She did call me back and said that she had talked to other neighbors and had asked if they could also watch out and take care of her... I felt better after that, but still... She's gonna come on Tuesday and pick her up (at least I hope so); if not, the HOA will call the Humane Society or whatever.. we don't have a front office because these are condos and independently owned..some of the owners live offsite (those who rent their condos out)

Hi all! Didnt play much... the show was GREAT!! Laid by the pool and got a sun BURN. *ouch* Had dinner with my sis and BIL... then watched my niece's dance recital. It was a fun trip. Pics are on my blog. :o)

I'll have to play the gym by ear...they are retired military so they have ID cards to get onto the base...but not sure if they want to work out...I can play it by ear, in case they want to go :D
Kathi...it's the base gym...you have to have a military ID card to get in the gym :( Unless your dad is retired and you have an ID??
Yep....will take you to the recycle and bank...just call me...needs to be in the AM though..after that...I have things to wrap up before we go to the airport

So, how did it go, first day, Leigh Ann? I can only imagine all of the details of check in for you. Yours can't be like a regular person's first day at a new job...I suppose that could be good, or bad! :)
It was ok...seems like an ok place - but it's all I can do to make to my room before I bust out in tears:(
The kids and I, along with Paul, Skyped last night and that was so much fun!
Paul said tonight at dinner, Dailen said that whoever missed Mom to raise thier hand...he said she had mentioned it earlier, too.
Tori and Rayna crack me up, cause the still call me to ask me if they can do stuff and I am like - you have to ask your dad...lol.
Paul is swamped with homework...things are stressful!

It will be a four day weekend and I am so excited...maybe then.

I'm glad you had an OK day. Is PCola a big base (you have to drive to get to and from your room)? I would imagine so, but don't know for sure. Also very glad you have Skype set up...seen that on Oprah a couple of times; seems like a great communication device. Is that through the internet?
Oh, Dailen is such a sweetie. She is looking for support from her team. I am sure it was a unanimous vote! Hold out for that long weekend! I am sure it is a rude awakening for Paul, too, jumping back into homework and all of the daily details...

As for me, I scored my first goal today in my work soccer team. It's about time!
Other than that I have been out of touch because I got the ticket and went and bought a dress for the wedding. I am off on Thursday and will be back next week. I just didn't want to regret not going.
Sounds like everybody had a tough Monday, hopefully the week gets smoother as we approach the weekend.

What's that for? I hate it when docs take their time writing scrips; that, or they question why you need it .... JUST GIVE ME THE DAMN SCRIPT...lol
Oh I have a problem getting a med myself, b/c my neurologist perscriped the ativan originally, so my primary says that I have to go through him to get refills...but then when I ask my neuro for it, HE says I have to go through my primary .... I finally get tough and say "I'm not gonna be bounced around, I need the medicine"
Speaking of meds, I have to go up and get some - trying to get refills before the trip, so I have them

My lucky day was when LA told me she quit smoking using Chantix (which i then tried and have been smoke free since aug 07)
And LA's lucky day was when I told her that my endocronologist INSISTS I take Levoxyl as the generic Synthroid never got me regulated - so she talked to her doctor and was normal in NO TIME!!
THATS a win win!

You lost a 50-picture slide show, Leigh Ann? Gaaah-leeeee! Wonder why it does that sometimes? How is Paul's tummy? Do you think it is viral, or bacterial? I was just reading about a huge beef recall...if it's not my beloved tomatoes, it's beef...what's next? I can grow my own tomatoes, but hey...I don't have room for a cow.
Tina, I will be right there alongside Fred and the other working stiffs this 4th. I am working early and late, so I can at least get in some pool time today with the family. I think we are going to a local olympic size outdoor pool, so Jonathan can have some high-diving board time...thanks to my husband, he swims like a fish. I know eventually I will have to let him take the baby out there, but no time soon. :) I like the kiddie pool for her, with the fountain, and 4 inches of H2O.

Yes, we made it to the pool. We stayed for a few hours and now we are back. I am just putting the finishing touches on my work, John is cooking dinner and I hope to be watching my movie in approx. 1 hour (Pan's Labyrinth).

Yeah, no doubt; although sometimes we get VERY humid here...we get the monsoon seasons' humidity and stuff that comes from the tropics (Hawaii)

The deck is done except for the little rails that go between the posts and Paul and Fredy are going to finish those up before the party!!!
I think I need more furniture now...lol!
