Wow just checked the weather there - 90's' with 50% humidity - that is hot for ya'll!
Hey LA... it was 97 yesterday and due to be as hot today... cooling should start Monday. Whew! about 20% humidity... fire dangers are high again... No AC and too hot for fans... Congrats on being flat. Me too. :o)

Rayna was off for only a week and has started again...I am pretty sure it's normal and will ask her doc but just wanted to get the scope from those in the know:)
Tori was always regular...at least she never told me different - I am going to ask her when she wakes up.
gosh Leighann...I'm pretty sure they were pretty irregular with both girls...I recal for me it was that way too

BUT...will be about 82ish on the coast of Del Mar today...LOL...it was yesterday...we'll see today for the fair...see you in a few TIna
LA, I get my period every three weeks; I've always been irregular; and now they're becoming so incredibly painful (before I actually get them); I wouldn't worry too much unless it's a constant thing

The Dads and girls were putting the ladder up and the thunder came and then the rain...now they are making a HUGE pallet on the living room floor waiting out the weather:)

Samantha did not get hers until she was 16... b/c of her muscle mass in her body from gymnastics.. KK was about right behind her.. she was 14.... we were all screwed up until we regulated each other... then we all fell off the roof with in a week of each other...
I love the pallet on the floor...
Mike and I went to Lowes and got new light fixtures for both bathrooms...
My dryer went out and I loaded up all clothes and Sam and I got it done in about 3 hours.... Mike has my dryer running again.. :)

Hi everyone... back from a great day at the fair!
LeighAnn... my girls were irregular for the first year...and now a bit more regular... but not Clockwork. ha
Brenda and I got you a cooooool present at the fair. I will put it in the mail either Monday or Tues. Hopefully Monday! You will simply love it!!!

Very odd when we came home...my brother is babysitting one of Lisa's kids...Benjamin...he's not quite 2yrs old...calls my bro DADDY!!!!! I know I know...his name is like my brother's ...Bennett and he's calling him daddy....Thank God...Benjamin doesn't look anything like my brother OR his mom!!!! Ben says it's because he gets confused because their names are the same...Hmmmmmmmm

Yikes, California girls...it sounds miserable hot out there. I hope everyone stays cool, and there are no fires. :o
Very cool about your niece, Marci! And dang it about the appliance (dryer). It's always something, huh? I am keeping a line of credit open at HH Gregg (appliance store) for when my poor fridge finally keels over. It's 10 years old...it's just the standard over-and-under (but it has been a good one). I want a BIG, BIG stainless one, side-by-side next time. ;) Of course, all of my other white appliances will have to be changed out then!
Brenda, hope the fair goes well today. I wish I was doing that, instead of what I am doing!
Leigh Ann, in addition to my running, I am doing weight circuits. You know this...run a mile or so, then jump off and lift until I feel my heart rate going down, the jump back on for another quick mile...I am basically doing a combination of upper and lower body weights every single day, and am wondering if this is more effective, versus different body parts on different days. What do you think? I am doing high reps, low weight for definition.

Mike and I are supposed to start our trainingtoday.... but he got calledout at 4 a.m. this morning and still out... he'll be pooped again... I may just go strolling with Mylee June this afternoon. :)

Same for me. I must not be trying hard enough. At least I am not gaining.
It may be hot out here, but I am loving it. We went to the beach yesterday at 6:30 an we got to go in the water. It was amazing.

HI all!!
Got up this morning and hit the gym with Brenda Fred and Steve. Had a great workout! Came home and had some lunch...now... gonna shower, nap a bit and then start planning food etc. to take on our vacation. I figure since the condo has a great kitchen... if we eat breakfasts and lunches "in"... we can go have NICE dinners out. haha.

Tina...thanks to you and Fred for the gym fun...remember what you said about shingles....OMG...I think Steve has Shingles!!!! his left side has these medium sized bumps that are the appearance of chicken pox!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They run from the belly button on up his left side :( Oh know!!!

The birthday party was a lot of fun...played with Savannah and tried to hold Maggie some, but she is still shy around me.
Mackenzie played with Jeremiah and his friends in and out of the pool.
Elijah and Dailen are usaully unseperabel, but there was a lot of kids and activities. Dailen just swam and swam.
I got in a few times with Paul and laid out some...fun was had by all:)

And Emily is a sweetie and gives hugs and kisses before she is off again:)

Brenda, I don't mean to ask a dumb question, but do they not sell "window units" out there? I passed two pallets of them in the main aisle at Wal-Mart today, (they were small ones, for $80) and then two more of box fans! This made me think of you... I would buy one of those little A/C units and put it in my bedroom window, and hole up in there! :)
And thank you for the encouragement about my workouts. It is hard to avoid burnout and I am just trying to work some new stuff in to keep it interesting. Hence, the weights (huff, puff!)
After what I did to my legs today, if I am not sore tomorrow, I am going to be MAD! :)
LOL...Steph...yes, I like that ...keep it interesting :) you earned sore muscles damit!! At some point we may get something on wheels to cool the room we are in...but we stay in the family room most of the time and our doors are open due to the pets...and folks in and out..then we have cathedral ceilings in the living room which is sort of connected to the family room...UGH!!!!
Marci...feel so bad for those young folks going through that grief and the families :(

Okay Brenda, shingles are bad, especially if he is around someone who never had the chicken pox. And it is very contagious. A co worker was out for 3 weeks because of that. Are you positive that's what it is? And the heat is probably making him miserable. But I Think it's supposed to cool down tomorrow. I hope he is alright.
And Marci, I am sorry to hear about that terrible accident at so young. He will be in my prayers.

Yes...I did more reading on Shignles...we are pretty sure now that's what it is...now that we are looking at the bumps (pre blister stage) and combining that with his symptoms...he's going to the doc tomorrow, for sure!!

Does anyone know where to take recycles? Tina and Bren, the MM park and ride....is that where I would take it? I know there's a Good Will thing there, but not sure about recycles; i'm not ready to take it yet (I almost have two full trash bags of plastics..waiting to fill up the second bag), just for future reference
