I DID get most of the holiday decor done into the night...wanted to go light this year on it BUT being it's Allyson's last official living at home and leaving for the first time Christmas...I drug it all out :) still have one container I can't get to yet...but this weekend FOR SURE!

We are doing the same things today - nails and shopping:)
I found the park; although the game is TOMORROW!!! sO, I stayed and watched practice (I rented another car to get to the holiday party I went to with my friend who's in a wheelchair - Bren, the one the jipped me from the scooter - but I just took it back, so I won't be going to the game tomorrow)

I'm here at Dad's the entire weekend (might go home tomorrow and then come back in the evening), since my sister's in Chicago (she called me at 1:30 to let me know that she made it in ok), I don't know what the hell my brother's doing (the one here in Carlsbad) and my other brother is I think on a business trip :(....so no help at all this weekend :(; but we're having Baked Spaghetti (and a salad, of course) for dinner

Good morning, all.
I am cleaning and making pancakes, and finishing up tweaking my son's Powerpoint presentation on the earth's rotational axis around the sun, and how it affects the seasons. (I recall styrofoam balls, and posterboard when I did it..I am just an "ancient", aren't I?)
In a bit, I am going to brave the cold to do some bleachers this morning...AFTER it gets above 30!!!
Hey all, I've had a rough little weekend! sick again.... I really am thinking food poisoning... it was worse than that virus I had last month... UGH!!!!!!!!!! My joints hurt so badly, I think I was dehydrated... MB got me some vitamin water.... and I feel a little better this morning... (he told me I was in detox from no beers for 3 days!!! LOL) (TURD)
Steph, I just think it's ridiculous that they think these kids can do all these projects by themselves... it's crazy!

Tina, 2 of the girls I work with their little ones are within 2 days of Christmas... and trying to plan b'day parties and such is a pain as well.... so expensive this time and then buying b'day presents as well!!!!
Marci, that bites about your tummy. I hope you are better soon. Stay flat and rest, since you got all of that shopping done...you are way ahead of the game.
I just got back from the bleachers. It wasn't so bad. I ran 5 miles in 42 minutes, then ran bleachers for 20 minutes. Weird, no problems with my lungs today, in the cold. It felt great!

Well, it does look like I'll be getting help; my brother in OC is coming down in about an hour with one or two of his girls; not sure if I'm gonna go home while they're here, or just stay..I'm really getting sick of this back and forth stuff when I'm here for two consecutive days....but the good thing is...I'M GOING HOME TOMORROW!!!
Steph, I think the cold is great for your lungs...it is for my asthma when it gets really bad; not sure why, just know that it is

I've been running errands for the last 3/12 hours LOL...took a slight break and now off to Ikebana class in a bit then to see a friend sing in a Christmas program...I have a feeling they are gonna knock the socks off the audience...I just have this feeling...they have been practicing this event for 6 weeks!!!
It's looking like storm weather here...Oh please let it be!!!!! :)

Well, I had a very nice time with my brother and nieces here; they were down for my nephew's baseball game (the one that we thought was yesterday) and came over here...my brother put up Dad's outside Christmas lights and the younger of the two nieces and I partially decorated "Papa's" tree, listening to Christmas music while doing it; it even got me into the mood a little bit; might put stuff out when i get home tomorrow
