LOL Marci! Cute butts versus cute bananas...you have heard of "good naked" and "bad naked". I can only imagine...HA HA HA! All of this is good stuff, to distract me when the going gets rough during the race! Thanks for the imagery!

So very exciting for KK, and for dad! Southern ladies are definitely the total package, aren't they? Beautiful, smart, and can kill meat and cook it for dinner! :)

Greetings from Tehachapi! I swear, I will never complain how cold it is in SD again, after being here for not even 24 hours...OMG (just to give you a hint...I have TWO pairs of socks on and TWO turtle neck shirts - one's a moderately heavy sweater - on); I also have gloves and a beanie cap with me (BRRRRRRRRRRR); things are going pretty well; the party's tonight...the cousins that are coming are on their way here now; should be pretty fun. I took some pics of the snow with my cell phone, so I'll email them to you, LA, and hopefully you'll be able to put them up (they're gonna be huge files though, so it may not work); will probably post again when I get back home sometime tomorrow...love you guys

Noboyz said...

glad you are having a good time Kathi... keep warm... we can't have you sick again....

Steph,
Damn, I missed it...had MIL's side of the family Christmas and then dropped Rayna and Mackenzie off - they will be with Gwen for four days for all sports camp.

Kathi,
Yes, keep warm - I think our high tomorrow is supposed to be 30!

Marci,
OMG about the deer!

Tina,
Cookies sound fun - I have to figure out when we are going to do that.

Brenda,
Have you shopped till you've dropped?

Well, I am going to put the edge on Mackenzie's poncho tonight in front of the fireplace with a cold adult beverage:)

Stephanie said...

Well, the 10K in Charleston is only a little over 6 miles, so not really a marathon...but it will be a good warm-up for the half in Nashville, right?

Thanks for the support!!!

Leigh Ann said...

Good Morning All!

Stephanie, how are you this a.m.?

Oh, Marci, I will be thinking of all of you today:(

Tina and Brenda, enjoy the cookie decorating!

Kathi, hope you are having a good time.

Noboyz said...

sounds like Steph may have a hangover???? LOL
did you two get in trouble????

Leigh Ann, will be thinking of you today too wishing you could be with us... we will take plenty of pictures....

Tina, amazing with the marathon scarfing1!! lol

Brenda, sounds like you had a FULL day getting everything done...

Kathi, be careful traveling home today.. ( I think she will be traveling)

Leigh Ann said...

LOL...no, I haven't see Stephanie yet...I just saw that she was the first post this morning... hopefully we will be getting into some trouble in the near future:P

Stephanie said...

No, no hangover this morning, unfortunately...as you can see, I have not seen Leigh Ann yet, and she is the only one I drink with, so... :)

I did a timed run this morning, (4 miles in 40 minutes) and now I am working.

Stephanie said...

BTW, that was tough for me to admit....I would like to do 4 miles in 30 minutes, then go from there. It was so cold this morning...excuses, excuses!

Leigh Ann said...

It is very cold with the wind chill and gusts...I still think that is an awesome run! Remind me when we get together to show you this running plan that my personal trainer put together. I know that my times are much slower and it is based on our PRT mile and a half, but the theory is pretty neat. I haven't tried it yet, I am scared! LOL!!!

Stephanie said...

That would be cool. I think a little organization is all I need, then watch out! :)

I normally run just at a pace that feels comfortable, which usually ends up being 10-minute miles. I need to push. I do not plan to take 2 and a half hours to run 13 miles this April.

Tina said...

Morning Ladies!! Steph, I am sooo jealous that you GET to drink with LeighAnn!! It has always been one of my FAVORITE things to do... LOL.

Brenda, Fred and I had a great time relaxing with you and Steve last night and I am glad you guys like your scarfs!!

Marci!! MMMMMM Im coming to YOUR house for food!! YUMMMMMM

Well just took a break from cookie baking. Got up at 7:00 so they have time to cool before the crowd shows up at 10:00 to decorate them and watch the game...

72 cookies already baked...Now for the NEXT 72. HAHAHA.

Leigh Ann said...

That is funny Tina...drinking with me - I am glad it is one of your favorite things to do! LOL...wish I was there helping ya'll decorate cookies!

Noboyz said...

Tina...what a fun day we had decorating cookies with you!! Thanks for all the fun!!

Stephanie said...

Wow...it is 10 degrees here, wind chill of -1 F.

I tried to go out at 0530 to drop off work to a lady who drives in to the office in Nashville every day. It has been working well, with the exception of today, when my car will not move because the parking brake is frozen (per my husband's diagnosis). I put it in reverse and started to back out, and I was like, "what's that burning smell?". She had to come to my house to pick it up...how lame of me. What an excuse!

Needless to say, there will be no outside running today!

It's only going to 27 today. Fingers crossed, that my car thaws out soon, if at all today...

Kathi said...

MAN, Steph...I didn't think it got THAT cold there!!! Your poor car...

Say prayers today...my aunt's funeral is in an hour in Chicago
