OKAY...finally reception, couldn't get the wireless to work at the hotel and my verizon broadband couldn't get reception there either, just like our cell phones half of the time. So, now that we are on the interstate, I am up and running. Hope everyone does great this week.

Tina, along with our hubbies, had a great time...I love the Wheel of Fortune slot mackine. No big wins, but no big losses, either!
Our girls did okay, 1W, 1T and 1L -so we didn't advance, but they played well. Tinas daughter, Jenna, however, hurt her ankle yesterday, so she couldn't play today. They aren't leaving until tomorrow, so she said to tell you guys hi and she will check in tomorrow. Angela probably the same.
FYI...I will weigh in tomorrow. I am NOT looking forward to it:(

That was a pretty even weekend for the girls,,, hopefully next time will be all wins! :)
The shower went great... I didn't have time to take the first picture... :( My sister in law and my sister and cousin all took pictures and will get to me.. and I can forward... We were so erwhelmed at the amount of people and gifts... I know at least 60 people were there.. and we only invited about 35... I was trying to keep it small b/c of the circumstances... but a lot of my friends just showed up with presents and food to support us.. :) It took 9 vehicles loaded down to get the presents to my house... !! unreal......
Mylee June will be the best dressed baby in Louisiana... she got so many monogrammed items and beautiful smocked items...
and I ate my ass off!!!!! LOL
bad deal I know... but we had a spread....

I found something for you when I went thru Sam and Kate's baby clothes... it was the beautiful blue ruffled dress that Sam used after Tori... I only had a few items of theirs, so I am not sure what you kept from Tori, but I had that, and 2 things from Cally, that I gave to Jeanine... it's good to have a few things after the years to remember.

Hey there to all....I did my weigh in and add 1 pound to me UGH!!! It's all good though :) I'm moving forward in all other areas...exercise, learning to appreciate eating healthy in most meals LOL..and lowering my blood pressure (YES!! it's been down x2 now..I'm thinking positive for more of that)....but I really do need to either burn more calories than I take in or cut back on calories...sigh...that is a hard one :)
Leighann...hope you are safely home now!!! that beer comment was from Marci :) but I can be guided by beer offerings also LOL...glad to hear the girls played well :) Hope Tina's daughter's ankle isn't too bad to heal!! SOunds like you had fun playing the gambling games too!!!!!!!!

I had a phenominal weekend at Quail Botanical Gardens :D I'm hoping by Weds to have pics on my blog....I, most often ,get too over stimulated about alot of things...and this was one of those times!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
OK now I must go and do food prep work for the week!

I am so glad the shower went well, how fun. Yes, Tori took her picture in that dress, I would love to have it...ya know, Mom never made her anything, I was not a favorite and neither was Tori. Oh well, such is life.

I am NOT weighing in - at least until tomorrow. I may even request a pass. Last week was so very busy, it's not that I ate bad (at least until the trip) but that I didn't exercise. Hope there's not too much damage done.
I was such a loser I couldn't find the girls in the casino (over slept from a nap, late feeding the kids, made my hubby mad 'cause I kept drinking his beer at the roulette table, blah blah blah). Today the guilt drove me to make multiple trips loading the car, running with luggage up to the top of the parking garage and then jogging the whole garage down! What a dork!
Hey LA - the rocket rental blew right past you early on I-40! I was half asleep, but By said you guys didn't recognize him. You were probably blogging. We made it back in 5hrs with potty stop in Barstow, accident traffic at Rcho Cucamonga and a food stop in RB. Scary!

You guys did make great time! I was disappointed last night, I really wanted to hang out with you, but please don't feel guilty. Maybe another time. I had great aspirations of walking the roof, it was so neat looking over the river, but I didn't make it out there - I fell off the roof hard Saturday and had no motivation. I ate well the first half of the trip, but I more than screwed that up on the second half and finished it off with dinner at Olive Garden tonight. You can pass this week, I thought about it, but I am going to do it and hope it motivates me and not mortifies me!
The weekends are always so rough... uugghhh...

My aunt made KK something for the baby and Mike's mom crochets like a banchee.... yes, M.I.L. does something good! ha that comment is with love to Steph... LOL
