I will be okay Leigh Ann, there was very little swelling so I took some motrin and went to bed.
Plan to do some shopping, get my nails done, and hit the gym. We might get together with the Storey's tonight... have to see how it goes.

I was letting my hair grow out, it was about at my shoulders.... and yes, chopped it all off... VERY short.... but its easy and I like it....
The others need to share first days as well!!!! I was a little tipsy last night... but I think I recall posting a few pictures on my blog... LMAO
HAHAHA... no Marci... THANK GOD its not on tape!! It was not a graceful NOR attractive dive... hahaha. Much Uglier was when i cleared the ball, rolled my ankle, tried to stop putting weight on it while my OTHER foot was in the air...down I went on my BUTT. Right there in front of Fred Steve and Brenda!!! Fred said it was like "one second you were there...then poof your gone... look down - youre sitting on the turf" LOL
We havent started school... but IF my bratty girls will let me take pictures... I will!!!
Hey all!! Thought I'd take a break from vaccuuming to log on...I'm down one pound WOOHOO!! Steve and I went to Torrey Pines State Beach this AM...we walked together for some time on the shoreline...then in I went into the waves... sometimes it was knee deep...other times thigh deep LMAO!!!! Walked parallel to shore back for some time...then back on to shoreline with Steve...I was way too tired to walk through the soft sand as I had wanted to...but..in time :) One of the BEST workouts I have ever done...it worked the entire body to walk through the waves
Tina...poor sweet Tina she took lots for the team last night...wasn't sure we would make it with Steve just coming home...but that was what he wanted to do...made for a nice date night :)
Marci...I'm sure your hair looks cute :) you look good with short hair!! LOL I liked your tipsy comments
Leighann...how was the dinner out last night?? Are you all watching the kiddies soccor today!!

I guess my shopping took too long for fred so he already went for his run... Looks like no gym for me today... boo hoo.
LeighAnn... Im flat. Go freaking figure... Im about to change my stupid goal from weight loss to just getting to the gym. THIS SHIT is frustrating! I know I am healthier than I have EVER been... yet here I am unable to lose a single freaking pound. Oh well... tomorrow i will have been smoke free for ONE WHOLE YEAR!!! THAT is something I can celebrate!!!
There you go Tina...smoke free for one year is a major accomplishment
so this is a grand celebration for you!!! So very proud of you!! Fred needs to buy you a BAG not a purse but a BAG and a grand one LOL
HAHAHA! Yes... a real "bag". hehehe. Too funny!! Just got back from Costco and Ralphs... now off to wash freds car, then back to wrap and hide his Bday presents. :o)

No Brenda... its Tuesday the 12th...and so he doesnt get "suspicious" i got him a shirt and some boxers and a pair of shorts. Now... for his PARTY - Im getting a bucket of stuff for his car, like a new sponge and absorber, some wheel treatment, some air freshner, etc etc. cuz the man is ALWAYS washing/cleaning that CRV. Ha

I was in the pool all day today.. once the mattress arrived at 2ish...
MB bbq'd tonight.... pineapple and chicken.. that's me...
he also did sausage.. stuffed chicken breast.... pork chopps...
I typed stuffed children at first!!! LMAO.. I crack myself up with my typos!!!!!

Bren, foot's ok. Stayed off of it ALL DAY (so needless to say, I haven't eaten all day :( ) today, so it doesn't hurt quite as bad; still waiting to hear back from my podiatrist to see what he thinks the next move is (should be)...
can't wait to hear about the party for Fred!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRED!!!!

I left the house at 11:22am and got into my exactly 6 hours later -so, not too bad and not a DROP of rain.

yes, they have been in bed about 20 minutes now....
the bus doesnt come until about 8.... so we have an easy morning....
I will wake them about 6:30 ish.... and get them moving....
I have to drop MYlee off after that and be at work by 8:30... we shalll see what happens!!!!! LOL
Good morning everyone...we are just back. I have been incredibly busy and off line... We took off for Charleston, SC on Thursday afternoon to see some friends. I made an executive decision and allowed Jonathan to miss Friday, which was a 2-hour day for him, so we could have a little family time before school started. So, today is technically his first day and I am going with him to make sure he is not lost in the shuffle and finds homeroom okay. He already had orientation back at the end of last school year. They did an "incoming freshman" field trip there. :)
We had a WONDERFUL time at the beach and on our friends' boat on Ashley River! It was nice to have a late summer long weekend at the beach, now it's back to business for all of us...Ansley was funny in the waves, and a terror for me on the boat...the little strap that went between her legs on her life jacket made a great handle for me. I was holding her by it the entire time! She could not understand why dad and Jon-Jon were in the water and she couldn't be...Jonathan and dad swam in the Atlantic (not too far out!!) and then on a sand bar in the river. We are all sunburned in spite of sunblock, and had a blast!
A funny moment was, Jonathan had on his goggles in the river, and he said he went under and opened his eyes, and he saw a fish swim by his face! I freaked out...I said, "How big was it?", and he said, "about that big", and held up his thumb and pointer finger, the distance of about 3 inches! I laughed hard at that one! I told him that was no fish...it was fish bait!
Leigh Ann, for the ticker, I only did 3 circuits last week, but I did get to do some Pilates in Charleston so I wasnt a total bum all weekend. I just stuck to chicken and veggies to eat...traveling does funny things to your diet/appetite, so I was careful!
