I will be hitting the books hard this week and also trying starting a 4 week fat burning program today.
Basically, it's working out and watching what I eat:)No, it's a little different than what I have been doing. 12 pounds in 6 weeks?

Brenda, I was talking more about the cost of the shoes, rather than the walking in them; they're $140 and that's gonna take a chunk out of my trip money :o(; I should, if I remember to keep wearing them, have them well broken in by the time we go

which is awesome.... they usualy don't get back up to birth weight for 2 weeks... the pediatrician said to skip next week going on, since she is doing so good...

She's fighting an infection from it..pray for her health :) Kathi...Dana is on board to join us, not sure about Allyson yet...Leighann...Dana is dating a guy named Carlos...apparently a very funny guy...won't bring him to Chevys though because of Paul's loss LMAO (John) Dana and John have remained friends...they just have realized they aren't a dating match anymore...
LOL...of course she can bring him! She is our priority, not John:)

Race Day is looming!
Just got notification that when I report on the 24th to pick up my race number and packet, I will check in with my "pace runner". He is the guy that will be running at the pace I estimated for myself, so I can just fall in and keep up with him and not worry about checking my time at each check point...isn't that cool? One less thing to worry about. Now, I just have to worry about what color shirt and shorts to wear...that's vitally important, you know. One must look good... :-) Brenda, I still haven't found a green plaid shirt yet! That would be just too snazzy! :)
Steph...that is very cool that you'll have a pce runner...this is a world unknown to me..so fun to read about from you!!!
Leighann...not in a bad way, uncomfortable...just new boyfriend and not ready to bring him out ..and knowing how much Paul likes John...but she's not in a bad way about the whole thing...

I have been working on my research paper and I thought it had to be 20page with appendices...no, its 25-30 pages without the appendices! I have roughly 10 more pages to go, dern it!!! Plenty of time, not due till the 30th. I should be fine, if I don't have a stroke:)
Where does Allyson work, Brenda? I'm glad that she might be able to come. It's gonna be sort of a Klassic Kids reunion..how fun

I was bathing the baby, and of course, are you hurting her? is the water too cold? why is she crying, did you put the water too hot? did you put soap in her eyes? did you squeeze her too hard? did you pinch her in the tub? is the towel soft? what kind of soap is that? is she hungry?
I asked her if she wanted to do it... and she bust out crying.... why did I hate her so much!!!!!! I said WhAT?????????? HELP!!!!!!!!!! LOL
Thank God we started the depression medicine over 1 1/2 ago.... should kick in shortly....
Mike is holding the baby now, I told KK I would take a break, and her dad could help her for a while.. she's chillin....

Hey all I have a question regarding that Church in Texas where they pulled the kids....In all the pics I've seen...WHERE ARE THE MEN LOL...I know it was the women taking pics and video, getting their story out...but come on...at some point you normally would see or hear a father react to his family being taken away...where are the men???

Oh gosh...they are :( I also heard what they do to the babies to start the process...something about dunking them in water..over and over....I wonder how they are going to do mass decompress on them...or are they?? I can't imagine!!!

Yes...it's the start of how they brainwash...but of course they lable it something else....the process gets the babies crying (obviously) and it's repeated ...yes, the babies are choking......The info is out there for all of us to read but so far I see the concensus being they should be back with their families (I think it's the state govt that feels that way) I can't imagine those kids going back there :(

I don't know what the decision will be. But if they decide to take them away, it would be a very big adjustment for those kids. They probably think we are all wrong. It's strange how an environment can shape a person.

About the Texas thing...OMG; they are so incredibly brain washed; those poor kids. I feel so bad for everyone that lives on that compound because they don't have access to anything outside of those walls..internet, tv, STARBUCKS (LOL), grocery stores...

Marci, don't want to move to Texas? We thought about it before (had a job offer there), but I don't know if I could stand it either. But not because of sicko/weirdo compound people, more because of the weather. Hot and dusty down south, and I heard they have blizzards in the north, and also too close to "tornado alley" for me. We get enough of that here, for my taste. Actually, I have heard that TN is a lot like TX. I know the people talk the same here as they do there. George Bush sounds a lot like a Tennessean to me. Hmmm.

Just got back from the pet store. I took Roger the dog for grooming and shots, and he is soft and smells all pretty, and is wearing a camouflage neck-kerchief, and has pink nails! :)
And, I bought a steel kennel for him. I am done...he ate through the door of his last kennel, and has been sleeping in the house. Last night he chewed a huge hole in a very expensive sleeping bag that was on the sofa...wait till his fluffy butt gets a load of the new kennel....Duh Duh Duhhhh!!!! :-)

Oh girls...New Madrid fault is rumbling today...they had an earthquake, 5.0 intensity this morning, originating in Chicago and felt all the way into Northern TN. Whew...
I couldn't believe it when I heard that this AM Steph...a friend of mine is on a job location in Missouri...she felt bad for those who never felt a quake before...they were very scared!! WOW...have you heard anymore news on that fault line??? I bet the geologists are going nuts on this one, aren't they?

About the quake. I heard TEMA interviewed a few geologists and they said New Madrid is actually a very active fault line, and this is no surprise. It was getting on up there in intensity, though. I don't think there were any reports of serious damage.

Hi all, just woke from a nap:) My ankle will be fine sprained what the docs thinks are four ligments. Paul's knee is more serious, they need an MRI to rule out surgery.
Yes, Kathi we are still on and will pick you up st a little after 6pm. I don't think it matter about the food...
Oh yea, injuries were from the game last night, although Paul's knee is a re-injury.
Can Paul even drive? What about walking?

Hi all; Just got back a little while ago. We had a blast; went to Brenda's after Chevy's and drank some more; Poor Paul and Leigh Ann; they were hurting so bad (they're gonna hurt WAY more tomorrow)

I got some race info to pass along for anyone who is interested...My race number is red, #1756. Those corrals hold approximately 1000 people each, and you can start getting into them around 0600 hours. They release the first corral at 0700, then at 1- to 3-minute intervals thereafter, but I think I am right up front...Also very cool, if you go to www.cmmarathon.com and click on the LiveResults bug on the home page, you can watch my times at the 5K, 10K and 10-mile marks. No pressure to perform there, right? :-)
I've got a little headache; but I'm mostly dizzy for some reason (but that might be because I'm seriously cutting down on smoking and I'm having withdrawals)
