OH, LA, At the doc yesterday, the scale said I was up 4 lbs :(; hoping it doesn't change today...lol

Well, girls, not only do I have a UTI, but the doctor thinks the infection has invaded my kidney... I knew something more was going on than just a uti, DAMN IT; but, I'm on 500mg of Cipro, so that should kick the infection's ass, and if not, I'm back in the doctor's in a week (Nonnie, I got your email...and YES, NO CAFFEINE...I've almost drank a gallon of water today, so I've been peeing like a race horse, but hoping that'll also kick it out of my system)

our newest "state farm baby"...
born on Sunday April 26th, was diagnosed today, with Spinal Bifida..... we are devastated and worried... and just asking for prayers...
this is my co-worker (and "sister")
grandbaby..... and my special nephew...
we are all extremely close... more like family..

The guy today trimmed as much as he could with that ladder tied to the tree and an extension saw...we were at work...he was so nice to pile up the broken railings on the hill...and the broken solar lights, ...neatly piled..BUT he's not hurt!! I'm sure once the main 4 trunks on that tree and main canopy start coming down, I'll see some big damage to my plants...hopefully not to our out buildings or house!! More important..his own life!! I'm not going to complain if the damage is just on our hill...I know he's doing it because financially he can't afford professionals...but I'm very concerned!!!

this man, is up against the odds.... it is a FINANCIAL BURDEN to take on any big tree in your yard.... MB and I have paid close to 3,000 for one tree.. not counting grounding the stump..
it is sooooo expensive....

Marci, I'm gonna say a special prayer for baby Cale (I watch EWTN every morning at 4:30 to pray the Rosary and then at 5, there's a daily Mass)....so prayers tomorrow are for baby Cale and his parents

Mylee saw Dr. Sessums today for eye appointment/possibly another MRI, he says, WOW, unbelievable, let me see her chart, incredible,
hmmmm... amazing....

he says, she has remarkable improvement in her optical nerve, I'm amazed! I say.... YEAH TO ST. LUCY!!!!! yeah to all the prayers.... our baby has vision, and our prayers have been answered!
we won't know until she is 3 or 4 her degree... but she will NOT be considered legally blind!!!!!!

no, Brenda,
no form of Spina bifida is treatable...
they said, it will not majorly affect him until adulthood.... and he will be tiny, IE Dad 5'2", Mom 4'11", which is good, he won't be tall and lanky and putting extra pressure on his spine...
he will have surgery at a later date... he is toooooooo tiny now... he weighs 5 lbs...
they are coming home tonight, and I will go tomorrow and smooch and take pictures to post... I am sure ya'll will meet my new baby in May whenever ya'll come...

The tree..OMG..I was cooking in the kitchen and saw the old dude..CRAWLING across a large limb...he saw me..and went back to regroup...from there he managed to cut one big ole limb into pieces...there is some damage to plants..praying as he goes..he'll be safe...I could tell by watching him..he's trying to be careful of our property...it's gonna happen..things are going to continue to be damaged..but in his eyes..cheaper than getting a professional..UGH!!!

I tell him, Mike is pissed, you flooded our driveway and crumbled it even more.. you need to be careful! LOL

ROF LMAO...scarf class...LOLOLOLOL; and the UTI is better (the burning and frequency), but the right side of my back hurts....the doc thinks the infection's gone into my kidney (but it's weird, cuz I haven't had a fever); if I don't have to go into urgent care or the er this weekend, I'm gonna go back next week and get a recheck of things...he didn't say to come back, but I'm gonna anyway...no way in HELL I'm gonna let this go

Never made it to the YMCA and worked most of the day - it's SO good to be back there/here!
Speaking of the budget...whats the price of the riverboat ride? And then we have dinner and the crawfish boil...trying to figure out if we have enough set aside...yikes!

308.10 is now the new charges per couple...now that I knocked off a night..the charges per night, also dropped ...this includes tax :) I just got off the phone with them.

OK, yesterday in the mail, I got an offer from Harrah's... (which is the Double Tree where we are staying).... I have to call though... I may get some of the rooms for $50 a night.... let me work on that in a little while...
we will save whatever we can....
girls, we can look at other options besides the riverboat... we can just ride... and not eat...
and we are just all going to stay at my house the Monday... we are not getting a travel trailer... we will just fit and make do! LOL

Day cruise for lunch is fine with us... but we are also up for the dinner one. So you guys decide. We (me n fred, not sure about Brenda n Steve) may get a room in gonzales and take a cab over after the crawfish boil and drinking ourselves silly! LOL. Hes a bit uncomfortable with the whole "stay at Marci's"... I didnt realize it would bother him, but we will see. He doesnt wanna be a party pooper but ya'all know how he is... and even though you can insist its not an inconvienence... he will see it as such and then not be comfortable. I will know more as it gets closer... I keep mentioning it and how fun its gonna be, he keeps sayin we should find a room close by and take a cab. So... we will have to see. *sigh* My man... gotta love him.
I must say though... I am so incredibly excited that I can HARDLY STAND IT!!!! Whooo hooooo!!

Ok..my emotions.....had my annual meeting today with my team, and we basically let my ihss worker have it (I didn't speak, b/c it would've been WAY too uncomfortable and stressful for me, so everybody else did on my behalf)...my rc and I made up a contract for her, and it "seemed" like she was willing to follow it - I've learned not to hold my breath when it comes to Gina, so we'll see if it comes to fruition - there was no "yelling" or put downs or anything of the sort..didn't cry or fall apart, which I thought I would, so all in all, I thought it was a pretty good meeting; my new goal is to get out and volunteer somewhere, so I can get out of the house, and not think about things so much..we all, including me, thought this was a great idea...I do have another interview tomorrow afternoon with another person, who I think will work out beautifully, since she lives here in MM; she sounded so sweet on the phone...I can't tell you the weight that was lifted when talking to her..PHEW; we'll see if that pans out...

Well we lost by 1 poing 5 to 4.... and ... i played AWESOME... LOL
I dived over jeff...almost did a cartwheel... ran the ball up the field and made a great pass... and..well... had a few beers and this is what kristy jeff and fred told me... LOL
Now to bed and up early for the volleyball tourney.
