OK Ladies Here We Go Again!!!

Tina said...

...uh... here we go STILL. hahahaha! ((HUGS))

Leigh Ann said...

You crack me up...yes...
still...what is the other option? LOL

Tina said...

The OTHER option... would be to sit around...forget watching our calories consumed and burned... and simply watch our butt's grow friends. LOL!!! NOT a good option... from either view (coming OR going) hahahahohohohehehehe

hello to all...sorry for the delay but it's crunch time with all the fair activities...not sure if you got my weigh in Leighann...I was 1/2 pound down.....BUT...I was wrong :( sadly I looked at my memo pad where I write down my weight...I'm not down at all...I'm the same LOL...sorry!!!

So happy to hear of Steph's visit now with the Wrather family...Crystal your the next blogger now to visit :) It's so much fun hearing the updates!!

Thank "you" TIna for inviting us to play in your new paradise out back with all the new plants!! It's absolutely LOVELY and so serene ...sigh...

Sad news to report on my front...my brother put all his energy into this one trucking company..and it has fallen through...he has an 8 month gap in employment and this company is very strict since 9/11 ...guess caring for his gravely ill wife and then grieving wasn't justified SO he has applied to a company in Arizona....and still lives with us until something comes along...meanwhile..the car we gave him (my old Saturn..Professor Plum) has died!!! He thinks he may be able to tackle the major problem it has...otherwise..we have to because we want him to have transportation to drive out of town LOL...He's been so good in helping us with SO much that I'm not too anxious about getting him on the road..but for his sake ..it needs to happen soon :) OK..enough of my rambling..luv you all

Tina said...

Brenda - we LOVED having you over! I just put some of the pictures on my blog. I included the one of Fred and Steve doing their "Captain Morgan" impression!! TOO funny! I will keep my fingers crossed for Bennet. He is a very nice man and deserves something good to come along.

Anonymous said...

Tina...I was just on your blog :) and left a comment LOL ...thank you for your kind words on my brother :) And give Zach a birthday hug from us... :D you'll have to fill us in on the birthday...day

Leighann...I know your goods are safe and sound in your HOME!! did you found it as you left it :) I'm sooo excited for you ....I'll be thinking of you tomorrow unpacking and finding homes for all your treasures :D By now you're relaxing with Steph and her family~ hello to everyone!!

Leigh Ann said...

Hi Brenda,
Yes, we are here with the Perdues and are fixin to view the pics from the party...

Sorry to hear about your brothers job.

Tina,
LOL about the butts and the friends...

Tina said...

Well... enjoy Steph and her family. I am glad that the friends who have missed you for so long are getting to enjoy you again....BUT... I wish it was JUST a visit. *sigh* Love You guys! Hi Everyone else! Love you too! lol hahahahehehe

Noboyz said...

Hey ladies...
my visit came and went to fast...
I wish I would have had a few days to "play" with The Wrathers..

Tina, your plants are gorgeous... I just saw your slideshow... nice.
:)

Happy Birthday to ZACH!!!!

Kathi said...

Happy Birthday, Zach! OMG; I can't believe he's 18. Are you gonna allow him to take the day off of school?

Marci, nothing new here in CA; just gettin hot again AND THERE'S LIKE SIX WEEKS LEFT UNTIL VEGAS!!!!! I'm just a little excited, but not too much :D; just to show all of you just how crazy I am, I've had a "countdown" thing on my myspace page (www.myspace.com/familygal12) for the last couple of months to help with the math

Tina said...

Good Morning Ladies! Happy Monday! and here's to my Zach turning 18!!!

Anonymous said...

HAPPY 18TH BIRTHDAY ZACH!! Hope it's a grand day for you...and for mom...here's a hug for you ..HUG!

Tina said...

I cant decide if I should cry or jump for joy! LOL. *sigh* Maybe I will just do both...

Kathi said...

Are you gonna let him stay home today? Happy Birthday, Zach!! This is ONE HELL of a year to be eligible to vote!!

I hope Zach does register (not today or tomorrow..DUH); but his generation is making history this year...and probably by the time my youngest niece (8, First Grade) gets to high school, she'll be reading about it in her Civics book; if not her, definitely Dailen, Leigh Ann

Anonymous said...

Yes Tina...this is a emotional day for you :( your baby is 18!

Kathi...I'm with you...gotta register to vote :) It's part of being an American citizen....then comes jury duty...LOL

Tina said...

Zach...voting... jury duty... ARRRRGGG... that is WAY TO WEIRD. I need to go home and hide under the covers.
Yes Kathi - he went to school to turn in his Senior Portfolio - but then came home. He has NEVER been to school (since Middle School) on his birthday. LOL Spoiled damn kid. :o)

Kathi said...

WHATA MOM; can I come to your house so I can make up for all my birthdays my mom made me go to school? Yeah, and I'm sorry to be telling you this, but I don't think hiding under the covers is gonna help much; SENIORS IN HIGH SCHOOL have to do a portfolio now?? Holy shit am I old; What's next...a brief synopsis of the entire four years of high school and what it meant to you?!

Leigh Ann, when do you have to check in at Pensacola? I know I'll have my other girls, but I"m gonna be a basket case when you're not on the blog as much :((

Noboyz said...

Hey everyone!
I have yet again been swamped at work..... :(
Kathi, sometimes mine skip school for birthday's sometimes they go.... most of the time they want all the attention saying it's my birthday!!!!

Marci

Kathi said...

THAT'S WHAT I DO NOW.....LOL; I"m such a brat

Noboyz said...

Too funny Kathi

Tina said...

Well we took Zach out to dinner (souplantation is what he chose) and he is now going to the Padres game with his dad. They go every year around this time for Zach's birthday - and because its when the play the Chicago Cubs...and Fred is a HUGE cubs fan. *groan* I worked on my blog for a bit and wanted to check in and say hi! So HI ladies!!!

Kathi said...

I love Souplantation...yum, yum. My brother is also a die hard Cubs fan...is he from Chicago? If so, which part (the suburbs or the city itself)? My parents are both from there and I still have aunts, uncles and cousins there

Kathi said...

"he" meaning Fred, of course

Tina said...

Fred grew up in Elmhurst. Not too far outside the city. And 1/2 his family is Cubs fans... the other 1/2 are WhiteSox fans. LOL

Tina said...

Marci, Thank you for the sweet comments on my blog. :o)

Noboyz said...

You are more than welcome Tina...
I feel as if I know ya'll so well....
like when I met Paul and the kids for the first time... I had not see Tori since she was 1.... it was natural.... :)
our kids played together like they grew up in the same house.... remarkable....

Marci

Kathi said...

NO WAY!!! I have an aunt and uncle that live in Elmhurst (in fact, it's the aunt that has the recurrence of her cancer). Isn't the the truth about the whole state of Illinois though...1/2 are Cubs fans and the other are Whitesox....lol

Kathi said...

That's crazy; I can't wait to meet you and Steph, Marci

Noboyz said...

I think once we all get together.. it will be "on".... we will have a blast....
I cannot wait....

Marci

Kathi said...

OMG; guess we need to start resting up now....lol; I was sort of half kidding about this, but we seriously need to make a "blog trip" to TN.... and just meet at the "Shea Wrather" (sorry Paul and Leigh Ann)

Tina said...

Good Morning Ladies! Hey LeigAnn, where are ya girl? Miss you!! Hope everyone has a happy Tuesday.

Noboyz said...

Hey Tina,
I'm sure she is still unpacking...

Good morning everyone!

Marci

Leigh Ann said...

Here I am...I should be able to check the blog more often now that the laptop has found a semi-perm home.

I have missed you guys and will do better:)

Yes, it has been great to see Steph and Marci, but it is still strange that I am not in CA anymore and I miss my west coast girls:(

Anonymous said...

Hello ..Hello..I'm at work and I enjoyed catching up on the comments since I was last on the blog :)

Kathi...our blogger group could get it's own bus and put our blog logo across the side...LOL

Tina....that is so cool about your hubby and Zach doing the ball game together!! Soup Plantation :D Mmmmm
Now you get to move onto the next big event :) graduation??? I'll get over to your blog and check it out!!

Anonymous said...

Hey Leighann...our comments passed each other LOL as they went through. That's cute that your laptop has a semi home LOL :) I'm sure you're going through all sorts of ups and downs emotionally and physically~ wow!

we are days away from having to put everything in our boothes at the fair...I think this year we've hit the max on the personal touches on the boothes themselves and the alley way..my concern is that we may have lagged in the actual exhibits going in them!!! I have many phone calls to make to make sure folks have things to share in them!! :( scared!!

Anonymous said...

update on the fair :) great news...after tending to phone calls and emails..WOOHOO! Great response from all!! whew~ It's going to be a great success!! (PS..now..if next year we can have them give up the beer garden/tequilla garden right in front of us....LOL, I know...for shame!! there are plenty beer spots in other areas...we need a sake and tea garden :D in our area....LMAO...I'm going to hide now LOL)

Tina said...

ROFL!!! Brenda! for SHAME! Tea and Sake over Beer and Tequila. Good thing I know you really do LIKE beer and tequila.. hahaha.

Thanks to everyone for saying happy birthday to my bubba... he thought that was way cool!

I miss you too LA!!! *pout*

Noboyz said...

For shame Brenda!!! LOL
I'm sure you will visit the beer booth in the heat!! and be glad it is in front of you... ha ha

Glad Zach enjoyed all of our birthday wishes...

Marci

Anonymous said...

LMAO!!! Yes...I knew you girls would have something to say about BEER LOL!! LOVE IT!!!!

I love how you call Zach BUBBA LOL

Anonymous said...

this made me think of something my coworker who rides bikes with me were talking about...we're going to ,this summer, have water on board our bikes...and have camel packs (sp?) with BEER LOL ...this is for when we ride at the beach and Fiesta Island LMAO

Leigh Ann said...

Crystal and the kids just stopped by and yes Savannah is a doll and the others have grown so much. Busy, busy, but wanted to post that I have now seen everyone in our blog family:)

Leigh Ann said...

LOL...beer instead of water would make an interesting bike ride!

Noboyz said...

at that point I think Brenda would need one of those big tricycles... LOL
keep balance..

Marci

Tina said...

OMG Marci!! TOO FUNNY tricycle!! LOL. THATS what I would need if i were "drinking and riding" lol

Kathi said...

That is pretty funny

Noboyz said...

I would sit in the basket on the front.. and open your beers for you!!!!! LOL

Marci

FYI: How much does a 2 month old "sack of potatoes weigh?"

12 lbs.... she is so fat and pudgy!!! :) I want for Crystal to comment again on Savanah's weight and age.... interesting...

Kathi said...

I think Savannah's 27 lbs at a year

Just OPEN the beers, Marci??? I tend to think not......LOL

Kathi said...

I LOVE how babies have those "folds" in their skin from their pudginess

Leigh Ann said...

Good Morning All:)

The tricyle and Marci in the basket opening up the beer is a pretty funny picture.

Nice to know how much a sack of taters weighs these days...LOL

Things are getting done slowly but surely here at the Wrather household.

The kids have fit right back in the neighborhood like they never left - I forgot how many kids live around here!

Saw my first lightening bug at dusk last night...too neat!

Have a great day everyone!

Tina said...

Morning everyone! Marci... if you open the beers from the basket... I will share them with you! LOL
LeighAnn, I am glad things are coming together for you guys! We here in CA miss you!!!
Hope everyone has a great wednesday!

Anonymous said...

Hello all :) oh you funny people!! LOL..I wanna ride in the basket LOL!!

Leighann...so very cool that you have now seen all the blog family :) And that you have met Savanah Hope!! Love the lightning at dusk...I can just picture that beautiful site :D

I'm leaving work at 10am to do my grocery shopping (I've neglected the family with other stuff I've been doing after work)...my husband is threatening to do it himself because he has some free time today...NOOOOOO!!! Can't let him do the shopping..especially now that gas is 4.49 at AM/PM ...

Stephanie said...

Brenda, surely Steve knows you won't allow him to do the grocery shopping...it's a ploy to nudge you to do it! Well, that is usually MY husband's tactic! :) If my husband did the shopping, he would spend 300 dollars, and we would have a pantry full of soda, chips, twinkies...and not to forget frozen pizzas in the freezer and a fridge full of beer! Not a veggie in sight! :) It ticks me off, how he stays skinny. :)

Stephanie said...

Oh yeah, Leigh Ann is probably enjoying the cheaper gas here, as compared to out there...but man, it's creeping up there! I put $20 in my car yesterday and it gave me less than a 1/4 tank. It was $3.86 a gallon for regular...

Stephanie said...

Woah, sorry about the double-take there...how does that happen?

Anonymous said...

Hey Steph :D No...he was serious and bummed when I told him I was taking off work to go LOL....WHEW! saved!! The AM/PM by my work was 4.24 on Monday and now 4.49 for the regular ...when it hits 7.00 I'm riding my bike to work...meant to clock the mileage but forgot...right now I travel the freeway...but I can go sideroads I don't think it's quite 10 miles...sad how the food banks are now overloaded with people wrapping around the buildings...and running out of food because the federal funding has been cut back....BUT we sure have continued to help those who live outside our fine borders :( so very sad!!

Stephanie said...

Yes, I know every day how very lucky I am, to not have to drive to work, or to pay daycare. Gosh, I cannot imagine how much it would cost to commute to Nashville every day like I used to. If you ride your bike to work, I am sure you will have lots of company, once gas hits $7 a gallon.

And I agree with your sentiments about the needy people HERE first...it bothers me how many kids suffer and go hungry in our wealthy nation.

Noboyz said...

I agree with both of you!
There is so much that is pushed under the rug here in the U.S.
Sad....
Steph & brenda, what kind of gas mileage to you get in your vehicles???
I'm still trying to figure mine out.. this SUV is definitely different than my mini van... :(
I'm thinking I get about 18 miles to the gallon...
and gas is climbing up there quick!
I've got to grocery shop tonight... :(

Marci

Leigh Ann said...

Wow...that is sad and confusing. I am scared to go and fill our pantry...it is going to cost a fortune!

Not gonna go shopping until I find my pots and pans...LOL.

Can't wait to cook a meal:)

Stephanie said...

Marci, my car gets about 28 mph highway, about 24 or so in town.

Leigh Ann, ouch about the pantry. That is a scary thought, starting with a bare cupboard! But, I haven't really noticed much increase in the food prices, for what I buy for the family. I still shop for the week, family of 4 (including diapers) for about $140 a week!

Leigh Ann said...

We budget $600/month.

Leigh Ann said...

Speaking of food we are heading out to mexican at 1100 when Paul gets back...

...he is going to fax his registration paperwork for school...he starts the end of the month as a Junior!

YAH!!

Damn chips and salsa...I did so well on the road but NOT GOOD AT ALL since we made it into Smyrna:(

Noboyz said...

Yes, it won't be fun to fill that pantry up!!!!

We've been lucky with the diapers so far... between me,my mom and KK's friends having a diaper shower... we still have about 16 packs left... :)

I buy in spurts... when something is on sale, I stack up... especially meats....

Marci

Leigh Ann said...

We spent $,$,$ on gas for our transfer here!!! The truck alone topped a thousand if I remember correctly. But, I wanted no details - I am still in denial.

Stephanie said...

Aw man...I would love to go to Mexican but I don't think we can make it with that short notice. We are sitting here typing away, and none of us are ready to go anywhere.

Stephanie said...

I like the chips and salsa too. I try to trick myself by grabbing a giant chip and breaking it into many smaller pieces, then dipping those...oh, and I love the salsa at Hickory Falls.

Stephanie said...

If Paul shops at Publix and only spends 150 a week, I definitely need to find out EXACTLY what he buys. I can't get out of that place without spending way, way too much. And, they don't carry my diapers... :(

Stephanie said...

Well, not MY diapers...Ansley's diapers. Thank goodness I don't require diapers, as yet.

Leigh Ann said...

Yeah, well believe me, I don't look nice:)

Had my work out stuff on and then threw on shorts and a tee to make my husband happy.

And I do enjoy my chips and salsa:)

Paul only buys specialty food items at publix - we do WalMart and now maybe Super Target for the generic stuff.

Well, he's back from his errands and we are off.

Noboyz said...

have a great lunch!

I can hardly ever get away from my desk lately... but I am meeting Mike for lunch.. who knows where.. maybe just a sandwich at Quizno's..

Steph, I am so glad you are not in diapers!!! LOL
too funny

Marci

Noboyz said...

Steph, you need to start a little blog for your family like we all did... it's fun to see updated pictures and such!

Marci

Anonymous said...

Yes..Steph you need a blog!! :D
Leighann have fun at lunch :) Nice to get on and see chatter!! Would love to have a super Walmart here..they seem to be sneaking in more ailes of food items ...but I think there's a block on Walmart and Target getting super stores within the city limits here...

Im gonna get back on track eating and exercising faithfully after the fair starts...but I'll not give up treating myself :) Steph...I can't imagine breaking up a tortilla chip...WOW! amazing! WTG on the will power :)

Stephanie said...

Yes, I do need to get around to making a blog for my family. They are pretty funny to watch! :)

Case in point...I am at my desk, and my daughter just ran by the door, doing her butterfly impression...then a few steps behind her came dad, doing his impression of her, flapping his wings and hopping...I almost choked...what a goofy daddy.

Noboyz said...

too much Steph! That is funny.... you see a good picture for the blog!

Brenda, no super walmart or target???? I would die.... LOL

Marci

Leigh Ann said...

ROF...too funny about John!

Sent Paul to Home Depot...he said he can't afford for me to go...lol. Thanks again for the gift cards to there and Target guys!

His mom and dad are stopping by again...it's so nice that they can do that...and his dad is going to hang Dailens chandelier.

Wish the rooms were already painted and the garage was unpacked:)

I think I am going to work on some curtains - those are fun.

Noboyz said...

I get in trouble at Lowes and Home Depot as well!!!
Mike can always go in and get exactly what he needs and walk out... not me...

Glad everything is coming together.. slowly but surely... and yes, very nice that Paul's family can visit.

Marci

Kathi said...

Glad everything's getting slowly done, LA. I miss you guys though.

WOW; it took me forever to get through and catch up on all the chit chat for today

Marci, that's great about the diapers...and Steph, glad you don't need any yet...lol.

Tina said...

Hey ladies! Hope you all had a great day! Im exhausted and gonna go lay down. LONG day. :o)

Noboyz said...

Night Tina!!!!
We had our last t-ball game tonight... Yeah!!! End of year party in July and we're done!

I got my new video camera in the mail today... very nice... it takes the little disc... it's so small.. and also takes digital pictures. :)

Did anyone find my willpower??? I lost it this week... ;( Please return certified mail....

Marci

Noboyz said...

Mike and I are going spend the night Friday night in New Orleans... for our annivesary.

OHHHHH, the casino and Bourbon Street... Nonnie will be in trouble!!!!! a well needed break... Mike behaves... I do not!!!!

I will try and get some interesting picture for the blog... :>}

Marci

Anonymous said...

Hey all...Oh Marci...sending you your will power!!!! congrats on the T-ball season ending!! I bet the little ones out there look adorable :) Your camera sounds amazing :) How convenient on the little disc too

Tina...hope you have a restful night :) Your words sounded exhausted :(

Hey Kathi! There was lots of chatter today wasn't there :)

Steph...your play by play on the family is the makings of your blog LMAO

Hey Leighann...glad to hear you're enjoying the grandparents :) Ohhh so exciting fixing up the home!!

got my shopping done and my brother went with me up to the fairgrounds where the actvivity is so exciting....we'll go back tomorrow...we're helping a friend who's been creating this garden masterpiece in 900 sq feet ...I'll for sure put her exhibit on my blog...it's the grand entrance to the garden area and she beat out landscape contractors for the bid...clap clap clap...I'm so proud of her!!!

See you all tomorrow :)

Noboyz said...

Hey Brenda, glad all your shopping got done! whew... has your brother found work yet?? I've been thinking of him lately... hopefully everything will work out.

The fairgrounds sound breathtaking.. I'm sure a plant oasis... :) please please put pictures and ideas for our gardens and backyards....

Marci

Noboyz said...

Oh Steph, wanted to give you an FYI on the mother in law.... Mylee is now fxing to be 2 months old... she has not held her yet... Mike made me ask her Saturday at a b'day party if she wanted to hold her... she snubbed her nose at me and said, I REALLY don't think so Dear....
Well guess what, I told him, I am in my 40's I aint holding my tongue anymore...
he said, uh oh.... LOL

Kathi said...

You make my blood boil every time you bring this up, Marci (I AM SO NOT MAD AT YOU, just the situation); a baby is supposed to be a time when a family comes together, not fall apart; I wish to hell I can come to Louisiana and give them a piece of my mind (and I wouldn't hold back either); I also wish to hell they would all just get over themselves - and that's basically what I'd tell them

Kathi said...

Tina, this is a STUPID question, but if I remember right, the girls are identical twins, right? I was just looking at their picture on your blog and I think so, but I can also see a difference, as subtle as it may be

Stephanie said...

Leigh Ann, that's funny about Home Depot. John sends me when we need something, because he knows he can yell out exactly whatever random, galvanized, hex-head, circus act screw he needs and I will come back with it (I was working at Home Depot for about a year, as a second job, when I met him!). I loved Hardware! And some people think it stinks, but I love the smell of all that new wood! Ha Ha!

Marci, what the hell? How could she look at that baby and act like that? I know exactly what you are in for...my MIL never even held Ansley as a baby...she has only been in her house once, for about 2 minutes. John grabbed her out of the car when we dropped me son off to visit, and took her in. He cam right back out with her. Man, trouble is brewing there. I refuse to allow her to be a part-time grandparent to only ONE of my children. But you know, Jonathan loves her and that is really only punishing him. As soon as Ansley is old enough to ask, "who is nana" and "why does brother visit and I can't?"...she is all done. I think those old women are dead inside, to snub a tiny baby like that. Whatever! I am on your team, when you need support!

Stephanie said...

When I dropped me son off...what am I, British! LMAO!

Sorry for the typo, girls!

Stephanie said...

Leigh Ann, that reminds me of My Fair Lady...AAAAAAAAA.....EEEEEEE.....ooooooooooooo........aaaakkk! Anyone who has seen that movie knows what I mean. Audrey Hepburn is my favorite female actress of all time. My favorite of hers is Sabrina. Can't wait to see Rayna's room!

Kathi said...

OMG, Steph; I didn't know you were going through the same thing as Marci...I thought your MIL would be happy to have a granddaughter after having a grandson...I don't think I know your story; why is she not liking Ansley? People like that just irk the daylights out of me

Tina said...

Morning ladies! Too much for me to comment on all so... HEY EVERYONE! Keep smiling! :o)

Leigh Ann said...

Good Morning All,

Marci,
Too funny about the willpower...mine must have hightailed it out of town with mine...lmas.

Too sad about the MIL - I wouldn't hold back either!

Enjoy New Orleans you saucy wench:)

Steph,
As always that just blows my mind that your MIL can be so devoted to Jonathan and not Ansley - they both look just like John...I am here for you always!

Kathi,
Yes, the blog was jumping yesterday:)

Tina,
Hoping Friday comes quickly - you sound swamped.

Brenda,
The 900ft. masterpiece sounds wonderful - have a great time at the fair.

Crystal,
Hope the girls dance recitals are going well this week.

Mandy and Rima - hope you doing well.

Leigh Ann said...

We are off to join the YMCA today and I am all excited - I have missed working out.

Paul had a job interview yesterday and has been called back for another...I really hope it works out for us.

Rayna babysat and made some $ and the two little ones each had a sleepover.

Tori has been in Bristol this week visiting locals there and will be home tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great day. I will check in later.

Kathi, gets my pressure up too that's why I have to vent over it... sorry....

Good Luck to Paul!

I'm glad the girls are settling in.... and Yeah to Rayna for making some monies....

and yes, I will get saucy in New Orleans... :)

Anonymous said...

Marci..and Steph....that's so sad and blows me away ...they are sad sad women...hard to comprehend what the have done :( keep us posted!!

Hey Leighann....that's really nice how the girl's lives fell right back into place :) Where did Paul interview at??? I must have missed that part on the blog...Enjoy the YMCA :D

My brother is awaiting word on another trucking co. out of Phoenix...he also applied at Home Depot as he waits..no word yet...He asked me to be patient with him....I am, but we have a family of 4 (2 aults and 2 teenage boys) coming to stay with us beginning of July for 9 days sooooo LOL...I feel for the guy...it seems he can only focus on one thing at a time...LMAO...I'm used to heavy loads of things to focus on

Noboyz said...

Well hopefully Brenda things will fall into place for him...
Good luck with your new family coming to visit! I too am used to having lots on my shoulders... I hate to be idle...

The only one it truly stabs in the heart is her own son... that's what pissifying to me... is that a word?? pissifying? LMAO

I'm ready for the weekend... :)

Marci

Anonymous said...

Marci...LMAO I love it...pissifying...LOL sounds like a great adjective...and it really flows off the tongue when you say it :) vent on sista!!!!

He is so sweet! He told me not to forget I'm supposed to hook him up! LOL

How's the pantry looking??

Don't forget to email your address to me... I have a prize for you... :)

Love ya
Marci

Kathi said...

And if you don't want to say @#$%, you can always say stick it where the sun don't shine

That's perfectly fine if you vent here, Marci...as long as you don't mind me venting about the situation; talking about stuff that makes me upset helps me also, so talk away; life is just too damn short for this shit...GET OVER IT LADIES (talking to Marci and Steph's MILs) - Ansley and Mylee are here to stay

Leigh Ann said...

Yes,
it is an ellipitical machine works great!

Tina said...

If you have beer... I have patience. HAHAHAHAHA.

Well I am gonna have a glass of wine (or 2) and climb into bed and nap till my hubby gets home, then get up and warm his dinner. (unless I am snoring - in which case I wont HEAR him come in and he will have to warm his own damn plate - and then wake me up to take off my contacts) ROFLMAO
Goodnight ladies!
LeighAnn...you are a wonderful friend and make my heart feel full! I love you girl!

Kathi said...

What does Fred do? Does he still work for the Navy (as a civilian, of course)? What time does he get home when he does doubles?

Marci, I wish my other aunt (we lost her to pancreatic cancer five years ago; but she had breast cancer previously also) responded this well to treatments; this aunt is (was) my mom's sil and one of her best friends - known each other since they were 17 (same age as my mom, so she was 64 when she died); the funniest person you'd ever want to meet

Noboyz said...

that's very sad Kathi... yes, everyone is different.. and it's all on their outcome of life as well....

Love ya

Leighann :) glad to hear you are relaxing this evening!! Can't wait to see pics of the house done up !!

hello to everyone else!!

Aunt Diane had the greatest outlook (I don't know if that's the same as what you said) on life; she had four children and six grandbabies; and like I said, she was one of the funniest people you'd ever wanna meet. When she was diagnosed with the pancreatic cancer, it threw everyone in a state of shock, not to mention her own family. She had about two and a half months from the day of diagnosis until she died. Marci, the treatments were HORRIBLE for her; she got to a point where she didn't even want to see her own children; towards the end, she had decided to stop the treatments.. so my uncle and cousins got her in-home hospice care (she didn't want to die in a hospital) and they tried to keep her as comfortable as possible.... she was the first of four deaths in the family that year, one of which was my grandmother, who was 97 when she passed; needless to say, 2003 was NOT the greatest of years for us

Morning ladies...just got up a little while ago, after staying up all night trying to pick up the trash before my IHSS person gets here today (I'm trying to help her out a little more, but it's hard with my DAMN FEET HURTING MORE - think I"m gonna go get that injection in my right ankle now)

Yeah LA and Brenda, 2003 wasn't easy; that's why I started freaking out when my aunt was diagnosed again, cuz I thought it was gonna be another 2003, with my brother's mil passing in Oct. and a dear friend of the family passing a month later and then my aunt... but thankfully, she's responding so well

My dad had (hopefully he went) his six month check up with the Neurologist today, so anxious to see how that goes (his dementia is progressing; and the doc he went to today is the one that turned him into the DMV, so he refuses to see her - but it's SO VERY IMPORTANT THAT HE GOES); I hope he went; my brother was gonna drive, so I'm hoping he was able to convince him to go

Marci, how's Madi's ears? RUPTURED??? Is that what you said? Ok........OUCH; how's her epilepsy doing?

Kathi said...

YES!!!! Just tried my parents house and there's no answer, so my dad went

Kathi said...

Crystal, don't know if you're getting my emails since the internet's not working, but I think I threw away the receipt for the bikini, but left the tags on, so it should still be ok for you to exchange if necessary

Anonymous said...

Hey Kathi...glad your dad went to the doc for his follow up :) Sorry to hear about your feet not getting better :( Do what you need to do...and if it's the injection...do it!! I love when my house gets clean...makes me relax more...don't like to clean it LOL...but happy when it's done :)

Noboyz said...

Hey Kathi, her left ear abcessed during the night... disgusting... and she is in pain, poor baby.... we have drops and pain medicine for her....

I'm not sure if we can do our Adult Night!!! :(
My baby needs me...
another night... no big deal....

Marci

Noboyz said...

Kathi,
When will your dad find out his results??? I'll be thinking of ya'll in the meantime....
put those feet up girlie!!!

Marci

Anonymous said...

Oh gosh Marci...so sorry to hear that...my gosh the pain!!!!!!!!!!!

Wanna laugh...came back to my desk at work...pulled hair off my jacket ....yes, I shed...then sat down in the chair...scooted up to my desk...then it happened..OMG...my co worker STEVE was under my desk!!!!!!!!!!!! He scared me and I flew out of my cublicle so fast, I just about left my pants in the chair!!!!!!! I'm sure those at the court house across the street heard me :( boo hoo

Noboyz said...

Kathi, I think I just pee'ed in my pants!! OMG
too funny... you make me laugh so much.... ;)

Marci

Kathi said...

That was Brenda, Marci; don't think I'm that funny :D But I would've crapped my pants if that were to happen to me, Brenda (not to mention probably seriously injured the poor guy by accidently kicking him or something)

Dad got one better than last time on his "mental test" that he got from the Neurologist today; I guess she asks him a bunch of questions.. and he answered 22/30 correctly.

So sorry to hear about Madi's ears, Marci; can I say it one more time.............OUCH; sorry also about your missing your adult night..but yeah, Madi needs you

Kathi said...

Just FYI; it was 40 years ago today that RFK (Robert F. Kennedy) was assasinated; and in April, it was 40 years since Martin Luther King, Jr. was; CNN's comparing this year's elections to back then

Not sure if ya'll remember back then (I wasn't even a twinkle in my parents eyes yet - they did, however have three toddlers; my siblings were 4, not quite 3 and not quite 2)

Kathi said...

I need to go to the store sometime tomorrow; can you take me, Brenda? I have to go tomorrow cuz I have to get bday cards for my nieces, who's parties I'm going to Sunday in OC

Kathi said...

NEVERMIND, Brenda..I'm gonna be going to my nephew's baseball game. I'll probably just get the cards at the mall (North County Fair) while waiting for the bus

Anonymous said...

Hey Kathi...I'm glad you've made other arrangements...I'm loading my car tonight with my exhibits for the fair...then we need to be down there in the AM to finish working on the booths....will be there pretty mauch all day Sunday too...So ahppy to hear about your dad Kathi!!! clap clap clap...and thanks for the history lesson too :) Luv it!

Marci...glad you enjoyed my afternoon at work LOL...It was damn funny after the fact :)

Anonymous said...

Tina...hoping you all had a good game tonight!! Will be thinking of your family tomorrow with the shopping and the prom!!!!!

Kathi said...

Wow; Prom.. I remember mine; it was up at Camp Pendleton of all places, at some hall or something; then afterwards my parents and sister through my friends and I an "After Prom party" at our house.. we of course stay up all night goofing off.. we had the whole family room to ourselves; and it was funny (although some people didn't think so at the time), one of my friends is confined to a wheelchair due to CP (not the friend I'm going to Vegas with); and another friend and I lifted her out of her chair and put her in one of our recliners, so she can be comfortable (and sleep)... we were laughing so hard when her parents came and picked her up (needless to say they were a bit shocked to find out we had done that)... GREAT MEMORIES

Kathi said...

On the 16th, it'll be exactly 19 years since I graduated... I can't believe my 20th reunion is next year

Leigh Ann said...

Morning everyone...

Brenda, why was Steve under your desk? LOL!

Marci, hope she feels better and sorry to hear you had to reschedule:(

Kathi, glad to hear about your dad - it did good on his test.
