I don't know how good the time is but.... I walked 2 1/2 miles in 50 minutes tonight.... am sure will be sore tomorrow morning, but it is a good start... I'm excited...

Hey, I am at Camp LeJeune, which is in Jacksonville, NC. We are all going to PT at 0600...so, I will have to check in later. That is awesome about your walking! WTG...till later.

Yes LA - I talked with Brenda... last check in was about 800 last night and all was well. Their trip was very snowy and packed with traffic. I will let her fill you all in... but i know they were on the homestretch at 8.

Marci, I returned a comment to you on my blog, but I don't know if you got back to it.....I am catching up. Awesome job on the walking! On your training, now that you have established your baseline, just add to it each time you go out....that's what I do! Pick up the pace a little at a time. Did you say your walk is on 25 April? Because that is the day of my half marathon! Mine starts at 0700. It would be fun to call you during the race! I will have my cell phone tucked in my sports bra, like last time, LOL!

KK's senior trip is booked, and I'm not too happy... I didn't allow Sam to go... and KK has worked so hard she deserves, but it is not fair... so I told her she has to pay....
well my boss gives her her graduation present early! $500!!!!
(she is our student worker as well, so he double dipped her!)

Marci, great job on the time! You have no control over what your boss does...you must not be the only one that think she deserves it! She only gets this chance once - especially as a single mom -but you know that, just trying to support you 'cause you are incredible.

she's working in the mornings from 7 am. until 9 a.m at St Elizabeth Hospital Surgery Room in Gonzales...
she was all excited b/c she saw a boob job today!!! LOL

OMG Brenda, I would love to go and get rocks for my yard! I so LOVE doing that.... MB hates that he has to weed eat around everything... it looks bare now, b/c everything was killed with the snow!

I just must say, my legs hurt like hell... and my scholiosis is really bothering me tonight... I've done a few back exercises in the hot water.... MB will rub my back tonight...he doesn't know it yet! LOL
KK and them are going to Cancun, with "Grad Week" out of California... they organize everything... and there are plenty of parents going and chaperones!
She has her passport applied for, should be in in about 2 weeks...
we have to finish our power of attorney paperwork and all for Mylee....

Yes, MB and I went down to the creek every weekend when we were dating and then again when Madi & gabbi were 1 & 2.... collecting creek slick rocks for my beds....
scary momment... but we had too many bags on the back of the 4 wheeler Gabbi was in front and then MB and madi in between us... going up the enbankment and the 4 wheeler flipped on us... it was slow mow... I held Madi out with my arm and laid her in a mud puddle and mb caved his chest around gabrielle...the gun rack scraped up my back.... and MB fell on me... with the 4 wheeler on top of us! Gabbi was giggling... we were not
I want to go and get more rocks... without kids... adult collecting!

Where did my post go?
Every once in a while, I get an error message and it gives me a code and tells me to contact the administrator? Then my post is gone. I am beginning to wonder if my troubles have to do with my work software on this computer. I know I cannot run I-tunes concurrently. It wipes out my work! They have some pretty stiff security settings.
Well, thanks anyway, Brenda, for the well wishes. I feel better today, just really tired still, and my ears still hurt.

I've been waking up all night worrying about everything myself! ridiculous!
MB and I are now home... field trip was so much fun!!!! We went to the Rural Life Museum, (La. history about sugar cane farming and plantations, what my family did) then the Swamp tour.... very fun!
The lawyer called about the wreck when KK was 9 months pregnant.. the other people FINALLY admitted fault!... hello.. she ran a stop sign and hit us broadside! Its ashame we had to hire a lawyer for that! anyways...... we were blessed b/c of their stupidity...
will release first 1/2 next week.

So far, so GREAT, here in RB; might change my tune tomorrow, as it's shower day; dinner tonight was absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS (wow, haven't used that word in a while...lol); stuffed ravioli in kind of a tangy sauce with little bits of chicken; and of course a salad for pops - I didn't feel much like one tonight

I would LOVE the storms Marci!! My sister texted me a pic of a tornado out her backyard!! She lives in Georgia..so not sure if the weather was coming or going your way Marci ...the storms anyway..no tornados!!
I was wiped out from the gym..completely...sigh...barely any energy this evening...did the dishes...load of clothes and went through a stack of mail...that's it..gonna turn in early

hope everyone has a good day :) Busy day here...working late..then going to a church shelter to feed the homeless...not your typical homeless on the streets but families who were in that group..one paycheck away from being homeless...so sad :(
today is also my Friday...leaving in the AM for Arizona to play in the desert...will be back Sunday night...I plan on burning calories this weekend, hoofing it :)

The flight schedules are corrected - they were for our students, not us. They fly and practice taking care of patients in the back of the aircraft - very cool stuff.
I fly back tomorrow and then Paul and the kids are coming down on Saturday, I am very excited.

And OMG about the first reconcilliation...I remember making mine; I was TERRIFIED, but we had the BEST priest (Father Tom) back then, so it made it easier...and then for practicing my First Holy Communion, my mom gave me the Host while I was sitting on the toilet...LOL (those two events happened when we lived in Los Angeles)
Tina, if you're willing to share, I would also like the recipes for both - preparing and heating stuff up for Dad and I got me into cooking a little now (just doing the simple stuff right now though...no gourmet things for a while)
Is losing 7 lbs. in three weeks good? According to the scale in my mom's room, which I don't think is accurate cuz it's on carpet, I'm now down to 170 (taking into account 3 lbs of clothing I had on when I was weighed at the doc's on Jan. 28) w/o clothes on...
Night, night; took an Ativan to calm my nerves/anxiety for what's coming this weekend, so I'm gonna check in (out) early

The dinner tonight for a homeless shelter was really something...I've never did anything like that before...These churches take turns hosting about 12 people for a month at their own churches..then they get volunteers to make the meals...I was most moved by their spirits...here they are..homeless..but they were so cheerful and making us feel comfortable...these folks were like you and I...not the type of folks you see collecting monies on the corner...Anyway..enough rambling...I was just really moved by the whole experience :)

Jenna tries out for a Club Volleyball team today. They have 2 dates, this friday and next friday, and then they choose their players. She is excited and nervous. LOL

Brothers/sister/friends are (hopefully) secretively moving all of my dad's stuff into his new "apartment" at the facility today/tonight - although I don't know how secretive they can be with him there...it might be after he goes to bed tonight; my sister's got her car packed with the laundry (so he doesn't find any missing clothes) and the new bed that she bought him, sil might come down from OC with the table/chairs she got...they're just gonna have his room all set up and ready for tomorrow

WOOO HOOOOO! Quick stop in then I have to work on a big paper for school.
I broke all the rules and drove myself to Weight Watchers today. I was ready to have a gain because of the cast, surgery, swelling in my leg, no activity at all, and that time of the month.... BUT I have lost another 4.6 pounds!!!
My grand total is 13.8 pounds lost right now. :)
