!! hehehe...gosh the visual is cracking me up...
well I was bad...I ate a cheese quessadilla....AND my lunch...oh my...I did have one caffinated diet coke BUT no bad chew here :D sugarfree gum is what I have here and I do share...wanna piece ___ I'm kind of in a give/take mode with myself right now as I pass through the detox phase of nicoteine in the system...
Leigh Ann, you have another "closet exiter" here...I have HORRIBLE anxiety; I don't have to take daily medication for it now, thank goodness, but when it does rear its ugly head (like when we had the fires in October...and my parents were a MANDATORY evacuation; they wouldn't have gotten to reverse 911 call because their phone was off the hook - I had to call my sister at 3am to get her ass up there and get 'em..they live in RB) I take Nortriptyline (sp?) and it calms me way down. So, now when there's a major crisis like that, my family's motto for me is TAKE A PILL!! NOOOOO; it was a good call when you went to the ER...who knows what could've happened if you would've not gone
greetings all....hope the soccor game is/went great for the home team...Kathi....you rock! didn't work out tonight...I did wonder aimlessly though LOL went to buy sneakers..
to the Marci, Angela,Steph,Crystal wishing you a healthy weekend!!
I still don't get this thing. I left a comment on my own Blog trying to address everyone...about a walk on Saturday for example. Is this where I leave my weight? Well I ate my oatmeal and then did a poop and I weighed in at 125.2 which was a relief since I was 128 last night after dinner. also my walking miles are not exact but I did at least 3 miles m-f....i know I did more but those were quick paced and squeezing butt cheeks with each step:>)

Hi Everyone - Happy Monday:(
I am trying to keep things in perspective - learn from what worked and didn't work from last week and move on! Hence, Buddha's quote for the week!
I'm trying to keep that in mind... and I have an appt. with vascular on wednesday, so hopefully i'll get to the bottom of what's going on, if anything.
Happy Monday!
Heres to kickin butt and taking no thigh prisoners!!! hahaha
Yes, I may detox for three days...trying to see if I have enough stuff from last time I did it! I need to kick some butt!
Yes, Kathy stay positive and keep us positive.
Well, Im just gonna keep doing what I do... hard boiled egg and nuts for lunch, solid dinner, and increase water this week. Hopefully that will help.
Gosh, Kathi...that is very scary!! Be well soon!!
Yes, the water should help and if I could just have a little will power on the weekends, I would be a lot better off.
Kathi,
Best wishes!
Yes... my Marlboro and Coke days kept me in a size 6! Well... heres to a healthy size 8. :o)
LMAS...here here!
wrightcrew, that is/was EXACTLY where mine is/was; that's funny (but not really, obviously); it's ironic that the one thing they tell me to do is hurting me...walking; do you have to wear a support "sock" on that leg? that's another thing he told me to do but don't
I would have never known!
That Angela and Kathi both shared this...and how long have you smoked, Kathi? That is news to me.
i've smoked on and off for a couple of years now...it's something that my family did that caused me a considerate amount of stress that got me started; everything's fine now though
Hey everyone,
I have been in therapy sessions with Leigh Anne today!
Marci
Marci,
You are welcome...but you helped me today just as much:) What a inspiration you are to me - you did it!
Sending lots of hugs your way!
on a happier note :)
Happy Anniversary to Leighann and Paul!!
I feel for you Marci....been there and am there
I feel like crap...when I don't feel well....I EAT so I have had peanut m&ms today to comfort myself...Leighann...you got it...work around what you want to keep in your life :) And I too, will do the same...
LOL
I don't know what is worse, going thru this or being overweight...
KEEP GOING TINA...YOU CAN DO THIS BABE...YOU TOO LEIGH ANN; whoever said life is a bowl of cherries needs to be seriously shot!!!
or
i should be the one who needs to be shot since i just had mcdonalds for dinner...but I AM WALKING TOMORROW; DON'T CARE IF THE FRICKIN LEG FALLS OFF
Happy Anniversary, Leigh Ann and Paul
it could be worse ladies!!!!
LOL
come to my house..... a husband who would rather be hunting, a 19 year old who knows everything, a pregnant 17 year old, a 7 year old on zoloft for anxiety... and a 6 year old that will be your buddy and tell you everything is OK adn you look great "sugar mama"......
think about the Proud Family... sugar mama is really BIG!!!! LOL my hero a 6 year old with great hopes.....
Marci
Can I just tell you... my son says "mom, just have the stupid chips. you only live once... be happy!" I said... i wont be happy as a flabby 147... now.. a FIRM 147.. YES. And off to do crunches! hehe
sorry for rough times, marci; your 6 yr old would be my hero too; i'm sure your older ones are pretty great too
thanks girl!
yes, she is my hero.... all her aches and pains and everything she goes thru, (she has a blood disorder and joint disorder, she always looks to the positive).. she is a trooper and an inspiration to everyone in her life!
Love
Marci
then she IS a hero if she can go thru all that and still be positive; she probably has a greater appreciation of life, even though she's only 6
Wow, Marci - I had no idea...I have to do a better job keeping in touch now! I am with Kathy, what an inspiration she is! I love the Proud family and you are not sugar mama. I guess we should get our oldest ones together and let figure out world peace, why not all of the worlds problems - cause they are smart...asses!! LOL
Tina, way to say no to the chips! and yes to the crunches!
yes, I would love for them to all have a big huge slumber party, with yes, Paw Paw, he would absolutely love it.....
I am so glad everyone is doing such a great job!!!! Go Girls....
Continue to let everyone know what works for you, and hopefully a little info will help everyone.
Thanks to all
(hopefully will meet ya'll 1 day)
Marci
Marci,
She's right, you deserve only good things...
Brenda,
I hope you aren't getting sick...and what a Monday you had to deal with - so busy!
Stephanie,
Zest...I remember that soap, LOL!
Heres to a fantastic Tuesday! I plan to walk/jog/run and do core today. We will see how it pans out. Easy to say at 6:30 in the morning from my desk at work... LOL
LOL...I hear you Tina...great plans are made in front of the computer monitor LOL
I have the fluuuuuuuu it went into my back, ya know the aches...luckily, motrin will take care of that..I do have the gym scheduled in for today...I'll walk on the treadmill and do floor stuff ..that's about all I can do ...it's a another busy day night..all good though :)
off I go to bum some motrin off somebody here at work
rock on sisters!
Brenda, hope you find that motrin...I am going to do cardio, and legs today. Then core and stretching...I am following the over 40 workout suggestions and when I have it all done I will share how I have incorporated it all.
Brenda - I hope you feel better!
Leigh Ann - YOU GO GIRL!!! You are my HERO!!!
Thank you! No, no luck but I have a doc appt at 11am for RX refills anyway...must get motrin!!
Yes Leighann share what you find out...I saw a pic of an excercise and I can't figure out how it works..even based on the intructions on how to do it...maybe you gals can find it...it's in the latest prevention magazine and it's called the tricep pushup...
sounds paunful, brenda; and I didn't go for my walk yet; i'm on my monthly annoyance and didn't feel like it. i MIGHT do it later.
KATHI ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!! loved it...clap clap clap "monthly annoyance" sigh....too funny
that was my deleted post...I sort of just rambled..so I deleted it...basically..went to the doc for a routine BP refill...bottom line...BP is up...need to be serious now on the weight loss
brenda, i was looking to be polite and kind; i know we're all girls in here and saying "period" is ok, but ....
oh no..no no...your way was FUNNIER
Dang, I've missed so much.... I wish Mike would "zest an orange" for me... sounds kinky!!! LOL
Appointments all day.... ultrasound showed none other than
"girl".... and yes, already marathon shopped today... CRAZY...
my husband said he wanted a boy to save on shopping sprees!!!
Had a great day, lots of walking, lifted the spirits.... going to do my strength training tonight..
:)
Ya'll are all amazing! truely an inspiration....
I love this blog!
Marci
Marci...your entry was a breath of fresh air :) what a beautiful day you had...and you, too, are an inspiration
Thanks Brenda!
You have a GREAT evening!
Marci
Kathi/Leigh Ann
A quick peek at the scale this morning reminded me that it's about that time as well.
Angela
Angela, feel your pain...still haven't made it to the gym...if I was Paul I would leave and come back in a few days! Should go take some midol...
thank heaven for Hysterectomies...
2 years ago for me, the best thing ever!!!
just water retention 24/7... bummer.....
Ladies,
ask your doctors for a fluid pill to take 2 days before and 2 days after, you would be amazed, it takes away the bloated feeling and the "uglies" to everyone in the house.... LOL
Marci
don't rub it in marci...lol; if i could, i'd take them (the O's and the U) out myself
I love it....
yes i was at that point myself...
5 pregancies and 4 births.... I was ready.....
I FEEL your pain.... :(
Marci
Marci,
Brenda mentioned the water pill to me the other day...my next appt is in FEB for my thryroid and I am not leaving without them:) Thank you both.
Kathi,
Don't do anything drastic:)
Wonderful Job...I haven't done a jumping jack in forever, Tina!
Well... they get the ole heart rate up. I walk for warm up... then power walk with some jumping jacks or jog to sprint to jog ... then walk for cool down. Jumping jacks arent as hard on my knees.
Tina,
I am going to try them...
Brenda,
Thinking of you and your BP...I know your miffed...you live a healthy life. We are here for you!
BTW...I make mine with ground turkey sausage...less fat than ground turkey even
Just goes to show you...it's never to late to experience something new! Heres to "firsts"!
Yes!! Leighann, I like that :D
got to work and paniced (ohhh how do you spell that)...I had forgot my Cheerios...and my grapes!!!!!!!
I had my banana and pretzels...now looking at my apple LOL
Angela,
I had my daughter look at the tricep pushup and she did it for me to see....I may be able to do that one since the regular push ups and the modified are too hard for me to get right now
Enjoy that damn apple:)
LOL...oh gosh...you crack me up :)
we are eating out for a coworkers b'day today.... UGGGGG.... so hard..
I ordered the grilled shrimp with lump crabmeat, a salad.... grilled veggies on the side... I'm sure I will have to eat a bite of stuffed potato.... :( and :)
on my 2nd 32 oz of water for the day....
go girls!!!
Brenda way to get all the fruits in! that's awesome....
I have so much trouble trying to plan the meals and make sure everything is fresh.... and stays fresh....
Marci
Marci,
Brenda is so organized - she brought me veggies and salad stuff this past Sunday! Now, that's a friend. Nice job with the water and ordering out SUCKS - it's my biggest downfall - that and the beer I order with it. LOL
Shitty day today, down in the dumps, I am sure I will feel better in a few days - if you know what I mean! I will be seeing Kathi later, so that will help.
Stephanie,
Where are you?
Tina and Angela,
Hope work is going well.
Mandy & Heidi,
Chime in girls, we need you.
Crystal,
Hope your week is going well!
yeah, mandy and heidi...where are you guys???????
aww, thanks leigh ann; i'm glad that i can cheer you up a bit; i feel like shit today too, or at least right now; i think i'm gonna go for a little walk before getting ready for my appt.
hope this passes real quick for you Leighann and Kathi!!! hugs for you both!
Heidi started a new job and she is wiped out...
between working full time and school full time..amazing woman
LOL
MARCI
uh.....red headed FRIEND? I DON'T THINK SO...lol; i can say this though, i don't feel like ripping out my Os and u today, or right now, at least......you know if i'm back on later and i'm screaming more than usual, then it'll be time to get the scissors
Hi all... just a crummy very very busy day. Leigh Ann... its like last friday! Had egg, oatmeal bar and some cashues for lunch/bkfast with a coke zero. Now... water, water water, with an occassional water. :o)
Leigh Ann:
Sorry I have been out of the loop today. It's kind of been bad here too. Just stuff constantly happening. It's like, row, row, row, but sometimes you just want to put the dang oars down and just BREATHE...
I hope you feel better. I will call you in a bit, and your Tennessee friends love you lots.
Thanks Stephanie!
Tina,
...and the occasional water, lol, have you bought your new dress yet?
Marci,
"falling off the roof" is by the far, the best description I have heard in a long time!
I wish I would fall off of the damn roof, already...I am barely hanging and the suspense is killing me and those around me:)
:)
Marci
hey ladies..wow lots going on with everyone!!
I hope everyone feels better soon!!1
I'm hoping you all have a better rest of the week...you have certainly earned it :D
I didn't have a bad day but a vry odd one thanks to my own...after working late, I forgot to get gas..arrived at the lake on fumes!! had the hardest 6 mile ride I have ever had...dud...the air was pretty much gone in both tires ...then was having a GREAT conversation with my husband on the cell phone as we were both stuck in traffic both coming home from our workouts..phone dies, dammit...forgot to charge it...LOL...all in a day :D
thanks all for the laughs through the haze
I can tell its hump day... tomorrow BETTER be better. Got off work, went to zach's game - we won 4 to 1. Took my parents to dinner as its my moms birthday. She wanted hometown buffet... and i unfortunately ate ... and ate... and ate. :-) I did have a salad! lol. No work out... as im too full... hahaha. Tomorrow its an extra 1/2 hour of cardio!!! It might kill me... but if it doesnt... gaining weight this weekend WILL!! LoL.
Now for desert... can every one say it with me?? WATER!!! whoo hoo!
oh my gosh...I loved the salad part of your comment Tina...wow this is really the hump of all hump days, isn't it...we'll be stronger :D
Marci,
I would love to meet your boss, he sounds like a hoot! Have you seen a "diaper cake" - I made one for Stephanie's shower - too fun! I have pics...
Crystal,
I thought you were working three nights a week? I am glad you like Savannah's gift...me and Tori wanted the perfect outfit for the shoes - I love them!
Brenda,
That sucks about your ride, I know you were looking forward to it...today was something else!
Tina,
So, you sacrificed one for the team and had dinner at HTB...you were a great daughter!
Went running today and will probably go do something cardio again shortly.
d:o)
BUNKO!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love BUNKO!!!!! LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh my I especially like your version better LOL
Angela,
LMAS...2, yes, they should really put a fence around those little guys and keep them out of our baskets!
Leigh Ann:
Love ya'll!
Happy Thursday everyone!! May you eat light... and drink enough water to make your TEETH FLOAT!!!
Tina :-)
Good Morning All - Have A Great Day - Tomorrow Is Friday!
L.A. send me some of those pictures of the diaper cake, I printed some off of the internet,
her shower will be black/pink..
stripes and polka dots... I will attempt to make one.. may need some moral support and feedback. :)
Everyone has a great day!
Marci
I guess the monster-in-law thing is universal. I could never explain the depths of wickedness...shocking, from such a small person (5 feet even).
Thanks for the encouragement, Marci!
Thanks Tina :) Yes, it is bad...I haven't been in denial about that..but I believe I have been weak...here's to not being weak..click/cheers :)
Yes, Brenda - I may be stopping by during visitation...on Dauntless - you crack me up. Keep your spirits high and I will be checking in on you.
Brenda,
did your doctor say that the nicotene gum can cause your BP to elevate? I may have missed that if you talked about that...
This blog could definitely be a movie.....
oh, and Steph... my MIL is 5 foot even also...... and a damn mean hornet, to me and my children....
just hateful..... I have chosen to remove her from the scenery in my life!!! LOL it's her loss....
Good husband, bad mother in law
bad husband, good mother in law
now, that's a 95% of the time true equation!!!!!!
Marci
Thanks Leighann...pretty scary about this transition...and pretty scary that I think it's pretty scary
Marci,
Too funny! I have a great mother in law this time around, also! Have met Stephanies and she's no joke!:)
Brenda, thinking of you and I will see you this weekend.
Ok blog booties...going back to work now ...LOL....I used my blog time at work as my anti stress zone :)
Have great things happen today!!!!!!
Brenda, I will be thinking of you as well.... we've all been down that hard road, you can do it!
BLah Blah Blah to your wonderful husband and mother in law.... :)
Not fair, but I will take a wonderful husband and bad MIL, instead of the other way around!
Marcia
Kathi - Great news on no clot!!!
Angela
Angela... how do I do what so early in the morning? hehe
OMG Angela, that is so very funny!
Yes, you must think of something clever for them ;)
Angela, that is hilarious about the Rocky theme. Let them joke. I am sure they are hot, sexy prizes, one and all! Their women must be so proud!
ok the rocky theme is hysterical!!
kathi great news!!1
Well... i did 45 minutes of cardio... couldnt pull off an hour or i would have had a CARDIO attack... lol.
Salad for dinner... and will boil more eggs. Whee! Angela... i think you deserve the rocky theme! YOU are AWESOME!!
Crystal, it was a huge disappointment not to wake up to a mound of snow, pushing against our door, at least to my child. Took me forever to get him going this morning. He had his mind set on bumming today. I never pray for snow...ick! Unless I have booked a snowskiing excursion. I would love to go skiing; haven't been since I was 19!
anyone have a majic formula for firm abs WITHOUT doing ANY type of crunch? I Hate CRUNCHES!!!
Angela :o)
good job today ladies...tina, i'm floating my teeth right now
i just got done with my mile walk; my resource counselor says that it's really starting to show in the back that I'm losing weight...NO IF I CAN GET THAT TO SHOW IN THE FRONT!!!!!!! any suggestions?????
Yes, the baby's middle name is after Paw Paw June... Leigh Ann's dad and Katelynne's Paw Paw.
Ha, Leigh Ann will be a great aunt again!!!! You are getting old girl...... but at least not a Maw Maw yet.... I need to keep quiet...
I would love to see snow, how wonderful that would be....very seldom in Louisiana as well.
Everyone is doing great, and we definitely have good spirits and good senses of humor.
Marci
i have to ask......IT'S KILLING ME!! how are you all, if you are, related to Britney? i think leigh ann's her aunt (?).... not sure how though i'm sorry for bringing it up, but it's just killing me
leigh ann, have you fallen off the roof yet? i'm almost done, THANK GOODNESS
Have a great tomorrow everyone :)
Chew that gum girl.... think about licking an ashtray every time you want a cig.. it really does help.. .think about the ashes on your tongue.. gross... it helps....
just run girl, run...... it will help... LOL
marci
brenda, it all depends on how i'm feeling...that kind of determines how far i walk. marci, ty for answering my question...i will pray for her; and you're right, all she needs is love right now and a lot of prayers.....it does make it worse that she's in the spotlight...i think she needs to come home, away from all that
Good Morning Everyone!
Thanks to Brenda who met me at the ER - I appreciate it and love you bunches.
let me back track....
I meant to say don't chew the gum..... it may be what is messing with your BP.....
I had a screwed up momment there....
I quit smoking almost 9 years ago... had smoked like a train...
cold turkey, but I was pregnant for 2 years solid! dont' do that!!!! ha
Marci
Leigh Ann,
my 7 year old has been having anxiety and panic attacks for 3 years now, its so scary... I will say some prayers for you... I know how she gets and its difficult to understand.
Tell me if I am too nosey, but, are you on a daily prescription???
maybe think about that...
Madison is on zoloft, they just increased her recently to 75 mg...
which is alot for a child, but she can function...
Love you lots,
Marci
Glad everything is okay, Leigh Ann. Wish I could have been there to help, if I could.
good morning everyone....eating cheerios and grapes right now...with a diet coke...then will drink water the rest of the work day....I have a frozen meal, etaname and cut up vegies for lunch....
Leigh Ann,
Believe me, I research, b/c it wasn't me, it was my child, and zoloft is the best thing to be on.... it doesn't have as many side effects as the others...
Love you!
Marci
And then, girls, I will push fluids (water) and go to the gym!
This is a big BLOG HUG from me to you!! **HUUUUUGGGGGGGG**
Love ya sweetie! See you tonight!
What a great place to get such positve and encouraging support...Leighann ..you taught me not to be embarressed about anxiety when it pops up :) Because, I too, have had ups and down because of it :D there...so you are not publiclly alone..Marci shared her daughter's story, I shared mine....you are soooo not alone...and even if there was nobody here to have gone through it....there are so many compassionate people around you...feel good about that...and you will...sleep well
and...BTW...I'm not licensened...have know idea what the hell I have to back up anything I say LMAO..
Brenda,
Thank you for coming out of the closet with me:)
Marci,
Thank you for sharing and I will give the Zoloft a try.
Tina,
Thanks for the blog hug! I will see you at the Soccer field.
Can I just say... IM HUNGRY!!! lol.
Ladies - I love this blog! You all ROCK!
Speaking of that, its time for some jogging. Na na naaaaaaw, na na naaaw...
Angela :o)
Angela,
I think you should "throw some punches" while your running or just yell out Adrian! LMAO - I bet they would die:)
O M G Angela and Leigh Ann you are WAY funny!!!! I love reading these! They almost always make me smile. :o)
That would be very funny about the punching!!! hehehe...gosh the visual is cracking me up...
well I was bad...I ate a cheese quessadilla....AND my lunch...oh my...I did have one caffinated diet coke BUT no bad chew here :D sugarfree gum is what I have here and I do share...wanna piece ___
I'm kind of in a give/take mode with myself right now as I pass through the detox phase of nicoteine in the system...
Girls!!!!!!!! Win that soccor game!!!!
You go Brenda!!! And if you need to yell... hey - come to the soccer game and cheer us on! hehe.
WE WILL WIN!!! right Leigh Ann?? WE WILL WIN!!!
Thanks Kathi, it's such as scary feeling...
Brenda, such a sharer during detox...too funny.
Will we win, Tina? I have no idea who we are playing.
maybe i shouldnt say... ruin your day... the MAMA'S AND PAPAS and we BETTER win
DAMN IT!!! I am in no mood...
greetings all....hope the soccor game is/went great for the home team...Kathi....you rock! didn't work out tonight...I did wonder aimlessly though LOL went to buy sneakers..
to the Marci, Angela,Steph,Crystal wishing you a healthy weekend!!
Mandy and Heidi...wishing you well too
We Won - We Rock, Tina played incredible defense and I scored!!!
WHOOO HOOOO what a game! Thanks Leigh Ann! I felt like I had a great game... and what a goal you had!! HOOOOOOOT! Yes!!!!!!!!
Oh... and in case I forgot to mention... IM HUNGRY!!! lol
