MB and I are fighting like cats and dogs... I'm hurting and not in the mood... Sam came to visit, and it seems like he is just always so ugly to her.... I get so tired of how negative he is towards her.

Hey Tina...I normally don't enjoy Mondays but today feels like it's going to be a good one, for me
I don't come back until Sunday...going down for the production meeting at NRD. My Command is letting me go no-cost a few times before I PCS - they have been so supportive.
Morning Meeting over...now, just have some taskers to take care of...the day doesn't look to be as stressful as I thought - knock on wood!

I know MB means well, it just doesn't come out correctly... and it makes me mad! My rule is tell them once, don't harp on them... and MB is a harper.... (and of course my big mouth told him he was like his MAMA!!! LOL)

Had lunch with Rima...she lost 10 pounds while out of the country for work...she said she doesn't do well with chow halls..but would have lost more if it weren't for cheesecake!! :)

I am home safe and sound...we went and had dinner...and now we are getting settled.
Had a GREAT visit with Dad today; he actually participated in an activity and (this is a HUGE thing) he referred to his room as his HOUSE...so we're making BIG progress, and it's only been a week and a half!!
I even walked 2.5, 3 miles today to get there and back from the bus stop!!! My little legs are kind of hurting right now...lol
don't over due it Kathi, but Glad that day with your dad was great!

MB and I went to church for Gabs 1st communion..... KK had everyone in bed when we got home! :)

I'd rent a car to go and visit, but my sister doesn't want me to (it is a waste of money every week - but I wouldn't do it EVERY week -, but OY, is that a long walk to and from the bus stop);

I had a good workout with Tina..then came home and jumped right into my chores...just sat down!! 3 hours later...I'd say that is another workout LOL
Not resting yet, but will asa I get done with this post...just got done doing some dishes that were in the sink
I know that the transition is going so well because I talk to Mom every day; asking her to help him get into it more and more each day, and it's obviously working :D; he still won't cooperate with the showers/changing his clothes, but right now, we're taking baby steps; the staff there said the total transition time is three months, so we've got a while yet before he completely gets into a routine, but he has done AMAZINGLY WELL so far
That's so cool, Marci, that Gabs is making her First Communion a week after Easter;

Kathi - If LA and I (who were both LONG TIME HUGE smokers) can quit... anybody can. I too took the chantix... but i tell you the ONLY thing that really made the difference for me was this time I didnt say "I was going to try to quit smoking" I said " I am GOING to quit smoking"... Until then... it was simply an excuse.
Brenda - we are still on for the gym? I have a 3:00 meeting that is planned for an hour - so it will be a bit later than usual if thats ok... Im hoping it wont take that long.
LA - I am so happy for you!!! To be home with your girls and hubby! Hug Tori for me and tell her I said to be safe and have fun!!!

Thanks, LA and Tina for the advice on quitting; I'm not sure LA if my insurance'll cover Chantix, but I can ask the doc (in fact, I'll email him now); I just dread the thought of taking more medication than what I'm already on *sigh*

I know how you feel about the meds, I hate taking them, too. But, it really helped me and Tina has a good point...you have to be ready and committed.
Gabs is better... I think she had a my mommie is not home momment.... :(

Marci, any word on a shower for McKenna Jo...is that how they are spelling it? Everyone this is my brother John Mark and his wife, Linda baby that is due in April.
I have completed a blanket, socks, booties and hat (will post the pics after they get it) and am working on another hat and booties tonight - then I will mail it off.

I've been talking to my brother , Ben, this evening...poor guy...he's tired..he doesn't sleep much due to his co driver they are in route from Louisiana to San Fran area...if you want to text or call him his number is 858-733-0774...feel free to save his number and contact him at random times, I do :) he will be back in San Diego the end of the month for R and R...I miss him :( he's going back to the east coast probably after the bay area...

Where the heck has everyone been? I dont remember a week ever before where less than 100 posts were made. WOW - we must all be busy
Got our keesters handed to us last night. 11 - 5. I had fun... it was against Coach Teagan's team, LeighAnn! The boys zach played HS ball with. So... not surprised we got beat. LOL.
Gonna go to dinner with the Storey's after fred gets off work today. That will be fun! I had a light lunch so i could eat naughty tonite. LOL.
I am up a lb this week... im surprised its not more... but glad too.
