This is where I am at! I need to lose this weight ASAP. I am hoping now that my thyroid is under control, that once I get off my butt, it will start getting smaller.

I'm going to do my weigh in on New Year's day...I'm thinking I'm going to be at a 40 pound loss marker...Leighann, can you make me a marker, or do I do that?? I sent out the email to folks in hopes to get more intersted in a group event

Good Luck I'm sure you will be successfull!! I lost 30 lbs. last year doing weight watchers and I still have to pay attention DAILY to what I'm eating in order to maintain my goal weight, but it feels great!

I'm going to ask Dana if I can borrow here fitness manual...she made it and it's HUGE!!! LOL I can make copies of anyone is interested from out of town...or anyone in town wants copies or to see it. She has put, in mass, things she has gathered over the years, from magazines, specific exercises :D

I guess it's about time to go through the kitchen and move out the bad stuff...LOL I'm not going to take the girl's snacks away, if they want them...I think I'll get plastic tubs with lids and put their snacks in their rooms (although I don't like food in their rooms) The junk can't be in the kitchen!!! This weekend I'm going to the commissary and get more frozen etaname (soy beans)It's loaded with protein and fills you up :) You can thaw it in the fridge or microwave..eat it cold or even steamed...use pepper on top instead of salt...then just hold one between your teeth and kindof pull out the shell from your mouth leaving the little peas inside your mouth...this is how I eat them...for anyone who hasn't munched on soy beans :) I'm also going to make a supply of sugar free jello...then when I need that sweet, it's there and will top it with cool whip...I always used the fat free one...but Dana says the sugar free is better (healthier)OK ladies...what's your ideas??

She got really excited hearing about our venture...heck, if anyone needs someone to make you cry during a workout...she's the one (just kidding...sweating and peeing your pants...yes, she can do that to ya)

Hey ladies....I just talked to Heidi about the blog...I'm emailing it to her now...she wants in with us too!!!!!!!!!!! Although, her goals will be alittle different than ours...she wants to maintain her weight but get into shape.. :D

Here's a very bad bad word:
high fructose corn syrup
If we see this in any food...beware...and it's in most processed foods :(
It raises glucose and the bodies metabolic system goes haywire and gets a signal to store fat in the body
