I have the most awesome angel story I just heard from my sis in law...my husband's brother's wife...ok...25 years ago..she cashed her final paycheck (lost a job) and had $1400.00 in little bills in her wallet...which she left at a bar....drove home 2 hours away..realized it....drove back the next day...someone turned in the wallet...all her monies were there..but in $100.00 dollar bills....fast track to yesterday....my niece...my husband's sister's daughter...left her wallet in her car...it was stolen and had in it her rent money in small bills....she gets a call at some point...someone turned in her wallet to the post office...she gets it...all little bills, gone...and replaced with $100.00 dollar bills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have funny story.... I left my entire purse in the buggy at WalMart and a little boy(about 9) brought it to his Granny...
they called me when they got home... all the money was there, so I gave the little boy $40.... but when I got home... some of the medicines where missing!!! LOL Granny needed a fix I guess.... I had Madi's zoloft and KK's adderrall!!!

Speaking of DMV...Anybody ever hear that if you make an appointment, you don't have to wait at the DMV? Or was that just on the TV show I was watching? If that is true, I am going to be mad!! Nothing like spending your day sitting in line with the riff-raff at the DMV! The long wait near stinky people is the reason why I still carry a totally hideous pic of me from several years ago. I just renew online as long as they will let me! :)

Do my little trick... I always keep a nice smelling lotion in my purse.... if someone is stinky at my office or anywheres else, I put the lotion on my hands... and then rub under my nose, like I am scratching it...

Yes, they are waking up in various stages right now...
They LOVED the Wild Animal Park and it wasn't as packed as I thought it would be. We say a baby monkey, two baby giraffes, baby ducks...
When the girls leave, I am going to start packing away the knick knacks...Paul is taking the van in this am for an oil change and other various checks...
It seems so surreal. We are looking at approximately 25 peeps for the party Saturday Night. I am going to have LOTS of food and we can split the leftovers for Sunday munching:)

LOL...I'm not a marathoner like Steph....I'm just walking in the Navy walk/run with a friend from work...I'm most excited about the fact that the event takes us over the Coronado bridge :) It's only 4 miles from downtown to a park in Coronado...then Jeri and I will ride the ferry back over and rest and have lunch at Seaport Village.

Yes, we are going to the Padre game with the tickets received from the walk :) I've never been over the bridge on foot before, so that's why we are doing this!! I am afraid of heights though :( We are getting our picture taken at the call phone (the suicide hotline) the other bldg I worked at (same company)had an office that manned the hotline phones...but it was a totally secured space and you had to be credentialed to enter it...

She found out after the race and was upset because she didn't get to see it. I told her about the blog post and she visited to see... Apparently my cousin ran in it too...she is 3 years younger than I, and I finished 22 minutes before she did (ha-ha-ha!!!) :) Small world...but there were 30,000 people running this year! WOW!
Exactly how high is that bridge? I will have to look it up online. What a terrible thing, the call line up there for people contemplating suicide. I guess it's a terrible thing, and wonderful too, for it to be there.More about those angels in unexpected places...

I would love a good storm here!!!!! Lucky you :) SOme time I'm gonna watch the weather channel and look for an oncoming storm to El Centro Arizona or Yuma Arizona...then drive to meet it...and stay in a flea bag motel :)
No gardening for me this weekend...having the Wrather party Saturday then will be out of the house on Sunday....hope it's clear for you at some point to get out and play in the dirt or mud :)

When I was at the doctor on the
7th, I was up 7 pounds (YIKES-A-RAMA); but again, that's cuz of the steroids and that's why I'm not gonna weigh in again until after I'm off pred.

That's true, Marci.. which is kind of cool since we don't have each other's email addresses (the only one I do have is LA's)
And this is different from email cause we all get the same information...it's a running dialogue.
I have to go bathe...my back is hurting from packing today. I just finished painting all the girls fingernails and toes - with flowers, except for Mackenzie. It was fun.
The three big girls are heading back from PB...they were at Mission Beach earlier - they are red! Maggie is the worst. They are going to the movies in a little bit.
Paul is watching the Lakers and cleaning the stove...my house is a disaster:)

Y'all don't laugh...ever since I brought my tiny baby girl home from the NICU, I have slept right next to her bed on the floor. I was terrified she would stop breathing and I wouldn't hear her. Now, I love to crash on the floor. It's great for your posture, believe it or not. Well, it helps me anyway. A firm mattress is really good too. I guess most people choose the mattress. :)
I am taking a break for a Miller Chill (my favorite beer, when I have one!) and going to tan by the pool for a bit. It is gorgeous here today!
