Wow...I missed a lot last night!
Good Morning everyone! Happy Saturday!!! I have to get my butt in gear. We sold our livingroom set to a kid that works for me and I have to meet them at 11 at the storage unit.
They got a hell of a deal... couch w recliners loveseat with sleeper lamps tv entertainment center all for 300 bucks. Just enuff to recoup storage. Oh well...
Then meatball sandwiches and scrabble with the Storeys! LOL.
LeighAnn, I think any way you want to do the blog is fine. You put so much into it! Whatever is easiest for you!

Why would my cousin, Mark, be embarrassed about having cancer? The cousin that wrote me last night said that he is, and he/they would rather keep the news of him here in CA instead of sharing it with the fam in IL, OK and TX (I/we have two cousins and an aunt in OK, and a cousin in TX)....the only thing I can come up with for the embarrassment is Mark has smoked ever since I can remember, and he had a little control over getting cancer
Oh Kathi that's too bad he feels that way :( We will continue prayers!!

OK...who has my socks?? I have to stop my day in mid flow to wash a load of clothes because I have no socks..there were barely a few in the dirty clothes!! I want my socks and I want them now!! :P LMAO

OMG, I had such a great afternoon! I LOVE my hair!!!! I will work on a picture to post on my blog....
And, I bought some essentials at Clinique (going there always cheers me up!) I found an incredible handbag and scarf, and some new active wear for running. Also stopped at Starbucks to restock on my tea......now, back to work.....going to clean my house tonight and hopefully kick back and relax some. :) I am going to try a long run tomorrow. My husband makes fun of me bundling up to run....

I have about 35 seniors and 30 juniors... in my yard!!! OMG..
such fun....
I am sure they are drinking.... and hopefully some of them are designated drivers!!! b/c guess what....
Nonnie is NOT a designated driver tonight!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is actually my neighbor 2 houses down having hte party...
but all the ones that know KK are driving in my driveway and parking in my front yard!
I told them don't pull in across the street b/c the Biach will call the Po Po!!!!!
I know, Brenda; I don't think anyone should get embarrassed about getting sick... I'm thinking that Mark just wants it here in CA for now b/c we all grew up together and he knows us and vice versa

Just talked to my brother Ben...he's getting in tonight and will have off until Friday...so happy for him...time for him to relax from the road :)

Hi everyone!
Welllllllllllll..... I was standing on an incline- good leg on the downslope of the driveway, bad knee on the top side. I got a "hey girl" hip bump from a friend, which twisted the bad knee. In an effort to not hurt myself by landing on my bad knee again, I turned to land on my butt, and because of the slope, I broke my ankle on the inside of my right leg... I also then broke the outside of my right leg. Two breaks. The ankle will need a metal plate. I feel like my foot isn't attached. I am in a soft cast until I can see my surgeon that is fixing my knee. Since I am allergic to Coedine and all the family members... it is OTC Motrin to manage pain... which it doesn't manage. At all.
It is everything I can do not to drown this pain and annoyance in Ben & Jerrys and Whiskey.
