So, to recap...everyone is invited to Callahan's on the 19th at, what did I say, 6pm? I emailed Mandy and invited her and asked how she was doing after the wreck and all.
Stephanie, Marci and Crytal - wish you guys could join us at our local Pub and have a pint with us:(
Hey Stephanie, I appreciate your support earlier:) So, how many miles did you log this week? I was going to put you down for 20, but that was 20 dollars...lol
OMG; THAT WOULD BE AWESOME!!!!! LA, Rayna's 14?????????? Shit, tell her she's getting too old for me...I remember that baby when she was 2!!!!!!!!!!! And she hasn't changed at all...except taller!! It was funny..when you guys brought me the milk that one time and she called me to let me know you were on your way, I said, "bye Ray Ray" - remember that? Terrell started calling her that; and for 10, 12 years, I haven't been able to get it out of my head...LOL
6 sounds good on the 19th; OK with you, Brenda?
Marci, they'll probably get me so drunk, they'll have to roll me out of there; we'll have a toast to you and Steph
Oh yes, girl's gone wild.... part 20, age 35 and older!!! LOL
no college girls there.. except for Leigh Ann, a college girl! ha
I want to relax.... I have off, from Wednesday, April 9th, until April 22nd!!! and maybe longer than that.. we shall see.... depends on what I write while off... I will meet my quota while off... and take longer... LOL Nonnie might even retire....
I bought a new card for the camera... started tonight with the girls walking in the subdivision.. it's great... trying to go into labor... too funny!!!
I will leave that up to you my sister... make a separate blog to the side for me!!!! LOL I will just keep you informed... i told Paw Paw,he cannot wear his over-alls... Linda Ann also told him he must wear starched pants... so precious..
He is so very excited! He told me I have to call him first thing Wed. morning... he is driving in!!! now, I amm scared... paw Paw driving in to Baton Rouge????? LOL He said his first Great Grand baby to hold as an infant! OH.... that's true tbough....
What great posts missed out on :) I think it's very funny Marci about Leighann's dad and the overalls....I couldn't beleive it until I saw it with my own eyes some years ago LOL
Leighann...Kathi...6pm is good at Callahan's on the 19th...Tina?? Rima??? Wish you east coast girls could come but soon enough...we'll be hearing about all of you together and not us!!! Oh my!!
I was thinking about how I'm going to reach my goal weight too :( it's time to figure it out and just do it!!
OK, I made some kind of blog.. that I think I started before.. months back... not sure... Noboyz4me or noboys4me.... I have no clue Leigh Ann, you will have to help me until I understand this shit!!! LOL
HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAYNA! Well, in a few minutes, anyway! We love you very much!!!!!!!
Mackenzie is baking with her EZ Bake oven...remember, I bought her one for her birthday several years ago...sorry it was way too soon for her...:) Brownies...yay! Tell her to save some for Ansley and Mr. John. They are the chocolate people around here! Although Ansley is partial to Hershey's chocolate bars. :) If I am going to cheat, make mine a white cupcake, with pink icing! In one of those silver, tin foil cupcake wrappers. Mmmm....
Ansley's birthday is this Sunday. She picked out her own cake to order from the book at the Publix bakery! First, she picked out a "Minty Cake", which is Minty, the green My Little Pony. But she ultimately decided on this very elaborate Dora cake. Wait until you see this thing, or maybe you have. She would not be swayed after she saw it!! Yes, we have another Dora fan in the group! I know Dailen can relate! Remember when Dailen called Rayna, "Nay-Na", and I was "Miss Steppie"...I miss that. Our girls are growing up. :( At least you and Paul will be here for Ansley to call you, PA and LEE-LEE (that's what she says when she sees your picture on my desk).
Oh yes, I ran 30 miles last week. And Kathi, dang it, Happy Birthday to you too, and sorry I won't be there to share a pint. That would be cool, to sit down with all of you. :) Well, definitely have a cold one for me, girls...CHEERS! And a warm basket of bread...
Oh and Leigh Ann, did I have a baby on your mom's birthday, and you didn't tell me? I thought I read that here on the blog and forgot to ask. If so, I'm gonna get you! :) That would be pretty neat, especially since Paul and my mom are on the same day too! Weird...but in a good way! :)
Marci, I met Paw-Paw a few years ago. It was nice to put a face with the stories. The overalls are darling. The standard grandpaw, is he. I could not believe he drove to Smyrna by himself. So now, I can visualize and worry about him driving to see you. Is he doing it alone? OMG. How's his health these days, Marci and Leigh Ann?
Marci, just go to blogger.com; it's self explanatory, i think
Yeah, you guys!! Us here in CA will be jealous as hell hearing about all of you together :(; well, guess we might just have to take a trip there one day :D...hey, and if the Wraters are getting a pool.....POOL PARTY;
Steph, Ansley's bday is the same day as my cousin's...yeah, he and I are three years and one day apart..very cool to have a cousin that close in age
Well, happy Birthday, me, LA's mom, Ansley, Rayna, Brenda...any other April birthdays? OH SHIT...Mylee (she's the star of the month) and my cousin, Shannon; the Zodiac sign Aries ROCKS
LA or Brenda, do you know about printers? I'm ready to put a bomb into mine, I swear to god; HELP; I can't get it to print ANYTHING...i'm so done with it for right now though; perhaps tomorrow, after my physical therapy appt.
Yes...Happy Birthday to Rayna :) There are alot of shared birthdays...so very cool!!! Kathi...mine was in March but Aries, I am LOL ....I would rather be the zodiac that isn't a ram though LOL..a ram?? what the heck is a ram...a shepp? are there any rams living?? LMAO too odd
I like the names the little ones have for those around them...it's so sweet :)
Could you guys comment for Raynas b-day on my blog...just put up a pic from her party. Thanks.
I will be doing homework today, so I will be checking in A LOT!!! The blog is my break...
Chrissie has asked for me to send her the check, so let me know when you mail yours, with amount, and I may go ahead and drop her one in the mail. Kathi, I know your doing paypal.
Marci, I am going to try and find your blog cause I do remember that...
Leighann...Steve is going to run by your house at some point to drop something off for Rayna and to give you monies for the fund raiser :) I'll pop in your blog now!!
Don't you have a blog, Tina? Is that why you're always anonymous? IF you don't sign your name, we'll think we have a mystery person among us (hopefully a nice man for me)
HOLY SHIT; just heard that, after yet some more inquisions, Princess Diana's death was a homicide (by the stalkarozzi and the driver); LET THE LADY REST IN PEACE!!!!! I MEAN, SHIT, THIS HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR ALMOST 11 YEARS NOW. Sorry; a little testy this morning
Whew...just got back from filing taxes. Yes, I had to wait for some additional paperwork before we could file. I know; talk about pushing it to the wire, but it wasn't my fault! ;-). I feel better, now that it's done and out of the way. Then I had just enough time to take a deep breath and jump back into work. Happy Monday, everyone.
OK, I am mailing off a check: Is this right? Brenda $20.00 Marci $20.00 Stephanie $20.00 I am going to put in $40.00 to make it an even $100.00 and Kathi I know you doing something, too! Thanks everyone!
my co workers were talking about this guy out of the UK and he has a show, I think Sun nights TLC at 8pm...I'm thinking I may check him out...looks like he'll be on the radio this evening...although I haven't had a chance to really read about tonights broadcast as to where...etc...
No Kathi... I dont have a blog, but I do have a google account. Just too lazy to sign in. LA - a massage after taxes!! HAHAHA! Problem is after we pay em... we cant AFFORD a massage! LOL Oh, put me down for 20$! And remind me when I see you next! :o)
Today we must all drink beer in honor of this CCN story...I'll share a tidbit...spread the news to all LOL.......
Breweries and beer lovers around the country are celebrating the 75th anniversary of the return of beer on April 7, 1933, as the Prohibition era was drawing to a close.
It wasn't quite the end of Prohibition, and it wasn't quite beer, but after 14 thirsty years, it was close enough.
What became available that day was only 3.2 percent alcohol by weight (compared with up to 5 percent in full-strength beer), but still, it was a step up from the virtually alcohol-free "near beer" that had been sold since 1920.
What would we do without beer? There'd be no men for sure....lol.
NO FUCKING WONDER MY FEET HURT WHEN I WALK; just got back from PT; therapist (a woman, thank goodness) said that my right achilles is way tighter than my left; not only that, but I hardly have any flexibility in either foot, so I have to start doing exercises by "tracing" the alphabet with my big toe - moves the ankles...this is all shit I was born with; I've still gotta wear the equalizer boots at night and stretch the tendons; so I go every week for PT - I MAY ASK FOR RIDES EVERY NOW AND THEN, IF THAT'S OK. I'm starting to wonder if surgery wouldn't be better; but I'll give this a good try first - I wouldn't want surgery until after I get back from Vegas anyway, cuz I know with achillies surgery, it's 6 months to a year of rehabing it back.
Oh, I'm having a beer!!!! chilling out before tomorrow... Go beer Go!! LOL
Kathi, what else can happen... you need to move in with me!! ha I'm always on a rollercoaster...
Back to school and back to homework! yuck.... the baby, a first grader has more homework than the highschooler..
Leigh Ann, I feel for you with school.... uugghhh.... glad you go to work out.... after the dealership today, i didn't even walk, just drank a few beers... whooped.....
Leigh Ann, you're awesome to be back in school. Hang in there. Love it! Embrace it!
I have been saying I want to go back for the last 2 years. Still waiting on it to happen. Ha ha. Not this year, maybe next year.
Well I am glad to say that I did go to yoga today. I was almost going to bail out, but I made it. Feel so much better afterwards, but it takes everything for me to get there.
I would LOVE to do yoga; talk about stretching my body...but knowing me, I'd probably push it too far and then need a chiropractor; think I'll look into living in a bubble for a while..that way nothing else can happen
Oh Kathi, I feel for you... Rima, I loved yoga the one time I did...your right though, the hardest thing is actually getting there! Marci, I wish I was there...ya'll better rest up tonight!
Rima, how many classes have you been to? Just wondering when I won't have to look at everyone else to figure out what the heck I am supposed to be doing:)
Rima, I like Pilates better. Yoga is soooo serious! :) I always feel just a bit taller after Pilates. I ran 8.5 miles tonight, which I thought would make me feel better after my morning, but nuh-uh...it was hard work, for some reason. And dang it, hubby drank the last beer. How rude. The picture on the blog of the little baby in the red coat with the surprised expression describes me exactly after swinging open the fridge after my run, and there wasn't a beer to be found. :) Kathi, the men definitely would dry up and float away w/o beer! And take it easy on those legs/feet. Did they recommend any hydrotherapy? I was trying to think what you could do for some good overall activity without weightbearing.
Leigh Ann, I think I have been consistently going since January after the holidays. It gets easier. But I can't do any of the really hard ones like stand on your head stuff.
Stephanie, I like pilates too. I started with that actually. And how exactly is it that one runs 8.5 miles? I have trouble getting through a 5K. Are you training for a marathon?
Steph, I mean, swimming is always good; but no, they didn't recommend doing that; just the moving of the ankles (while sitting), stretching the tendons, wearing the boots...UGGGHHHH; I can't tell you how my ankles hurt after doing those exercises today in therapy; like I said, I'll give therapy a good try, but I'm wondering about surgery, just to make it easier to move those ankles; I don't want anymore surgery, but all the corrective surgeries I've had have been a blessing.... what do you think?
Rima, it's hard to set aside enough time to go the entire 13 miles, on a normal day, if you can imagine. I am slow. It took me an hour and 20 minutes to do the 8.5 last night, and I had to stop because the baby was beating on the door and going nuts for me to come inside (treadmill in garage...). I have only done the 13 once so far, a few weeks ago. So I am just running now to hopefully stay at that level and maybe won't do too bad time-wise on the day of.
Kathi, I say if you honestly feel you gave the conservative approach a try and didn't get improvement, absolutely go with the surgery. It probably won't improve much otherwise. One of my favorite fitness competitors had one of her Achilles tendons just snap in a competition, and she was out after surgery for 9 months. That's a debilitating injury/deficit. And I am going to chew your butt, just because I love ya...it's especially important for you to keep your diet in line right now, too, with having to be inactive. I am worried about you!
good morning everyone!! Rima!! WTG on the yoga :) dreamy to me! In the near future, I plan to work that in with ME :D I watched a girl do some Tai Chi (?) and it was beautiful...although I'm not into Tai Chi...just watching the balance and movement WOW...beautiful!!
Kathi...scary stuff you're dealing with!! Are you going to use your pool??? Where is your PT located?? If I don't have stuff going on I can help but I do need to plan ahead for these things LOL
Hi Leighann!!! Steve said Rayna called last night....She's way on top of thank yous than Allyson...who is WEEKS behind :( Glad Rayna enjoyed her gift :D
Kathi...you should put a comment on the blog to let us know what happened to you regarding your health...you have alot of challenges and it would help if we knew your background in it...didn't it start with anesthesia that went wrong??
Brenda, BTY...Allyson sent us a text saying "thanks" :) I am struggling with a theory paper that is due on Thursday...hopefully it will start flowing here shortly. Also, my portfolio "needs some more work" damn it!
WOW; that's going way back, Brenda; yeah, when I had one of my surgeries, they gave me too much anasthesia and almost lost me; well, for 36 years, they didn't know why I was starting to have these "seizures" (BUT THEY'RE NOT SEIZURES); two years ago, it was finally diagnosed as Paroxysmal Diskenisia(sp), after a trip up to LA to see a top Neurologist and movement specialist with Kaiser. Orthopedically, I have skeletal Dysplasia, which was dianosed about 33 years of not knowing what THAT was; so yeah, I have a lot of challenges, but I'm here! Because of all the stuff I was born with, they didn't expect me to live past the age of five (after I reached my first birthday, which was a huge milestone in itself)...I didn't talk until I was three and didn't walk alone, with a walker, until I was five.
WOW! Kathi...I can't imagine! You are here and you are a fighter :) Thanks for filling in the holes in your journey. Keep on keeping on!!!
Leighann...thanks for letting me know about Allyson...I hound them all the time about thank yous and it REALLY makes me made that I have to do that :( Sorry that you have to work on the portfolio...and hopefully those creative writing juices kick in NOW LOL :)
Yes, Brenda, I am a fighter and always will be. I know I'm here for a reason; though I'm not quite sure what that reason is yet; but I'll tell ya something.....reading Crystal's and Gwen's journies to their children has completely opened my eyes and changed my life.
That's very cool Kathi :) Maybe there is something that's drawing you (?) Besides them being people you know and are going through amazing adoptions...maybe missionary work??? :D
OK...nothing happening as of yet...have my internship to do today... The car is, yes, $780.00! Kathi, Were you joking about Stephanie "chewing your butt"
Hey Rima...I start work at 6am and I work on a computer all day :) Then I get off work at 2:30 and it's like I have a whole new day !! Now Steph is the one who has the dream job...She'll need to chime in and share her story :)
It's my faith that keeps me going, Rima; God didn't forsake me or my parents when I was younger and going through all that; there's no way I'm going to forsake him now.
Wow, I guess once again, anything and everything a person says, could possibly be taken completely out of context. Of course, I didn't mean anything by saying I would chew your butt about your diet, Kathi. I was only kidding. I know you are trying, and I won't say another word, I promise!
Rima, I work at home, typing doctors' dictation. I work anywhere from midnight, on, depending on when I finish. It's not a particular shift. It's tough sometimes, and a struggle with discipline, but yes, it is a dream job in the aspect that I get to stay with my kids, and I pretty much set my own schedule, which happens to be night-owl hours! It's the only time the house is quiet enough to get anything accomplished! :)
Hi Everyone! Happy Tuesday! It has been a busy week and I have not had much work out time... Marci - I was hoping to see an update on that baby!!! Tina
Hey all, Steph, no worries. We all know that you want the best for us all! Tina, Hope you find some time for yourself this week... Rima, Let me know what you want your "goal" to be...like 10 pounds a week or 10 miles, etc. Kathi, I hope the PT helps you out and keeps you mobile... Brenda, YES, I have a few pages written:) Marci, We are ALL thinking of you guys and Mylee June!!!
I have one more class to "intern" -I may have to get a cup of coffee, I couldn't sleep last night...all I could think about was homework! Plus, it looked like Paul was fighting for life the way he was thrashing about and flinging pillows...he said he slept great when I asked him. It was kinda weird in a funny way.
Hey everyone, we will be leaving for the hospital in about 1 hour... getting ready!!!!!! Kk is a little nervous, but really doing good... I have access to the internet during the night, so I will keep ya'll posted.... they will give her a little sedative to help her relax and sleep, so I can scoot out every now and then...
Love to all and thanks for yours prayers and thoughts....

Stephanie, working from home must be nice. It is definitely something that matters when you have kids in the picture. Day care can be so expensive from what I hear. It' something I think about and I don't know how people can afford kids these days and in San Diego?
Leigh Ann I don't know how long you are going to keep this going. I want to lose 20 lbs by July4th I guess. 2lbs a week maybe. Probably not realistic but I can try.
And by the way my coporate soccer league got massacred today 13 - 0. It was awful not even worth the running around we did. Tina, Leigh Ann any pointers I can pass along, let me know.
No, Steph, I didn't take your "chewing your butt" out of context...I know you were kidding; I didn't mean to make it sound like I thought you were serious (I re-read everything that was said).
Ok we had a good night... she slept about 5 hours... they havne't checked her yet... they will break her water about 7 a.m. (5 your time)... will keep you posted..
No news yet...I know my dad and sister are supposed to go the hospital.
Rima, I will do this forever:) I will make you a ticker for 20 pounds. So, your first weigh in will be Sunday...or anyday of the weekend. Do you guys play indoor at work?
Brenda and Tina - you guys will both be traveling this weekend. Have a great time:)
My paper on student development theory is 80% done...my powerpoint on critical issues in student affairs is 95% done...my summary on chapters 9 & 10 is complete...I haven't started the five reading assignments - this is what all is due tomorrow night. Thanks for asking:)...who am I,again?
LOL...this is too funny. During my internship last night (where I sit and observe my mentor - the professor for 6 hours), I decided to write some of my papers...when I woke up my right hand is swollen and sore...like it gets when I crotchet too much. And I have a permanent callous (sp) on my middle finger - too much:)
OK, Mylee arrived at 12:31 their time and weighed 7lbs., 2ozs. and was 20& 3/4 inches long. As soon as she sends me pics I will post them. Mom is fine, too.
Congrats Marci!!!!!!!! and of course KK :D You got it so close Tina....what should your prize be :D LOL Can't wait to see pictures!! See you all tomorrow!!
Thanks in advance for the card, Leigh Ann. She will be so excited to get mail. She loves to go with mommy to check the box every day. And she will love the contribution to her gourmet candy bean fetish, in the jelly bean aisle at Publix! I think they have like 50 different flavors. Lord, help me! :)
She is such a girl. We were dropping off Jonathan at school this morning, and sitting in line, I glanced back at her and noticed a tiny spider sitting on the seat, right next to my shoulder. I sort of reflex-flicked it off, and it landed in the back seat and started to crawl, and Ansley saw it and CAME UNGLUED. I smashed it quickly, and I was her hero. She is terrified of Elvis, the iguana at Toot's, Leigh Ann. (That's some local rhetoric, girls.) You are going to crack up when you see how she acts. Definitely an "indoor" girl. :)
Then, I get a call from the Rutherford County notification system that Jonathan's school was locked down today (CODE YELLOW). I called the school to check and apparently there was a "road rage incident" right outside of the school, on Old Nashville Hwy. OMG. The police were all around, but they just locked down the school as a precaution.
That is so scary about the school...did he give you any details as to how it went... I know here Raynas teacher was clue less, thought it was a fire drill and was taking them outside.
LOL about Ansley...Rayna and Paul got a kick out that when I read it to them...
Hi everyone! Hope everybody is having a great week! I am trying to get things together to be gone this weekend... wheee fun. I am sick of soccer tournaments!!!
You'd think that a TEACHER would know what to do in a lock down situation...well, at least they did take a precaution and had a lock down...you never know these days
Just found out that my cousins are going to be coming down (they live in Tehachapi) this weekend for their daughter's dancing; have to call back later to get all the info on it.
I asked Jonathan when I picked him up, how the code yellow went...he said, "how did you know?" I told him they called all of the parents about it... :) He said they didn't know what it was about, that they just called a code yellow, and the assigned kid got up and shut the classroom door and made sure it was locked, and the second door to the outside, and they said over the PA that they were locking all doors to the outside, and then they just had to sit and work. Code yellow is not the worst...code red is when they have an "unauthorized person" in the school and they have to turn out the lights, lock classroom doors and hide in the coat room...unreal what is happening in elementary schools these days!
Leigh Ann, tell Paul that Mark Fields died. I don't know if Paul knew him, he was a few years older than John. Big, red-headed Mark Fields...they went camping last weekend and he died in his sleep while camping with his family. They diagnosed sleep apnea. I think John said they are burying him on Friday. He was 37 years old.
Good Morning everyone... Mylee June is gorgeous! I will be running home quickly this morning sometime to get a change of clothes and brings a few things home. Will forward many many many beautiful pictures! Nonnie got to cut the cord, and of course was shaking while a wild banchee..... :) what a incredible beautiful experience to see... (when you are in labor you just cannot appreciate the beauty and miracle of the birth of a baby)
Love to all, and thanks soooo sooo much for the thoughts, prayers, and love.... whew... I slept for 5 hours straight just now, she got up and nursed... KK said I was snoring... I said, now, you know how I felt with your Dad!!! :) ha I was the "man" this time.
Marci, LOL! Isn't that funny how extreme fatigue will make you snore? I have never had anyone tell me I snore, but the other day after working a long day and no nap, I woke myself up. I can't know if the sound was was air trying to get through my totally clogged sinuses, or actual snoring, but funny, nevertheless!
Congratulations again, on the baby! I am so happy everything went well. Can't wait to see the pictures!
Morning Everyone! Snoring...too funny...I ask Dailen says, "moms don't snore- dads, do" - boy do I have her fooled! Marci, Can't wait to see pics of Mylee. Tina, I will being on the sidelines with you - it kills me! Steph, That is awful...I will let Paul know. Kathi, Unexpected visits are nice:)
WHOA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SOMEONE IN MIRA MESA WON THE 38 MILLION DOLLAR LOTTO!!!!! FOR THOSE OF YOU ON THE EAST COAST....THAT'S THE NEIGHBORHOOD ON YOUR BIGGEST BLOGGER LOSERS LMAO...AND I'M NOT A WINNER LOL.....ARE YOU?????
We got Ansley's birthday card today, Leigh Ann. She was thrilled! She ran into the house with it, saying, "My Mail!!" and opened it and said, "(BIG GASP) A PRINCESS HOUSE!!!" when she saw the card, and then, (ANOTHER BIG GASP) "MONNNEEEEY!" :)
Marci, Mylee is beautiful; can't wait to see more pics; and congrats on cutting the cord; I think I'd faint if I had to do that; not cuz of the blood, just cuz I'd be soooooooooooo excited and the adrenaline would be PUMPING
Having a little break, KK is nursing Mylee right now, she is really doing well with her. I am very proud of her! Mylee was down to 6 lbs 12 oz as of this morning, but that is normal.. she will catch back up to birth weight quickly I am sure.
Rima, see you on the field tonight! Tina and Brenda, enjoy your weekends away! Kathi, are the realatives still coming? Marci, I know you guys can't wait to get home! Stephanie, How are things out your way?
The weather is supposed to be GREAT this weekend!!! I have to go to PSD and housing this am to get things rolling for my transfer...
LA and Rima - KICK some butt tonight! Brenda - enjoy your trip Stephanie - Loved the spider story! Marci - Hope you,KK, and that beautiful baby get lots of rest. Kathi - enjoy your family! I will be driving to freakin LA tonight. ICK!
LA, yeah, the cousins are still coming; I rented a car so I can go and see the dance competition tomorrow, since I won't be able to go on Sunday (either getting the orthodics or having them made - they're special order...and the best thing is is Kaiser's (medicare) paying for them, whereas they would normally be a couple hundred bucks); I'm hoping my cousins can make it to my birthday dinner tomorrow.
Hope you have fun on your trips, Tina and Brenda..I don't envy you Tina; I know that trip up to LA
Yeah, no kidding; god, i miss having a car; yeah, i'm using a little of my vegas money, but this is almost a once in a lifetime thing, having my cousins come down here instead of me going up there; and it's my birthday weekend...thought i'd splurg this time..but not splurging too much, as i'm getting the economy size
Hey everyone... Home at last! They were going to keep us again tonight b/c of Jaundice levels, but the pediatrician is on call and said just call her tomorrow or Sunday if we feel uncomfortable with the way she looks... and we go in Monday at 8:30.
I've missed so much on this blog from the last week... Games tonight? good luck...
I'm going to be selfish and say I'm glad Leigh Ann will be closer for me, but those of you in California, I know will miss her, Paul and the girls! Kathi! Have a great birthday weekend.. Thanks for all the good wishes..
Glad you're home too, Marci; yeah, I'd watch Mylee close(ly?); from all the tv shows I've watched on newborns, KK's gonna have to supplement her with formula (just a little); we want her to poop A LOT; I know it'll be disgusting, but it'll help get the jaundice out; my oldest niece had to be under the lights, at home, thank goodness, when she was newborn; but thinking good thoughts for Mylee ... where did KK come up with that name anyway? It's so pretty; is it after Mylie Cyrus?
How's Gabby doing with her epilepsy meds? Do the rest just love being aunties?
Marci, thank you for your birthday wishes; I will have a great time tomorrow; cousins are gonna be dancing at the ECPAC (El Cajon Performing Arts Center...for those East Coasters, that's about 20-30 min. east of here)
Kathi, the pediatrician told us not to worry, Mylee is pooing and teeing good and it will work out... Kk's milk is coming in today, so that's great! Leigh Ann, she is really an awesome little mommie, she is so attentive to Mylee and told me this morning, she "loves" breastfeeding... she doesn't want to supplement, b/c the bottle is a whole lot easier than the breast, so they won't continue to breastfeed.. you just have to work thru the difficult time... they will make it....
Tina, Brenda, Steph, Kathi,.... and everyone else.... thanks for thinking of us and praying for us.... will send updates on Mylee June.... KK is wanting to go to church Sunday, she's feeling great, so we will probably attempt...:) I need to go and see an update on Crystal.. Love to all, Leigh Ann, will put those envelopes in the mail by Monday... got a little sidetracked!!! :)
Hi everyone. Made it to Torrance with little issue. Traffic was surprisingly easy... carpool lane made a HUGE difference.
Marci, I am glad you all are home safe and sound.
LA... how did we do against that new team last night? I fell asleep at 9... so couldnt call and check. ha. First game is at 10... so im off to see if they have an eliptical in the gyme... :) Tina
Well, it was a WONDERFUL birthday; it's actually not "official" for another half hour.,..was born at 9:46pm; but it was such a fun day...but i'm EXTREMELY tired; it was great to see my relatives again, and down here, for a change...lol
Tomorrow's my cousin, Shannon's birthday; he's gonna be 41 (Yes, Shannon is a guy); when he and his sister were in Japan, they sent me a postcard, saying "happy birthday" to me

So, to recap...everyone is invited to Callahan's on the 19th at, what did I say, 6pm? I emailed Mandy and invited her and asked how she was doing after the wreck and all.

Hey Stephanie,
I appreciate your support earlier:) So, how many miles did you log this week?
Mackenzie, cook Aunt Marci some brownies... I'm coming over!!!

Oh, that is so sweet, the walking and I want to retire! You need to create a blog.
I will leave that up to you my sister... make a separate blog to the side for me!!!! LOL
I will just keep you informed...

Marci,
Go to www.blogger.com and just do it, darn it:)
I wouldn't even know where to begin!!!!!
LOL
Marci
Yeah, you guys!! Us here in CA will be jealous as hell hearing about all of you together :(; well, guess we might just have to take a trip there one day :D...hey, and if the Wraters are getting a pool.....POOL PARTY;
I need some motrin!! LOL...gotta go find some!
Kathi, I sure don't know anything about printers :( or computers! UGH, I feel for you
Good Morning and Happy Monday!
My mom's b-day is on the 12th...I had to go check my calendar.
We bought Ansley the cutest card:)
I will pass on all of your happy b-day wishes to Rayna...Thank you.
Happy Birthday Rayna Ruth!
Lots of hugs from Louisiana.
Good morning everyone....
It has been busy on this blog! WOW.
and Happy Birthday to baby Ansley, and Kathi and Ms. JoAnn(I hope I remember that correctly, huh Leigh Ann?)
Marci
Yes, that's right. I take it no baby, yet?
Could you guys comment for Raynas b-day on my blog...just put up a pic from her party. Thanks.
I will be doing homework today, so I will be checking in A LOT!!! The blog is my break...
Chrissie has asked for me to send her the check, so let me know when you mail yours, with amount, and I may go ahead and drop her one in the mail. Kathi, I know your doing paypal.
Marci,
I am going to try and find your blog cause I do remember that...
Steph,
My dad is doing ok...low iorn, but good BP...ornery (sp) as hell.
Leighann...Steve is going to run by your house at some point to drop something off for Rayna and to give you monies for the fund raiser :) I'll pop in your blog now!!
I like to use the blog for a break too...depending on what I'm working on, my head starts to spin and I need to clear my head :)
Brenda,
Did you get my email?
Happy Monday Everyone!! WELCOME RIMA!!!
duh... if im gonna use anonymous... i really need to sign my name. Above post from dumb ole me!
Tina
Hi Tina, have a great day:)
that was pretty funny Tina!!! LOL Thought it was Rima until I saw the Welcom Rima part LOL
ok...going for the morning walk :)
Nice man for you, Kathi - too cute! I will have to check out the latest on Princess Diana...
Geez...glad you can concentrate on work, now...that doesn't even sound right:)
Shouldn't you get a massage or something?
I know Tina needs one after her taxes...
OK, I am mailing off a check: Is this right?
Brenda $20.00
Marci $20.00
Stephanie $20.00
I am going to put in $40.00 to make it an even $100.00 and Kathi I know you doing something, too!
Thanks everyone!

my co workers were talking about this guy out of the UK and he has a show, I think Sun nights TLC at 8pm...I'm thinking I may check him out...looks like he'll be on the radio this evening...although I haven't had a chance to really read about tonights broadcast as to where...etc...
yes...20 for me...and Thank you Leighann for being the one to bring this up and do something :)
Oh, a massage would be wonderful. Great idea. I have a voucher for a facial too. Mmmmm.....
Leigh Ann, about your dad, ornery is cool, as long as that's his norm, which I get the impression it is! Spoken out of love, of course! :)
I will get a check out for my portion on the donation tomorrow.
No Kathi... I dont have a blog, but I do have a google account. Just too lazy to sign in.
LA - a massage after taxes!! HAHAHA! Problem is after we pay em... we cant AFFORD a massage! LOL
Oh, put me down for 20$! And remind me when I see you next! :o)
Tina
Good deal...and yes, with love:)
Will do, Tina. Thanks...
I will send you a $20 in the mail.... thanks for taking care of this...
Oh, Nonnie got her a new ride... A Dodge Durango with the 3rd seat... very nice, smooth ride....
Marci
Congrats to you Nonnie :D A third seat!!! No kidding! WOW :D
Here Here! A cheer for Beer!
hahahaha
Tina
I will drink to that:)
cheers!
Going to the gym, I HATE SCHOOL!
I sure wish I had called you LA. Going to the gym with you would be WAY more fun than getting on my eliptical here. *sigh*
Well here goes...
Tina
Damn it...
Oh, and I made the appointment to get the orthodics also, but that probably won't happen until next week.
Marci
Leigh Ann, you're awesome to be back in school. Hang in there. Love it! Embrace it!
I have been saying I want to go back for the last 2 years. Still waiting on it to happen. Ha ha. Not this year, maybe next year.
Well I am glad to say that I did go to yoga today. I was almost going to bail out, but I made it. Feel so much better afterwards, but it takes everything for me to get there.
Hey Hey Rima!!! Hi girl! :o) LeighAnn and I did yogo... once. Hahahaha.
Tina
I would LOVE to do yoga; talk about stretching my body...but knowing me, I'd probably push it too far and then need a chiropractor; think I'll look into living in a bubble for a while..that way nothing else can happen
Oh Kathi, I feel for you...
Rima,
I loved yoga the one time I did...your right though, the hardest thing is actually getting there!
Marci,
I wish I was there...ya'll better rest up tonight!
Like bubble boy on Seinfeld. Did I Get that right?
I didn't like Yoga until I attended this class at work. The instructor makes so much of a difference.
Yeah, Rima. I was actually also thinking of that movie way back when with John Travolta
Rima,
how many classes have you been to? Just wondering when I won't have to look at everyone else to figure out what the heck I am supposed to be doing:)
I loved the bubble boy episode... LOL
Did Rayna have a good day at school?
I've got to get my calendar updated and keep up with everyone... am mailing my money for Malawi tomorrow and a little something for Rayna.
Love ya
Marci
A half-marathon, actually. It's coming up at the end of this month.
Good Morning Everyone!
Hi Leighann!!! Steve said Rayna called last night....She's way on top of thank yous than Allyson...who is WEEKS behind :( Glad Rayna enjoyed her gift :D
Oh yes...she is laughing all the way to the bank...lol
awwwww clap clap clap!!!
awwwww clap clap clap!!!
Kathi...you should put a comment on the blog to let us know what happened to you regarding your health...you have alot of challenges and it would help if we knew your background in it...didn't it start with anesthesia that went wrong??
Brenda,
how are you feeling today?
Brenda,
BTY...Allyson sent us a text saying "thanks" :)
I am struggling with a theory paper that is due on Thursday...hopefully it will start flowing here shortly.
So, you all can see how very blessed I am.
sorry, that was supposed to be without a walker
Steph, there's no need to chew my butt; I am walking again, though not quite as long, but I am doing it
Leighann...I'm feeling better today...thanks...alittle residual aches so I took more motrin this AM :D
Kathi,
Were you joking about Stephanie "chewing your butt"
That's what she said she would do; although I know she was joking. But yes, I am walking again, inspite of the pain.
oh know Leighann...I feel for you in the car maintenance dept :( so sorry!!! nothing happened yet...LOL...crap LOL...Ommmmm...Ommmm
WTG Kathi in the walking :)
Wow Kathi, I can't even imagine all those years. That is quite a story. You are so strong to keep going. How long are you walking for now at a time?
Leigh Ann what is your paper about?
You guys all get up so early. How do you guys do that?
Hey Rima...I start work at 6am and I work on a computer all day :) Then I get off work at 2:30 and it's like I have a whole new day !!
Now Steph is the one who has the dream job...She'll need to chime in and share her story :)
I will have to try and answer/respond during internship classes...have to hit the showers after the gym...
have a good workout Leighann and a good day at your internship classes :)
Tina
Hey all,
Steph, no worries. We all know that you want the best for us all!
Tina,
Hope you find some time for yourself this week...
Rima,
Let me know what you want your "goal" to be...like 10 pounds a week or 10 miles, etc.
Kathi,
I hope the PT helps you out and keeps you mobile...
Brenda,
YES, I have a few pages written:)
Marci,
We are ALL thinking of you guys and Mylee June!!!
Marci

GOOD LUCK KK and Marci!!
LeighAnn... you are so dedicated... I SO admire you.
Tina
Good luck at the hospital.
Wow Kathi, that is just so nice to hear.
I forgot KK was going in to the hospital tonight...GOOD LUCK, KK; WE LOVE YOU (you too, Marci)
Ok we had a good night... she slept about 5 hours... they havne't checked her yet... they will break her water about 7 a.m. (5 your time)... will keep you posted..
Marci
Best of luck, Marci. I am on your time, and it's getting close to amniotomy time...I hope all goes well and we have a baby soon! :)
Can't wait to hear; one more hour; I kind of feel bad that I had said that Mylee would be born tonight.
Happy Wednesday Everyone...Mylee June will be born today, WOW!
Good Morning!!! baby news?? wonder if she's holding that grandbaby now :)
No news yet...I know my dad and sister are supposed to go the hospital.
Rima,
I will do this forever:) I will make you a ticker for 20 pounds. So, your first weigh in will be Sunday...or anyday of the weekend.
Do you guys play indoor at work?
Brenda and Tina - you guys will both be traveling this weekend. Have a great time:)
no news yet??? omg...edge of the seat waiting LOL very cool your dad and sis are to be there :D OK auntie...we'll keep waiting
Thanks for the well wishes for our weekend...I work til noon tomorrow, so I'll check in before we head out :)
I keep thinking today is Thursday...
LOL...I so wish it was Thursday :) I'm sure your days are running together right now...your poor head!! How's the writing now, as the morning goes on
My paper on student development theory is 80% done...my powerpoint on critical issues in student affairs is 95% done...my summary on chapters 9 & 10 is complete...I haven't started the five reading assignments - this is what all is due tomorrow night.
OMG!!!!!!!!! these last 2 posts need to be framed next to your dipoma
Stephanie,
Mailed a card to my Ansley with a couple of dollars so she can buy her some "candy beans":)
FYI all - That is what she called her jelly beans the Easter Bunny left her - too sweet.
That's too funny; candy beans sounds better than jelly beans, anyway
What's the news, Marci?
I want to call, but I know they must be busy...
you're the auntie...CALL! LOL.. I also love that term candy beans!!!!
Yeah, LA; call; we're all dying here...
I can't focus on work!! LOL
LOL, Brenda; I know, I keep checking on here also...
OK, Mylee arrived at 12:31 their time and weighed 7lbs., 2ozs. and was 20& 3/4 inches long. As soon as she sends me pics I will post them. Mom is fine, too.
CONGRATULATIONS, MARCI; Glad KK is doing good; can't wait to see the pics
WHOOOO HOOOOO YAY!!! WE HAVE A BABY!!!!
CONGRATS AND I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE PICS!! (oh... and i was close for time.. i said 11:38) hehe
Tina
Pretty eventful day!
Yay, Mylee June! Happy Birthday to you!!!
Tina
:) ha
I was the "man" this time.
Marci
Happy Thursday everyone! Marci I just cant wait to see pictures!! I am so happy for you and KK. Congratulations Nonnie!
Tina

Tina
Very sweet...she is beautiful!!!
Thanks, guys. That was very sweet.
Oh, I am so glad she was excited. I will have to let the girls know...
DAMN; it wasn't me that won that money :(;
Marci, Mylee is beautiful; can't wait to see more pics; and congrats on cutting the cord; I think I'd faint if I had to do that; not cuz of the blood, just cuz I'd be soooooooooooo excited and the adrenaline would be PUMPING
Sorry if this is a sore subject, but does the father of Mylee know about her?
Father knows, but has chosen not to be a part of her life...
nice guy (sarcastically speaking); I'm glad KK has a great support system
What a sweet baby. Congratulations. Hope new mommy and baby are doing well.
Brenda have a good weekend.
Having a little break, KK is nursing Mylee right now, she is really doing well with her. I am very proud of her! Mylee was down to 6 lbs 12 oz as of this morning, but that is normal.. she will catch back up to birth weight quickly I am sure.
We will be going home in the morning! Hooray!
Marci
Happy Friday Everybody!
Rima, see you on the field tonight!
Tina and Brenda, enjoy your weekends away!
Kathi, are the realatives still coming?
Marci,
I know you guys can't wait to get home!
Stephanie,
How are things out your way?
The weather is supposed to be GREAT this weekend!!! I have to go to PSD and housing this am to get things rolling for my transfer...
Good Morning All!!!
LA and Rima - KICK some butt tonight!
Brenda - enjoy your trip
Stephanie - Loved the spider story!
Marci - Hope you,KK, and that beautiful baby get lots of rest.
Kathi - enjoy your family!
I will be driving to freakin LA tonight. ICK!
Tina
Oh... and MOST of all.. I will miss you and Paul and Rayna this weekend... boo-hoo.
Tina
Tina,
Hope you guys kick some butt, too.
Wheels, nice:)
That will be better on gas anyway...
yeah; it's a little chevy aveo
Marci
Glad you guys are home...how are they doing?
Marci, thank you for your birthday wishes; I will have a great time tomorrow; cousins are gonna be dancing at the ECPAC (El Cajon Performing Arts Center...for those East Coasters, that's about 20-30 min. east of here)
Kathi,
the pediatrician told us not to worry, Mylee is pooing and teeing good and it will work out... Kk's milk is coming in today, so that's great!
Leigh Ann,
she is really an awesome little mommie, she is so attentive to Mylee and told me this morning, she "loves" breastfeeding... she doesn't want to supplement, b/c the bottle is a whole lot easier than the breast, so they won't continue to breastfeed.. you just have to work thru the difficult time... they will make it....
Have a great day tomorrow!
Love
Marci
OH, and her name
My Godfather's name is Myles, so hence Mylee, and Paw Paw Spears is June Austin, so her middle name will be June...
Mylee June Spears!!!!!
Marci
Tina, Brenda, Steph, Kathi,....
and everyone else....
thanks for thinking of us and praying for us....
will send updates on Mylee June....
KK is wanting to go to church Sunday, she's feeling great, so we will probably attempt...:)
I need to go and see an update on Crystal..
Love to all,
Leigh Ann, will put those envelopes in the mail by Monday... got a little sidetracked!!! :)
Marci
I'm glad things are working out great. KK sounds like a great mom.
Tina
Tina,
thank goodness for carpool lanes!
I couldn't imagine driving in all that traffic!
How was the games last night?
Marci
Morning, everyone...
WOW, Tina; I'm surprised traffic wasn't that bad on the 405; that's one of the bad freeways in LA;
LA, I thought you'd be done with soccer now... ?
We are just "filling-in" until we leave...
