we are having Mylee's first birthday this coming Saturday!
we are doing an Easter egg hunt!
should be soooo much fun!
my little brother is really doing great... we see a neurologist on Tuesday afternoon.. I am off all day Tuesday, so it works out great... Kate and I go tour the Nursing college in hammond... and we should be back before his appt at 2:30...
Glad your brother's doing great, Marci...I was praying for him; was that the first time he's had seizures?

Hey Kathi, glad you are doing great...
No, not first seizure... he had his first at 20 years old, he is 38 now..... been having break throughs for the last 4 weeks...
he and I have been fighting and cussing back andd forth....
all week...
Friday scared him.. so now we are on the road to help.... :)
I will keep ya'll posted...
he's a great guy.... just to himself and doesn't like people prying... IE family.....
he keeps up with me.... which I am glad... and hopefully keep him grounded....
thank God for you Marci in his life :) I also will keep up the thoughts and prayers that he will get this taken care of!! Your home sounds so lovely!! Can't wait to see pics of everything..then see it live in May!!

Kathi...I so wish I could take you out but I'm swamped this weekend and next :( I'll have some time opening up after that!!!!

Marci, no worries...life is busy:D I enjoyed talking with you yesterday and Rayna says to give Mylee a hug from her.
Dailen's first game was a BLAST! She was awesome, she scored several and recovered nicely on defense (which is her fav position).
Mackenzie's soccer weekend was a bust. She was hurt in the first game (she was crying on all fours out on the soccer field). After a quick trip to the ER we learned it wasn't broken, but that the tendons were "extremely bruised" so, they wrapped it and put her on crutches - I have cute pics from the ER...LOL! They thought I was nuts!
She is an accident waiting to happen on those crutches, let me tell you!
Rayna says she is neglected cause she has never been to the ER...we made her wait till Monday and her damn ankle WAS broken. LOL!!!!!

Oh yea...
Saw an old friend yesterday, who I haven't seen in a few months, at soccer. She looked at me and was like, "Your butt is bigger!" I kid you not...
She said, "I like it - you figure is great - have you lost weight?"
Which I said, no, as matter of a damn fact, I have gained weight...she meant it as a compliment, but all I heard was BIG BUTT!!!!!
No wonder vanity is a sin!
Dailen sounds like a pistol on the field! Go girl!

Rayna, I will hug Mylee 40 times for you... no problem...

Brenda - miss you girl! Sounds like you are just so very busy! No time to play with me and Fred, LOL Jenna played some great volleyball. They didnt take a match but managed to take a set in each game making them all go to 3!
Hope everyone has a wonderful week. Its so busy at work and after right now... I cant even catch my breath! And freakin volleyball is only adding to the "stuff". Oh well...its fun! Love to all ya all!

Pray fo Maggie, she has an infection and she is to have surgery this afternoon. This means besides the obvious tx for the infection, that they are back to square one...see Gwens blog for more information.

Prayers are certainly being said for Maggie from my end as well....
I had a LOUSY Monday...did the Mammo, which wasn't as bad as I though (you guys were right); but while I was waiting to be called, I had an emotional breakdown b/c it was my first "new medical experience" w/o my mom; I did talk to, and pray to her (and God, of course) to get me through the appt, which helped...but OMG; and with Easter/my bday coming...I'm hangin on by a thread again....and then to top the day off, when my ihss worker came and picked me up, I was telling her about it (crying) and she had the f*in gall to say "it's time to grow up"; I'm sure she didn't mean it in a mean way, but DAMN, it hasn't even been a FRICKIN YEAR YET (only 6.5 months)....... I'm gonna take an Ativan and get some rest (I'm sorry for the f bomb, but I'm done emotionally today....)
Gosh,poor Maggie....I will get over to Gwen's post...
Brenda, Keith is going to his appt... he just is going by himself.. which still leaves us all in the dark... :O(
