god, marci, if gabbi like shopping at six, can hardly wait to see her as a teen...
yup, the vegas fund is getting up there; so far the count is $626 and some change; now the problem: IT'S BURNING A FUCKING WHOLE IN MY POCKET...went out yesterday and got a bluetooth thing for my phone, lunch and a movie; it's gonna be the death of me, i swear. i'm considering though giving it all to my mom, since she offered, to hold it until we go; and i can still add more every month

Steve and I are celebrating our anniversary tomorrow and it'll be 21 years!!! We'll be a ROCK meeting LOL...it's not actually a meeting ...it's a day of playing with rocks we collect and eating ..
My feet are getting better..sore when I use them too much...we were in the desert today rock collecting and I may have done alittle too much walking but it was worth it :D

i'm so afraid of the scale tomorrow!!! hope i lost those three pounds i gained last week; but kind of doubt it
Well, I just got off of the very HOT treadmill, and I DID IT!!! I did 13 miles!!! In just under 2 hours, which is kind of slow, but I can work on that. I am just proud I actually did it, and can do what I signed on for in April!
Leigh Ann, for the ticker, I did 29 miles this week.
And, I have a giant blister on my baby toe...not good for spring shoes.

I gained 1/2 a pound...ugh! But, my eating was out of control this week. Time to regroup:(

i'm getting really anxious right now cuz crystal leaves tomorrow. i know it's for a VERY good reason..i'm just very worried for her; i know someone's going with her though, so that makes me feel a little better
i did a little walking last night; i walked down to arco, but it started raining, so grabbed a cab home...lol

Leigh Ann and Tina...oh no on the beer and pizza!!! After I ran today, I had a lean cuisine french bread pizza and a small scoop of lemon sorbet...afer that trek, I needed some sugars! :)
Leigh Ann, I saw Dougal in the Super Target yesterday and I said hello...he totally didn't know who I was, even though I played on a co-ed team with him a few years ago! I guess that's how much attention the hardcore footballers pay to girlies on the team! Plus, he sat right beside me at your house that time, for hours! :) Funny!

WE FINISHED UP KK AND MYLEE'S ROOM... PUTTING DOORS ON THE CLOSETS... their little apartment is complete....
it was so beautiful this weekend.. we worked in the yard and cut grass and weedeated.... will plant a few things next weekend... and mulch... I am SSOOO glad we fenced in the back yard with a privacy fence last year... we planted a bunch of fig trees and mulberry and plum trees... :)

I love my backyard... we cook alot with friends and play with the kids in the backyard... so the privacy is wonderful...
we are trying to get a pool down this summer... have to pay off a few other bills first.... hopefully....:) :) :)

We are doing an above ground - hence the deck above, what kind do you guys want to get?
we are looking at an above ground pool... b/c of the fact, we can take down later or replace... and not as expensive... plus, like you I like the idea about a deck around for sunbathing and relaxing...
Madison loves swimming.. and that's the only way she can really get exercise... her anxiety perhibits her physically in other areas unless she is one on one with us.... but she LOVES swimming and has no inhabitions...
we still put her in swimming lessons b/c she gets such wonderful exercise...
we will try and get to Kentwood this weekend to visit with paw paw.... he's not been physically up to par... hopefully it will get him out the bed...:::))))

I was just "laughing" at the guy who didn't have a clue who tina was when she went for the beer and pizza.
i was so happy i lost weight this week; i seriously didn't think i would. I'm gonna be going to karate this week and getting back into walking since I'm feeling much, much better.
marci, I think i will give the money to my mom; i'm already thinking what i can do with it; but i know i have to save it; it's so hard knowing that i have that amount of money and i can't do anything. i'm gonna be good for the next four months though, i swear.
when we lived in Los Angeles, we had a Dough Boy pool; I think it was fiberglass; and it was round. It was really cool. It was only like five feet deep in the center. You might want to check into that, Leigh Ann and Marci.
just don't think about it Kathi, just give to your mom and forget about it....
we too have been burning thru the funds lately... hence getting everything ready for Miss Mylee...
I stayed in the bed until 11 a.m. today!!!!!!! told Mike last night I wanted to be a queen on Sunday.. WELL< the queen slept all morning... nice.... he opened doors all day long and waited on me hand and foot!!!! :)

Hey all :) I didn't forget to weigh in after all...I'm down 1/2 pound considering all I didn't do in the form of cardio!!!! Great job Steph on reaching the goals you set...and to you too Kathi for losing weight! I'm not going to be able to work out or ride this week :( There is nowhere in my schedule darnit but TUES and FRI will be hard labor as I continue to help out a friend get her greenhouse orchids repotted...it's so much fun leaning about the orchids and that it does burn calories :) I just have to be careful what I eat!!

Brenda, I would think all that leaning over and potting and pulling and picking up is a WHOLE LOT of exercise .... :)

ok, now i'm totally depressed; i've been trying to get a family reunion together for over a year now (my mom's family, who is HUGE); i just talked to my cousin and she knew this, and she told me that everyone is so busy these days and have their own lives (she was nice about it)...which i knew about, so i think i'm gonna give up on it now; it depresses the hell out of me, cuz we haven't had one in over ten years (or close to it)...i just thought it would be nice, ya know; guess i'll just have to go visit people, like i was going to do last year, but my blood clot put a stop to that one. so i don't know when i can do it now, or if i even want to anymore. my family in apple valley calls me "the glue that keeps the family together"....well, i think the "glue" is losing its grip and it sickens me; but i do call every now and then, so i guess that's good

Hell, just plan the get together and whomever shows up wants to show up... maybe the one that told you she was too busy, is just she is too busy, not everyone else...

that's not necessary, marci; thank you. hey, you've got to save up for that grandbaby of yours to spoil rotten; but I'm leaving july 21st and coming back on the 24th. it'll be a nice little vacation for my friend and i; we haven't done this in almost ten years (yes, i haven't been to vegas in almost ten years...i can't wait to see all the changes - watch, i'll probably get lost with everything that's gone up since)
Leigh Ann, very exciting about the deck. I know that house needs a new one, and with a new pool too, it'll be gorgeous back there in your yard!! We drive by over there sometimes and John cranes his neck to look at the deck as we go by...he wants to go back there and look at it and check things out, but it's not "our yard" anymore!!! You know, wouldn't want to get his leg gnawed off by a pit bull, or surprise some unsuspecting tenant! :)
Happy St. Patty's Day, everyone! Buffalo Wild Wings opens today, and the first 100 people in get free wings for a year...John asked me to go stand in line for him, and I said, um.....NO!!! I can hear it now, me trying to call out of work for that one! :) Besides, free wings for a year...gross! We would have to do a documentary to watch John eat his wings, and his waistline expand! :)
