Powder has a habitual problem licking her paw...it started as a form of epilepsy before she went grand mal on us...we've always been able to contain the ouchie but this will be the second time it got away from us to where she needs cone head and meds :( Hmmm must think of a plan for the kids to keep Powder safe while we are away

I talked to LA! She was a bit tipsy...and sad.... but happy. Poor baby. Steve called and said "hey Tina... they are trash talkin you..." LA JUMPED on the phone. LOL. Good ole' Steve just KNEW we needed to talk to each other. :o)

Yes... LA said she didnt really believe it when she saw my post this morning about shopping with the girls... she still thought I was somehow gonna figure a way to go too. That made me tear all up...
I know... you are hating to miss that..... but so much with Christmas and everything...
she understands..... I am just glad someone extra is there with her going thru this rough patch....

My girls and i had a nice time... they got their ears pierced... again... and spent some of their christmas money...and when we got home daddy had a cake and i ran and wrapped presents. Then we all went to Red Lobster for dinner.
Just got off the phone with brenda. Leigh Ann went to bed... long day for her. Brenda couldnt find her winter jacket... so she is dressed in layers... poor baby will FREEZE

Thanks, Brenda! We had fun last night, and you are indeed a beautiful lady, inside and out! I loved finally getting to meet you and Steve! When Steve was in before, we were only there for a few minutes before I had to pack up for work the next morning...like last night. Well, sounds like you all turned in pretty early as well.

My poor Jenna cried herself to sleep last night cuz her best friend blew her off for her birthday! I layed with her for about an hour and rubbed her back. Finally got her settled down so she could sleep. Poor little thing. I wish we could just protect our babies from EVER having their feelings hurt EVER.

Well, Paul and Leigh Ann and Steve and Brenda headed out today, for Louisiana, so that leaves us open tonight. I think we are going to take the kids to the conservatory at Opryland, while they still have the lights up. That should be fun!

It was good, actually; the pizza place didn't have any drivers last night, so he was a little disappointed that he didn't get pizza, but all in all, it was good; we're both now over at my brother's in Carlsbad to watch the Rose Bowl

Kentwood is about 1 1/2 hours from our house.... we stayed the whole time at the wake.... actually it was a nice visit/remembrance for everyone.... Leigh Ann is doing really good as the rest of her family as well... Brenda and Steve, just made my day to meet them.... fantastic wonderful, warm people.... and I think I got plenty of hugs.... I told them you were thinking of them Kathi, and also that I had talked to tina as well....
I'll be posting a really great picture of the 3 of us....

I'm back here at Dad's...only lasted until halftime of the RB; but we did end up having pizza tonight for dinner, and didn't even have to have it delivered (had one in the outside freezer); I traded with my sister for tonight also; but will go home tomorrow

We finally made our sausage balls and stuffed mushrooms, planned for New Year's, before I had to throw out the ingredients...LOL!
I am working today till 11, then going to niece's 13th birthday party and taking my dad his scrapbook.

I have a bunch of stuff to do to get ready to go back to work monday... fun fun. Am also gonna get Fred to go to the gym with me again today. Will be nice when Brenda is back and we can get back into our routine!

I thought Mike and Gabs went to the camp.... OMG, don't EVER call Paul during a Charger game, ESPECIALLY during the playoffs...Tina, Bren and I (and obviously his own wife) all have known Paul for a very long time and know how he is with HIS Chargers
Hello all...it's 12:40 AM here and Steve is watching the game on play back...feeding me the details...I heard the results and OT status on the plane thanks to the pilot...Steve was sleeping when the announcement came on...What a game huh!!
Will do some decompressing here at home for awhile before I'm ready to turn in...
