Yes, Leigh Ann, Publix is the only one I know of here that has the wipes on the carts. Another reason I like shopping there. I love that, but I wonder if they are bleach, or what? I don't want to just get the germs wet; I want them to die! Hmmm. :)

We bought the Crysler Van with the satellite tv and table with the reversible chairs...it does it all. We love it! It has captain chairs so getting to the third row is great. Lots of storage in the back - more than our nissan van...

Girls, I would like to report an Elvis sighting! Kathi, I thought you especially would like to hear about it, what with your plans for Vegas...He came into my tanning salon and was right behind me in line. He had jet-black hair, mirrored sunglasses, those chop-thingie sideburns, and was wearing a leather jacket and jeans. And he was about 60 years old!!! He did the voice and everything. I overheard him say, he wanted the spray tan! :)
ROF...too funny...the spray tan. Love it. Can't wait to shop at Publix!

2nd Avenue, downtown Nashville. But it just isn't the same, with the one in Franklin having that big patio and pond with fountain. I miss sitting out there in summer! That's a steak house of some kind now...
Ugh...yes, I loved the fountain and the small park area for the kids. What better way to pass the afternoon? We will miss it, too:(

Leigh Ann, I am supposed to go and look at those on Monday... just weighing options but don't have alot of time to really research and look... have to turn the rental in on Thursday and having a baby on Wednesday only leaves Monday and Tuesday... damn.. I need more time than that. you know, that's a big decision...

Welcome, Rima; yeah, we are a bunch of nutty women, and we do talk about a lot more than weight loss; so got any troubles, spill 'em out; we're here to listen and give advice
Marci, I don't know if you do a lot of driving back there (probably not near as much as we do out here), but get a hybrid (those gas/electic cars). They're great on gas (I'd say 50 mpg in the city).
I'm not feelin like I want to yank out my female parts anymore..took two tylenol last night; that was FREAKY.
Leigh Ann, when were you going to send the money to Chrissie? I have to wait to see if I can do it or not; just went shopping; but have to wait for my other bills to clear

If you look at my family blog under "Van" on left hand side you will see ours...the little ones would love it...with disney, nick and cartoon network...you never hear a peep out of them. Three different screens and the blue tooth for the phones, your hands free. Mylee would be style'n:) We only get 18 mpg/22 mpg...computer hook ups, navigation...dodge and crysler, etc. are supposed to be the way to go right now.

I gained 1.8 - I am pissed! I don't know how I am going to reach my goal by Memorial day, now. I may do the "Reset" for 3 or 4 days. I mean I made it a priority NOT to miss working out with school work and I haven't, but I didn't eat well this weekend. During the week I do so good, damn it!!!

Ok, after some research, I have decided to decrease my weight training from 6 times a week to 3 and to maintain, but increase my intensity, of my cardio which I will do 6 times a week. Here is one of the articles that has prompted my to try this. Like I said I will reach my goal my Memorial Day!!!

That's pretty interesting; I thought the exact opposite. I don't know if I want to weigh in this week; I feel so bloated right now; plus, I've had a ton of soda this week (orange sunkist)
I'm for sure not going to reach my goal by Memorial Day (unless I completely go on a hunger strike and just drink water); but knowing that I CAN and have lost weight is quite an accomplishment in itself
OK; the curiosity was killing me; and it turns out that I LOST three pounds; boy, is that ever a thing that makes ya go "hmmm"!! BUT I'LL GLADLY TAKE IT

Intriguing, Leigh Ann. Wow, you are weight training 6 times a week? You'd better re-evaluate. How are your clothes fitting? Are you sure you haven't just put on some muscle?
Bleck. I tried on some shorts from when I was really skinny (girls, I went from 128 to 113 in 2 months, a few years ago...lots of stress and personal issues. I remember weighing 115, when I was 15...My bones were showing...) Anyhow, I remember being shocked to fit into size 1 shorts when I bought them, and now, that ain't happening. Can't zip 'em! But instead of getting upset, I threw them away. I like having a butt...and being healthy. I feel strong and sexy. I will keep my size 4. :)
Oh yes, Leigh Ann, put me down for 20 too. But remind me. ;)

Yes, I have gained muscle - my arms are "cut" according to Paul. But, I really want to lose the weight. I believe that I am heathier and leaner...that is why I am not trying to reach my lowest weight...my goal puts me at about 7pounds over that - which I thought would be realistic and make me happy:)
Anyway,
I like that you could throw them away...I have done that in the past, but this time I am keeping my skinny jeans from pre thyroid hell and I will be in them on Memorial Day!!!

And this weight loss goal is important, especially after all my health issues the past two years - thyroid & anxiety - not to mention the daily stress of just life in general. I know I am on my "pity pot" right now, so again, thanks for being the amazing women that you are and being there for me!
I just finished at the gym and when the going got tough, I DID NOT hit the arrow down to decrease the intensity - I stayed with it, lol...
I also finished a book for one of my four classes this semester and although I have to write two more chapter summaries for it, it was closure on a very small scale...
I am off to the shower...

Yes, Leigh Ann, I am vain, too. I never thought of myself as such, but I need to go ahead and call it what it is! :) And it is taking everything I have to keep from getting those skinny shorts out of the garbage, and getting into them by summer; you know what I mean. It was a lesson in humility to put them on. You have a certain way you like to look, and are determined to have it. I don't think there is anything wrong with that. You are such a perfectionist about everything else, why not your weight? I totally understand. I have said it before...we are alike in many ways.

KK has been having contractions all weekend... she called me today, Mike and I were 15 miles from home "car shopping" and she says, Mom, my water broke!, I almost wrecked, the little shit was joking with me... I hung up on her... and her dad had to call her back and talk to her.. .I couldn't breath..... damn, I'm ready to smooch a baby girl!
Everyone have a fantastic week! I will try to check in now and then, there is a computer at the hospital waiting area, that I used last weekend.. so I can update ya'll.
I'm calling on the dodge durango extended tomorrow a.m.... going to get them to install the flip down t.v. and dvd system...

they are walking right now... Sam, KK, and Ali(my friends' daughter from up the street, also work with her)... all the girls grew up together... Ali is coming in the delivery room also, to video, she is studying to be an RN, and doesn't know what field she wants to go in.. hopefully OB/GYN..
KK has decided she wants to be an OB/GYN doctor... for teens...
