Just got home from Jenna's first volleyball game. She ROCKED!! She was a starter... rotated in most... and got to serve for the win!! Had 6 points off her serve! YA!

I was up 1/2 lb. I dont even wanna LOOK at the scale this week with only 1 day at the gym. But I do have a double header with soccer tomorrow... a game at 7 and one at 9... so... THATS good excersize. LOL

LEIGH ANN!! :D Glad to have you back. Oh, don't worry about worrying me..I had the girls to calm me down (and slap me with a wet noodle if need be); stats, what stats...lol. Just call me fat and sassy (no, I haven't weighed myself in ages, but do feel the weight slowly creepin on since I'm so sedentary now)
Girls, someone responded to my ad on craigslist WITHIN AN HOUR of me putting it up..but she sounds really young (according to Mom) and inexperienced, so not sure if I'll go with her; then earlier this evening, a dad of another girls, who works in this field for the state and is currently going to SDSU, responded. So, if the first gal isn't experienced, I may go with the other one. Feeling somewhat relieved that that is getting to be finished.
Whew, glad to know I didn't offend with BO, Leigh Ann! I am sure those people at the desk in Columbia were like, dang...look at her. Amazing how some folks walk around in public ...
But, in my mind, I know that I spent more on 1.8 ounces of my Lancome perfume than those country girls spent all year on soap! Ha Ha!
EEEEEEWWWWWWW!! I can just imagine them with overalls on and missing teeth...lol. Is Columbia in TN?
It seems that everyone I have ever met from out of state, thinks that all people from Tennessee wear overalls, and have teeth missing. Also, we don't wear shoes, and our family of 15 sits on the front porch every night in our rocking chairs, drinking moonshine. HA HA.
Are all girls from California made of plastic, and the boys are all pot-head surfer dudes? HA HA!
There are actually some pretty smart, very pretty girls here in Tennessee, (I personally have some book-learnin') and dental hygiene is a individual thing, so I can only speak for myself in saying that I have all of my teeth, and they are currently in good repair.
(Sorry if that sounded ugly, Kathi, but that struck a nerve when you said that, because like I said, I hear it all of the time...)

HMMMMM.... stereotype people! that's very true though... you get an image of what certain groups of people look like and stick with it....
Look at Louisiana... it seems they interview every person that can't talk, no teeth, and screaming about the government not giving them enough!

I think Kathi's comment was misunderstood. If I understand what she was referring to... it was Steph's remark about her 1.8 oz of some perfume being more expensive than what these other women spend on soap in a year. I think Kathi took that to mean they dont buy soap... when really Steph was simply saying she doused herself in perfume BEFORE going to get LA. For the record... i had to read it twice too before I understood why Steph got bent outta shape by Kathi's comment.
My 2 cents worth anyway.
Oh... yes...i'm plastic. hahaha
No, I didn't put on any perfume before going to get Leigh Ann, I was merely stating that those girls who gave me "the eye" when I walked up in a sweaty t-shirt and wearing no makeup, did not appear to spend much money or effort on their appearance.
Sorry if I got bent outta shape. :) It's all good...

I was ready to open all my windows this weekend and really clean my house.... the nasty weather has all my ceramic and wood floors GROSS... can't mop right now, b/c they don't dry good with the humidity.
I have to light smell good candles!!!!!! LOL
Smell good candles will work till the weather improves! hehe.
hey... would one of those De-humidifiers help dry things out? I was just thinkin about that...
I don't think so... b/c everything gets so damn "wet" here....
it's a different kind of hot and humidity.... mold grows so fast....
I think I will order me a shop vac though... to do certain things.....

Steph, NO; I wasn't bashing TN in general..I'm sure you all are awesome folks and I have friends that live there, besides you and LA...I was just making a stereotypical comment on the people of Columbia (imagining it being in the middle of nowhere, fields of corn beyond eyesight, and that's where the overalls and missing teeth came in); the only thing that's "different" from CA is it's GREEN there, not the ugly brown we have (for lack of rain); so I do apologize if I offended you in any way.

I cant believe we won both our games last night. WOW... it was amazing.

Well... back from nails - skipped gym - will go tomorrow. Now to the soccer field WHEEEE
I got up and got my exercise out of the way this morning. We hit the trails at 0800, John walking with the kids and I running. When we left at 0930, it was already 85 degrees, and humid...it's a hot one here today.
Leigh Ann, I did 3 weight circuits this week, and ran 15 miles.
I assume you are in Pensacola this weekend...what's it doing down there? I saw some footage of what I believe was Pensacola, with really pounding waves. Just wondering. How are you?

And yes, I am in Pensacola this weekend. I will fly into Nashville a week from today from Norfolk, VA - cause I leave for there on Tuesday...just booked my flight home - I return on the 24th - geez, probably more than you wanted to know:)
