LA... took care of the speeding ticket, $186!!!!
no bench warrant was issued, just a curtesy letter.... I told her it was though... and now, she has a "hardship" license, and can only drive to and from work and school or she gets arrested!!! I"m mean....

Sam got the speeding ticket back in May, well needless to say... the officer told her, you will pay thru your insurance... and you don't have to go to court.... well she thought State Farm would bill her for the ticket!!1 (yes, a dingy blonde).... so she didn't worry....
until the bench warrant for arrest came thru the mail.... she was balistic... and I am not letting her off easy... I am playing it up big time... told her the cops said she could only drive to and from work and school!!!! LOL

they are shipping some generators to the Naval Base in Pensacola for the swimming pools and building!!!
He told them he would go service them and hook them up if necessary!!! You may get a hug soon from my end!!! LOL
Brenda, Mike is a supervisor at Welch Generators now National Oil Varco.... he also works on the generators when they can't figure out what's wrong.... oh, and "Safety Coordinator".. he loves that title!!!!
I'm very proud of him, he switched companies after 10+ with another, and going no where... and in 4 1/2 years has really moved up the chain... (Proud Wife!!!!).. clap clap clap...

Morning ladies! Well I am back to work after my 4 day weekend. *sigh* Lots to do... no time to do it in... :o)
Brenda, the entertainment last weekend didnt happen...we got rained and clouded out...company didnt come but the skies cleared later on and just us the four of us had a good time grilling and swimming. It was a fun day after all!

Brenda, yes the wax hurts, but it's wonderful to not have to be mean to your bikini line for 2 weeks, shaving all of the time!!
However, if you are fair-skinned and your skin irritates easily, you could walk around with angry red strips for days after waxing. Which stinks.

I have to clarify, that I do my own; I have never had it done professionally, either. That is GROSS! I guess if anyone has seen Sex in the City, they know the process for getting waxed down there in a salon. You lay there naked from the waist down on a table and with your knees to your chest while the technician waxes you...not for me. Nobody is coming near me in that way, unless she has a LOT of letters after her name! :)

Tori will be home on Thursday...did you guys read/hear about the massive toxic spill around Lexington? Tori was held up for hours, like six, last week in it all. Whatever it was spilled it would have turned into some type of acid if it got wet - it made it to CNN.

I'm taking my brother to Fontana after work tomorrow...it was going to be Steve but the drop off hours for Ben are 3-8...Steve thought it was in the AM...since Steve has to teach at night....I'll do it...we'll finish up the school shopping after Dana's birthday dinner tonight...got my brother's "bed roll" all ready also...he's going directly onto the road after the school/hotel which is 2 weeks long...and I put together a shower bag for him...Ben will be sleeping in the rig (they have sleeping quarters in the back of these trucks) then at truck stops, he'll use their showers (that's why he needs shower shoes) good grief, this is like sending a kid off to college LOL....time and $$$$$$$$

Just got back from Gwens (sister in law's) and we had a good time in the pool!
Fed the kids some left over chicken that I grilled last night...
Paul was able to read at Gwens so hopefully we can work on the deck some - I don't think it will be done by the time Steve gets here, but oh well!

that was me...I chickened out LOL it was work dirt....BUT if anyone ever needs a helping hand..by gosh, my husband is the one to call...there seem to be no boundaries...you know I'm taking my brother to his school after work.....well my husband..gave my brother his ATM card..he said for my brother to call first but it's there for emergencies...UGH!!! We have already given him cash for his dinners at the school (the school doesn't pay for them) but once school is over, he hits the road with no paycheck for 2 weeks....I'm just venting girls...I love both my husband and brother...BUT :) could we not have made sandwiches and had an ice chest

I had a SERIOUS meltdown in the car on the way home with my sister; about my dad; he's getting worse (it seems like EVERYDAY now); it was good to get some of it out, and it was the first time I've been able to get some of it out; but I got so much more "penned" up inside, it feels like I'm gonna explode. I REALLY need to talk to someone; either one of you guys, or a professional; I'm gonna google the local Alzheimer's Foundation here and see if I can talk to a counselor or somebody about people that have this, and see how to handle it better, cuz I really don't know how, w/o getting frustrated myself...which adds to the aggravation to my mom...I NEED HELP!!!! LA or Bren, would it be OK if I call one of you guys? I don't know when, but I'd like to do it soon

Yesterday, I was staining away (I HATE STAINING) anyway - and Mackenzie came barreling through with the rest of her soccer car pool. I guess it was imperative that I switch the sleep over arrangements with Carmen and explain to them just who was coming Saturday Night.
She Said,
"I tried to tell them that my Godfather was coming from San Diego to see us and would only be her for ONE night...but they didn't get it. Could you tell Carmen's mom so that she can stay with us so I will be here..."
