Leigh Ann, yeah, the labs are high, but ok; he said that we can continue to watch them (no meds yet), but he still wants me to lose weight and stop smoking...so i'm gonna get back on track

Hey everyone...it's 8 pm. in Louisiana.... Me, Katelynne,Madison and Gabrielle were involved in a bad wreck this morning... a lady ran a stop sign and hit us broadside... Katelynne was brought to Woman's Hospital by ambulance... everything seems to be ok, but they are keeping her overnight... she's dilated a little more, so they want to make sure she doesn't go into active labor during the night.
Say a prayer that all will be ok...
LA, I called jeanine and Paw Paw and Jeanine let John Mark know...
I have my cell on inthe room...
225-278-9459... I'm spending the night with her... I'm hurting pretty bad, and got a huge bruise across my breast... but I'm not going anyway right now...

Oh, shit, Marci; praying over here. How are the other girls? Did they do an ultrasound on KK to check on the baby?

thanks for the prayers!
She's doing really good, she hasn't dilated anymore..... the doctor will come back in the morning and check her again. They did an ultrasound and everything is in tact, the baby was moving really good, and the placenta hasn't ruptured or anything.. we are waiting for the results of a bloodtest, it takes like 4 hours they said, to see if anything else is going on... the baby's blood cells would be in Katelynne's.. ???? anyways, they didn't tell us anything about that, so it must be ok as well...
Madison is complaining about her leg tonight, so I will probably bring her in the after hours clinic tomorrow and get myself checked as well.... My neck and back are really getting tight.

Hey Marci....I too am close to my ex husband's family...they are are very special people :) just because the marriage didn't work out for 2 people doesn't mean we have to lose the family too :D
Had a great day...went with my parent's to the Viejas casino buffet, played some gaming machines...me and mom won our monies back and a few more ;) then walked through some shops...went to my friend's second grand opening of her nursery and then to MARY'S SECRET GARDEN where I bought the coolest rustic tin dog for the garden...he looks like a weiner dog :)
AND to top it off my oldest daughter's vehicle came out of the shop costing DOUBLE what we thought...it was 1600.00 OMG
hoping tomorrow is a sunny day...a friend is taking me to the zoo in the AM to walk and then lunch :)
I really needed this relaxing weekend :)

KK was given a sleeping pill... so lights out for sister.... there is a 4 foot bench bed for me... so I'll try and stay up most of the night and walk around so I don't get stoved up...

Marci, I hope you are getting some rest. A 4-foot bench bed...OMG. I know exactly the ones you mean. Awful! Do they not know you were in the accident, too? PLEASE tell me you got checked out, too.

The tin dog for the garden sounds very cute!
I went shopping after work yesterday & bought 2 beautiful new pairs of heels (last season's 100-dollar heels, 60% off...yes!) One pair is peeptoe houndstooth and the other charcoal suede, both way tall, of course. ;-) Miss Ansley got 2 pairs too, sandals that show off her pink toes, as she calls them. She sat still like a big girl and let me do her toes yesterday, and was delighted when I told her, "let's go get some shoes!"
I also found a weinie dog pendant for my gold chain.
BTW, me and the baby are bad sick, her since Friday and me starting this morning. Hers is viral I believe, temp was 102 in the morning yesterday, but broke and she felt better by the afternoon. Now the sinus stuff has stopped pouring down her face, but she has a terrible cough. No fever for me, but bad ear congestion, bad sore throat and just feel yucky. The shoes were a nice boost. I haven't had a bite to eat but cough drops since breakfast yesterday, because my throat is brutal and I just don't feel like it. I am having some hot tea with honey right now...
Glad everything's ok with KK and the baby. That's pretty scary to be in an accident while so close to delivering. After everything is fine and she's out of the hospital, I'll tell you a story about my cousin.

i've been out ALL day; just got back...went to my friend's church today...they're LDS (god i hope the missionaries don't come-a-knockin now, but they probably will, since i showed an interest); but since i've been on donny osmond's website now, i've been really interested in the LDS religion...i'm not going to convert, just was curious

My daughter Dana's truck had a cracked fuel injector and was driving around on bald tires ...I don't notice those things...I leave them up to my husband...who leaves it up to Dana...who waits until there's an emergency and wipes our finances out...all in a day at the Storey's
I have a really cute zoo story...I saw 2 monkeys playing...rolling around etc...when I looked closer, I noticed it was one monkey and one otter :D sooooo very cute!!! I took pics...I'll have to look at them on the computer and see if they are clear emough to share on my blog (LOL I'm so behind getting my blog updated)
That's funny about the tires, Brenda. I know that is totally a man thing to notice. My husband says, "those tires won't make it through the month", when they look fine to me. He says they are bald, but they still have tread. So I guess "BALD" means different things, to different people! :)
I feel much better this morning, after lying flat for the afternoon yesterday, and going to bed at 6:00! (Brenda, I didn't wear the shoes to bed, just hugged the shoebox while I slept) Kidding, of course!! I woke up pretty refreshed, but my ears are still stopped up. No matter what I do, they won't pop. It's agonizing...Ansley is back to her usual bouncy self too.
Yep, the Wrather dogs are pretty cool. I haven't had the chance to get to know Shirley, but Normie is like a person to us. What a good dog.
I can't wait to see Shirley and Normie; if I ever do.
Brenda, so far so good on tomorrow. I'm gonna call Community INterface today to see if they've come up with an RC for me yet. I'll keep ya posted...
BASEBALL IS BACK...WOOOOO HOOOOO!! yes, i'm a baseball fanatic; i just called time warner to get all the channels, inlcluding Padres games, back on. They're coming out on Thursday to hook it back up :D :D
And my anxiey is getting a little better. Still kind of feeling drowsy from the ativan and benadryl I took - took both to help me sleep last night.

Shirley is so sweet but Steve and I have decided she's an inbred...Leighann can explain LOL Norman is such a handsome and loving dog :) He never has a bad day either :D I'm going to miss them :(
Just had a thought, but I'm sure it's gonna be a LONG SHOT; with me going to Vegas though, not sure if it's going to work, but...... wouldn't it be cool if we all went out there to surprise them (say in October or something), and kind of had a "blog reunion"? That way, we can meet Steph and Marci also :D; yes, it's me going off on one of my tangents, but it would be nice

We were SO sore...Paul said it was cause we played 90 minutes full throtle. I fell off the roof at the happiest place on earth:) and took advil every 6 hours so I could hang!

I'll never forget the story from a someone I worked with...this is gross.....she was at Disney land...holding her both her kids hands as they walked through Disney...she was wearing a thong and a tampon...guess what LOL...it fell out onto the ground!! YEP and she just kept on walking...was not about to look behind herself for nothing LMAO...

WOW...Brenda, I can't believe she told anybody about that. Tampon lady, I mean....It's like I always say, those thongs are dangerous, not just to the wearer, but to every poor soul around her! I guess one of those poor kids who work the little dust pan and broom came by and scooped it up. ;0 YIKES. Now, there's a story to tell your friends at school.
The the co worker I was referring to...we both worked in an OB GYN office and she is the birth coach...LOL no topic was off limits to us regarding women issues LOL
Steph...I just caught a tale end of a radio program (darn , I'm always catching the end of the good ones) it was about runners getting a "runners high" I've heard that term but I had never heard it talked about in a scientific discussion...darnit I missed it :(
Brenda, do you sew at all? I need some karate pants taken in; much too long...they're a thick material, so it might not be easy; i'm doing laundry right now, so i'm bouncing back and forth between here and the laundry room; getting my exercise in for the day, that's for sure
