Hi everyone!!!
Lousy flight...missed our connection in Charlotte...didn't get home to almost midnight! Fell off the roof in the process of probably the longest day of my life. Was so glad to go to bed!!!
Paul and the girls are coming down today and spending the night with me - I am so excited!!!
Kristy - WTG with the weight loss, that is incredible. BTW...be careful driving, missy!
Kathi - you too...that's a huge loss, the carpet may be helping you out...LOL!

LA I am so glad the family is coming to hang out with you. I am sure you are soooo glad to have them!!
Game was cancelled into the 2nd half when Zach's friend, Mikey, broke his ankle... we had to have paramedics come he couldnt move. You could HEAR the bone snap... it was grossssss!
Today is a birthday party for my friends 6 year old. That will be interesting... lol.

Did tickers for me, Tina and Kristy...
Well, happy to report that so far, so just ok with Dad's move into the facility; hasn't fully sunk in yet; my brother from OC is gonna be there with him for a while (and maybe overnight if needed) until he sort of gets the idea. We're playing it off like they're gonna do some studies on him and "see why he can't remember"; my sister brought some OLD pictures..one of the six of us and one of my parents on their wedding day; Dad didn't remember either of those; we're going back tomorrow to celebrate one of my niece's bday (she turned 9 on Monday)
I'm glad you didn't change my ticker, LA; we had lunch with Dad at the facility, so I'll weigh myself in the morning, if I remember;
Tina, that does sound gross about hearing the bone snap - I can't, nor do I want to, imagine what that's like; hope Mikey gets better soon though

Tina, MY SCARF WAS WAITING FOR ME WHEN I GOT HOME TODAY! It is perfect! I LOVE it! That is absolutely the nicest thing, ever! I am glad you weren't here to see me cry like a big ol baby. :) As I said, I will treasure it! I will get a picture for my blog...

I passed a Mardi Gras Store in Baton Rouge, so will have to go and stop in and see what they got... b/c we will need some beads in May!!!!!!
OH YEAH, it's Mardi Gras time, huh? I've always wanted to go down there for that.....OH CRAP! That means it's gonna be Lent, which means us Catholics can't have meat on Fridays :(...gonna have to do some more shopping, cuz all the frozen dinners I have in the freezer have meat in 'em;

I can't tell ya how much growing up I've done since Mom passed, Marci; all of my siblings have told me so, too; so I am feeling very accomplished; my sister and I are very worried about Dad though, waking up tomorrow; but like I said, there'll be a bunch of us there to celebrate my niece, Maddie's birthday, so he'll have fun
Sitting here with Paul having coffee...High School Musical is playing in the background and the girls are playing ball...yes in our suite. We've had a great time and are getting ready to go bowling!

Happy Monday, everyone; it's nice to finally be back on (had a HELL of a time over the last couple of days)
Party yesterday was great. We ended up playing Yahtzee and Dad was having a great time....so that's what we're all gonna probably start doing; take him upstairs (or bring it down to him) and play that

Steph... I went 3 miles today in about 50 minutes.... and I held a 5lb weight in my hand the whole time... I went back and forth from my left to my right! Thought I was going to take turns with my sister in law.. and the witch says... no thanks.. I don't want to do that.... so of course, my arms will fall off tomorrow!! LOL

Me, Great Grannie, Mylee, madison and Gabrielle went to the Catholic Book Store in Baton Rouge.... the girls each got a children's bible.. different kinds, as they do many differnt stories...
I told G.G. we would go without children next time... there were so many statues and beautiful garden pieces.... my favorite, wasa a little fat angel baby with a lion under one wind and a baby lamb under the other... I must have it.... I told Madi, to tell MB all about it for my birthday!!!
