Starting at the track this afternoon... going to start with 2 miles.... then every 5 days I'll add on a mile..... should be ready for the 5 mile walk at the end of April.... Steph & Renee, any suggestions?????

Who all is off tomorrow...I would be but we are flying out so that we can start teaching on Tuesday - very exciting!
Fred and I are both off tomorrow... we will stay in bed and watch tv ALL day since its supposed to rain. Actually... we will do the gym first... LOL

April 25th is the walk, huh? I better start practicing walking to church; although with all the walking I do already, It'll be a piece of cake - it's pretty much all flat

Hi everyone! I slept the week away. Got a cast on. Been having a lot of nerve pain in my foot. Dr says I possibly stretched the large nerve that runs down the outside of your ankle... (you bang your ankle and get shooting pains? that one.) ...if it stops in the next month. If not, it was cut or damaged in either the injury or during the surgery.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Ok Steph, reporting in.... I walked 2 1/2 miles (today was my first day)... and my sister in law and I finished in about 50 minutes... we walked.... I don't ever see myself running again... although I may one day...
I'm really not stressing over the time, as long as I can physically do the 5 miles without passing out in 2 months...
