Thank you LA for putting that special post up for me :). I have to get my cholesterol and other stuff rechecked tomorrow morning, and I cannot wait to see what the results are since I've been on the "Lean Cuisine Diet"... I'll be shocked if my cholesterol is still above 200 (but not surprised if it is, since I still eat fast food every now and again)
Marci, about your post on grandbabies.....YES! Aren't they just the BEST; I can't tell you guys how my parents doted on theirs (and now that Dad's disease is progressing, how they dote on him; they are SO GOOD, and VERY understanding when he wants kisses on the mouth, instead of just hugs, like they used to do - even my 11 year old nephew, which he still cringes about, but he's just as great about it as his sister and cousins)
Thank you, Marci, on the weight loss; and yes, my nieces and nephew are pretty incredible...
I get a "Dippy" cap today....when I went to put my deoderant on today, I didn't look to see where the "nozzle" was (it's the spray kind), and I got an eye full of it; so I have an urgent care appt tonight to see if I did anything "serious" - probably not, but I'm following what the poison control center said to do....update to follow
Change the "dippy" cap to "STUPID"....lol; the doc said that she had to do some research b/c she's never had a patient that got deodarant in the eye before (at that point, I wanted to hide in a cabinet)....but all is FINE; did a good rinsing of my eye before I went, so she said I'd be gtg (good to go) in a day or so; but I actually laughed when she said what she did, because it made me think of my mom's reaction to the whole thing....and let me tell you, she'd be almost peeing her pants from laughing (that's the first time since she passed that I thought about my mom and had a huge grin on my face; and it felt pretty good)
