then we can decide....
Tina and Brenda want to come to our house one day to see all the kids, so I figure.... we can cook that evening..... and then head back to New Orleans... it's only like 45 minutes....

I had the blackened redfish topped with lump white crab meat.... caesar salad, creole (tomato) seafood gumbo.... and then
crepe Bridget (which was thin thin crepes rolled with whipped cheese cake, topped with chocolate and whipped topping....
OMG.. THANK GOODNESS WE ALL SHARED!!!!
UNREAL.... it ended up being like $150 a person.... ridiculous!
the next day we had our planning conference....
he handed everyone a $100 bill to gamble with! Woo Hoo!!!! we had fun! on the boss!

Ok, so I'm home....had another damned episode, so couldn't stay at my dad's another night; i didn't have my ativan for one thing, and for another, i'm basically comatose when I do take 'em, and i need to be "aware" of things....so sis had to come pick me up...i go back on tuesday; one good (great, in fact) thing is I don't think I need to call 911, or at least I'm gonna try not to...say prayers that I don't need to

Thanks Marci...the only really hard part is that Powder, right now, is pretty high maintenance with her cone head, wound care and more meds... due to her paw having an open wound...we did alternate the cone head with paw banadaging..but she started chewing the bandage off...Me and the animals turned in early last night due to me having, I believe, having a UTI...going to doc after work...

Had the big meeting here with the suits...1.5 hours....I had my lunch to microwave but by noon when the meeting let out..there were 70 people ready for lunch vs the normally staggered lunch times LOL...I went and bought a salad LOL

Yes, I have been to the sanctuary, Brenda! In Hohenwald (affectionately known as "Hole-in-the-wall) :)
I love elephants, so we made a special trip to see the sanctuary a few years ago. It's about an hour and a half from our house!
Remember the story on MSNBC about the elephant doing the self-portrait? They are so sweet!
And the world can definitely learn from an elephant whose best friend is a dog...that article was too sweet, Brenda! Thanks for sharing!
Hi everyone...just checking in before I read some and go to bed.
For some reason, I am ALREADY PMSing and am exhausted and bloated as hell. Remember in Dec how Tori and I messed up each others cycles...and Rayna was on her own. LOL! So, my uniform is tight and I am unpleasant at the moment.
Had an incredibly busy day at work and was unable to start my pkg. But, my command is onboard - they have to give the ok - so, overall AN INCREDIBLE DAY!!!

I LOST 3 LBS LAST WEEK !!!! I am down to 137 ... loving the cookbook ... we are having Black Bean soup, Ck Parmesan, Turkey/bacon sandwiches, and baked ziti this week ... it has really cute my grocery bill shopping w/ a menu and the calories are so doable ...
well off to do dishes and feed LOLA BELLE ... can i just say she adorable ... she is a great baby and i feel so blessed to have her and thanks for praying for her birth family and her new forever family ... i just know prayer really does make a difference !!!

Went to the doc...no infection...since we're all saying our prayers..say one for me..pray I don't have anything to pass LOL(last year I passed some stones..oh dear)
Yikes....that hurts, Brenda! I had a stone and a BAD kidney infection when I was pregnant with Ansley! That was fun! Hoping that's not what is happening with you! It felt like someone hit me in the small of my back with a bat! :(

I cant wait till this freaking dry weather goes away!! My lips chap, my hands are dry and itchy, my eyes burn and are red, and my NOSE plugs up. LOL... Its supposed to be 80 freakin degrees today!! WHERE DID OUR WINTER GO?!?

Well, I had an exciting 24 hours...had to go to the hospital again for my episode (was doing fine when sis and friend came and got me at dad's Sunday, but the damn thing came back at 2:30 this morning - woke me up, which it usually does -, so had to call 911); took me to Pomerado; paramedics said they take me to the closest hospital; and then they transferred me to Palomar (IN ESCONDIDO)....i got home about an hour ago...very tired now, so going to bed
LA, I'm SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited for you, that you can do your work from "home" now; can't wait to see the expression on the kids' faces (if you post pictures)

I'm going to look into switching my PC doc...don't feel safe at the clinic I go too...and that I'm getting managed care..I want to be in a place so that if this happens again, I can get answers...did I have kidney stones this time and last..or is there something going on with my kidneys?? Finally got oil changed in Mustang....I had about 10,000 miles since last change....OMG. I told my husband, that is man stuff! Not my area! I am tired, and ready to lie down and read. :)

Tina, very good about Fred. It is a lot more fun and less daunting to cook, if you have someone to clean up afterward.....I am just the opposite. If the kitchen is clean and I am hungry, I would rather be hungry that make it dirty!
My husband is a nut when he cleans the kitchen....all glasses in super straight lines in the cabinet, plates stacked according to size, etc. But hey, what about the countertops and the floor, laundry, bathrooms, etc?..... :) He is a dishes-only kind of guy! Every little bit helps!

I should clarify for all... Fred will clean anything EXCEPT after I cook... so... it makes me keep it on the easy side. I HATE doing dishes.

Yep, I just got the recording from the superintendent about school out....apparently we have 3000 students who attend class in portables, and the heating units on them will not compensate for single-digit cold...I am glad they are doing it. I can't even get my child to wear a coat....not enough room in his locker for it, so he would rather be cold for a minute or two.....such a guy! I would be WEARING my coat, all day long!!! It is too cold for anything alive, outside right now, and only dropping.

Made it here by 3! That was like in 6 and 1/2 hours...I am sitting here in bed with Dailen watching Clean House. I can't believe how big she is! Paul just took Rayna to the movies with friends and went to get a hair cut...Mackenzie is at a sleepover b-day party at the Opryland Hotel.
It is SO incredible to be home!
