...got a call from my sister and she's happy! She's been offered a job outside civil service..This is a new beginning and a good beginning...now her body and mind can heal...she's suffered alot of years and a bad job only adds to it...It's a good day!!

Guess i shouldnt bitch, freds doing a double... poor baby. He will get home at 9:00 tonight.
Have my eye appointment tomorrow. Will find out if i have to have my cornea's replaced. fun flippin fun.

I had a good one helping janet repot orchids..it'll take several more times to get them all done but it's now full on fair prep!! Again, this year will be more exciting than last year, for sure...we were laughing tonight about our craziness...next year the fair won't call us the Asian Arts Promanade...it's gonna be AAA..Asian Arts Asylum LOL ....Oh my!! There are no limits...

I had an ok day; went to the dentist and got two fillings...oh, joy
It's not an interview on Thursday; we're gonna talk to my current ihss worker about the contract I had drawn up, that she's always wanted to talk about, but for some reason, has always changed the subject as usual; so my resource counselor and I are just gonna basically rip her a new one ... but, on a good note, I did get a response back from the ad I placed last night; but again, this new person lives in east county, so I don't know if I'm gonna go with her ... so stressful

we had to take all of ours out of the bedrooms b/c of Gabriell's allergies... and also take the cceiling fan out of her bedroom...
and it has made a world of difference in her allergies...

Well, its been confirmed that I DO in fact have Keratokonis (sp) A thinning of the cornea, for which there is no cure. I will need a transplant someday - but it could be decades from now. But that explains why I cant see with my glasses and why contacts are bugging me all the time. It will only get worse... I hope slowly! :o) I feel better knowing THATS what it is.

Thanks, girls.... and .... my ihss worker is GONDITY, GONE, GONE, GONE; She said that with her hours cut in half, she couldn't live, which I agree with; no one can... so I told her that I'd find someone that could (and under my breath I said and someone that wouldn't cheat the county and wouldn't complain about driving 20 miles to work each way, when everyone and their brother does it)

Last night we had a grand ole time...Steve's brother came in over night from Arizona...he's on his way to central California to visit a sick friend...since our furniture (most of it) is in the garage...we hung out in lawn chairs in the family room with sheets on the wet carpet...and had hot sauce competitions...Steve's bro (Scott) and Allyson's friend, Ashley, seemed to win LOL...

Hey guys, finally home... exhausted... got up at 4:30 this morning, had to be in Thib. for 7 a.m for Kyle's surgery... got there at 6:20 and just missed seeing him... :( I was sad.... but, his surgery went well... Renee, her friend Rebecca, My Mom, me and my younger brother were there.... and Renee's dad (Pa-Paw)
came after surgerey with Spencer (12) and Kelsey (10 in August)....
it's been a long day, but so worth being there for Kyle and Renee'...

we drove to their house, about another hour, and took Nick, their oldest to lunch.... and then a snoball! got locked out their house! LOL and waited for them on the porch... (after I found a children's shop and bought mYlee 3 outfits! HEE HEE)

I HAVE A MOUSE/RAT IN MY HOUSE...omg, you guys, I called my sister in TEARS cuz it scared me so bad .... I knew there was something in here, cuz I'd hear things rattling and moving, but seriously thought I was going nuts; and then I saw something out of the corner of my eye, so I turned to look, AND THERE IT WAS; I was sitting at my computer at the time, and I swear, I leaped from the chair to the the bed in one swift movement (almost cat like); it was then when I called my sister in tears .... but omg .... my neighbor Steve came over and set one of those inhumane traps and put it on the opposite side of the couch from where I saw it
OMG Kathi, hoping your neighbor captures the creature... and disposes of it honey! GOSH!!!!
that's scary...
I don't even want to sleep here tonight, knowning that the trap'll go off and "Mickey" (as my sister affectionally calls it) will be screaching in pain; but I don't have a choice now...too late to catch a bus anywhere
and sister is up in OC watching my nieces
NO MORE "OCTO-RAT" (as my niece put it earlier); left the doors open and he ran off......THANK GOD; and now, thanks to my neighbor, I'm enjoying a Sierra Nevada Pale Ale
