The steaks turned out DELISH LeighAnn... I was pleased if i do say so myself. LOL. Sent all the Tbones home with Brenda for Powder. LOL She gets treats when the Kochs eat steak.
Hope to get Tia's golf shorts today. Girls officially start school TOMORROW.. egads. where the hell did the time go.

Steve and I had dinner with Allyson and Jose...we are sooooo impressed with this guy...His internal strength is unbelievable...we really got to know him and he, us...LOL now we know why Allyson didn't want this dinner to happen...they guy is focused on his education (Nursing) he fell off the tracks for a few years and now his train is full on moving :D poor Allyson LOL

Dailen is sick...so we are keeping her home - she has an awful hacking cough and this am her eyes are all red and crusted...ugh...no fever yet, though.
Mackenzie and them won the tournament - I will post a pic of her with the biggest EVER trophy and her new pj's - LMAO!
WOW Leighann :) That is sooo exciting about Mackenzie...I bet her smile matched the size of that trophy!!!!! Can't wait to see that picture :) WTG to all of those kids!!! Aww that's awful about Dailen..hope she gets through this real quick!! Got the girls off to school this morning. No serious incidents except Jenna burning the CRAP out of her neck with the flat iron. Even applying ice immediatly she still has two big blisters. Poor thing.

I'm completely lost....is Marci and MB splitting up? What happened to him? I'm glad that JJ is getting better though; prayers go out to him.
This weekend is NOT going to be easy for us ... Sunday will be the first anniversary of my mom's death (which also happens to be Grandparents Day); not quite sure what's planned, but I haven't been myself this week at all so far ...

Ok, so tonight I went to a "class of '89" happy hour at the Elephant Bar in RB (my first time there in the 27 years we've lived down here ... boy, I sure do need to get out more...lol); I was gonna chicken out, but I'm glad I went; had a great time. A lot of people were smokin and the cravings were KILLING ME, but I DID NOT go to the gas station next door and buy a pack.

I know, Bren; I'm calling that my "test" before Vegas ... if I can get through cravings from people smokin outside at a bar, I THINK I can handle Vegas (although, I won't be casino hopping this time, so I think it'll be easy)
Last weekend, my sister and I had a nice chat about that (smoking). I can't believe how selfish I was being ... my nieces lost their grandmother to emphysema (she also had cancer a while ago - this was my sil's mom) and it just absolutely DEVASTATED my middle niece, Allison. She was so close to "Gran" - closer than she was to my mom, in fact (not that she didn't love her, but ... ); anyway, girls, you should have seen her two years ago at her funeral/memorial.... I can't get that crushed face out of my head now; seeing that face in my head is gonna get me to quit - and now so is the fear of my family back in Chicago shunning me in Vegas (my sister called our cousin, who lost her mom, my mom's sister, to a raging recurrance of cancer, and told her; and now the word's gonna get back there like wildfire) and I'm scared shitless about how I'm gonna be treated in Vegas - no, I don't think I'm gonna be beaten with a wooden stick every few minutes; it's just the fear of not being able to talk to or visit with them (and this'll be my first time seeing my cousin Debbie and Uncle Tom - Mom's oldest brother - since my cousin and I lost our moms).
Sorry for taking up so much space, but it felt good to get all that out (I actually had to pause a few times cuz I couldn't see, due to the tears)
OH CRAP, almost forgot to tell you gals that I am now two pounds away from losing 50 since beginning this blog (wooo wooo).
