Ok, so, now that we have decided we are going to do this - how are we going to do this? I was going to do the "Reset" program (see side bar), my endocrinologist recommended the program and I did do it, I lost 10 pounds, but it was very hard and I gained half of it back. So, then I thought about weight watchers and I like this program because it allows me to eat out more than the others. But, my girlfriend, who has hypothyroidism also, swears by the no-carb method - I just don't know if I can do it.
Be thinking and preparing yourself and your kitchens for this to begin January 1st. Leave me a comment with your beginning weight and I will make you a weight loss ticker. Our next weigh in will be January the 6th and each Sunday after that. Ending date will be Memorial Day 2008!
Let's see who can lose the most weight by then, if you want we can all chip in some money and the biggest blogger loser wins it!

Yah, I am glad you like it! I am having fun.
I love the ideas!! I'm going to go with the "low to no" program myself....my own name for it...the "low to no" will include the calories,fat,sugar,carbs..etc... :D And increase the exercise!!!! I sent out my emails...for the site but I see no one wanted to join with us...oh well :) I'm going to log in with the pounds I want to lose, not my actual weight :D Again, I'm thinking 40 to lose but I'll know for sure when I weigh in...Look forward to working out with all of you!! Even if it is via this blog :D HUGS to all!!!
I love it!! the "low to no"!! I think I will give that a shot too Brenda! As... I am not sure I can change what I eat... so perhaps reducing it and increasing exercise will make a difference.
I want to lose the 10 I gained when i quit smoking... and the 5 to 10 extra that was the FIRST friend my backside adopted!!

at least we are here...and thinking about what we're gonna do :D last night Steve and I walked the dogs...our jackets are being washed right now, so can't go tonight BUT I have been piddling around the house...up/down stairs...moving moving moving
Ok; because of my medical problems, I have to check with my doctor(s) before starting any weight loss thing...but they've been tellin me to lose weight for a while now, so I'm sure it'll be ok...just think, no more asthma, no joint problems when i walk...i'm likin it; so I will tell you my weight (MAYBE)...or maybe i'll do what brenda did/is doing and just tell ya how much i wanna lose...;)
